Upon making my appointment, I was NEVER informed that my consultation had a charge. At my visit, a young female Doctor sat with me, and was touching base on what they can provide.Her eye contact was barely there and she talked to me like she was reading off a script! Maybe it just wasn't her day! Well, it surely wasn't mine, that's why I was seeking help! None the less , I choose not to go back because the vibe was very off!! It did not feel personable at all!! Upon check out, I was charged $250 for a 10min chat!!! I was told the $250 would go towards treatment. A year later , I have never used any of their services, but Life Spectrum refuses to give me my money back because that was the consultation fee period!! Has ANYONE else had this issue!!??

No weight loss either. I decided to stop spending my money after paying for 3 months of watered down injections. Staff is usually decent in the front. The providers that offer the follow ups are great. Everything is super expensive as it is that I will not return or recommend anyone here for this reason of throwing away your money for watered down injections. Last thing when prefilled syringes are given to you they also prefilled with a lot of bubbles and not enough sema/tirz that you end up injecting less medication! There are only PAs and a single nutrition specialist (CNC), who acts as their "medical director." Their diet is nothing more than a bare-bones high-protein low carb diet with little detail. Their claim that the diet is personalized to the individual is probably not true. The same diet plan is most likely given to everyone, regardless of their medical condition, although I cannot prove that. Their "proprietary" manual (the one I had to sign an NDA for!) is nothing more than a short pamphlet and diet plan anyone could have constructed in an afternoon with Google, Microsoft Word, and a printer. Their claims about weight loss, improved cholesterol and lowered blood pressure are similar to those made by most commercial diets. And finally, their medical testing - the aspect of the operation that is supposed to differentiate them from being just a diet - amounts to no more than a few routine labs and an ECG. All this is not to say that this diet does not help some people lose weight. Atkins-like diets work and some comments on this forum attest to that. It is just that the facility is not what it purports to be; and is therefore misrepresenting itself to patients, physicians, and to insurance providers - especially to Medicare -which we all pay for.
