Considering you have to trust someone with putting a tube in your behind, she really comes across as professional and down to earth. She gently puts the tube in and keeps an eye on the machines. She listens to you too. She works in a private room at a salon. This was a big deal to me because shes so clean and professional and it makes you feel safe. Michelle is a really great Massage therapist as well as colon hydro-therapist. I will start with the massage. I went in last week and I was highly satisfied. The room she uses is clean and beautiful. She did some aromatherapy which really helped me relax. As soon as she put her hands on me, I instantly knew that he had the "touch". Some people just have a feel for the body and she is one of them. Her hands are strong enough to really get into the knots and adhesions that were building up in my shoulders and other areas. She was communicative with me the entire time and made me feel very comfortable. I left after this massage feeling amazing! I highly recommend her. I have also been to her using her colon hydrotherapy services. I definitely was not looking forward to having this procedure done. Again, Michelle made me feel as comfortable as possible. She explained everything that she was going to do before hand and let me know what to expect. We started the procedure and It was certainly not the most comfortable thing I have done. As water circulates and cleans the bowels out, you feel pressure in your abdomen Michelle rubs the stomach and helps to ease the tension. I had this procedure done three times over three weeks and I certainly felt is was worth it. Every year as toxins build up in your body from air pollutants, food additives and more it tends to build up and deposit in the bowels and your body can't always remove it. Great colonic! I have had colonics before, and they were helpful and done by good people, but by comparison, Michelle was *excellent*, wonderfully adept at her task. Colonics in general can be uncomfortable, but she has thorough, gentle and precise technique from start to finish, especially when attempting to assist the bowels to release their matter, with the abdominal massage just strong enough but gentle, and I barely had any problems afterwards (like the constant running to the bathroom that a person might have to do...). She really does excellent work, and was a pleasant person besides. I so appreciated her understanding to have to reschedule due to an unwell pet. I look forward to my next one! read more

A few months ago I started feeling my age with various muscle pains throughout my body. Exercise was helping, but I still continued to feel chronic pain in neck, back and hips. I started Yelping for places that offer massages in my area. The Grand came up with many positive reviews but none specifically for their massages services. I took a chance and made an appointment. The Grand itself is a nice large establishment, with salon stations out in front and the massage/spa area located in the back with quiet private rooms. The whole facility was clean, nicely decorated and very well run with courteous and friendly staff throughout. I was introduced to Michelle, my certified massage therapist. She kindly offered me some water and guided me to a nicely decorated, private room. Relaxing music and dim lighting completed the ambiance. After I was comfortable on the table, Michele came back to the room and I told her where it hurt and she began to assess the areas of concern. During the time she applied Deep Tissue Massage Therapy to the troubled areas. She did a great job of finding the troubled areas and slowly working at them little by little. Enough pressure was applied indicating that she found the right spot, but not too much that causes you to jump off the table. It's that feeling that kind of hurts but at the same time you don't want her to stop because is also feels kind of good. I was a little sore through the next day, but that just meant Michelle did her job very well. Upper back and hips felt better through the rest of the week. Michelle is very sweet and a pleasure to chat with throughout the session, but she will also allow you to just relax during the time, if needed. I love her open and honest attitude. I'm one tense and tight dude, so telling me I need relax more, stretch and be aware when I tense up or my golden years are going to be difficult is what I needed to hear. It has been about 4 or 5 months since my first visit and I have had over 10 massages with Michelle since that time. The sessions typically cover the entire body (including arms, legs, fingers and toes) with focus on the areas needing the most work. I'm not going to say that a miracle has occurred and I am now 100% pain free. But, I truly do feel better throughout my entire body, with less cringing and cracking when I move. I am and have been one tense person for such a long time that I will continue to need the services of Michelle at least on a monthly basis for maintenance. The price point is comparable for a place of this quality. Various multi-session packages are available for a greater discount. Michelle has been amazing in making me comfortable & educated in the colon hydrotherapy process. I have suffered on & off for several years with digestive issues. I didn't realize how much crap was stuck in my intestines.
