I'm…read moreletting you know before you read further that this is one of the best massages I've ever had from Spirit. I've had massages from England to Thailand and this is one of the best. To start, this is truly a professional massage. It is not, repeat not, a cookie cutter massage. Spirit tailors your session to your needs. So that means if you need hot stones, you get hot stones. If you need aroma therapy, you get that. No stove piping into one particular massage for a certain price. She also does Ashitsu (feels a lot like lomi lomi) and a lot of stretching. The atmosphere is very cozy, she has a table warmer, aromatherapy diffusing in the room and shall I mention a 3" memory foam on her massage table?! Let me repeat that, memory foam...on the massage table. Most comfy massage EVER. She is truly an artist at her craft. Come prepared to really get worked on though. Why are you still reading?! Talking with Andrea, I knew that she was astutely understanding what I wanted, what I needed, and what I didn't want in the treatment. My second visit included a seaweed wrap followed by a massage. Saying it was wonderful is an understatement. The seaweed wrap was a unique experience of several different textures and temperatures. It was great to just relax and experience the process up until the final blanket and wrap. Even though one can feel vulnerable being nearly naked and covered in goop getting wiped down, I never once felt uncomfortable or overexposed with Andrea. Her professionalism and mastery of the process made me feel completely at ease and fully taken care of. The massage was exquisite--and i so wish that i had opted for the loner session time! She seeks out and works through knots and tightness in a relaxed and purposeful way. Appropriate lighting, a well-appointed table with comfortable attachments, and a thoughtful area to place your personal items. Start to finish, I feel like a valued client and leave with a sense of peace, relaxation and calm. Thank you, Andrea!
