At my last appointment, Dr. Kam got frustrated when I asked her about potential side effects of the various supplements she subscribed. She also asked questions about the other doctors who had ordered my labs, as if she was upset I was seeing other doctors as well. Dr. Kam, who in my last (and final visit, as I will not be back to see her), told me not to come back. Now, this would be understandable if I had been rude or unkind to her in any way. This was absolutely not the case. I have always always been exceptionally kind and always am to all doctors (they are prescribing treatment for my health and don't want that to go awry, so I make a special point of being extra nice). I only asked questions, not an excessive amount. She got upset at the end of the appointment and said "you are making me mad." This is so extremely unprofessional. I was so shocked. Please save your time and money and go somewhere where questions are encouraged and where you will be treated with kindness. I came to Dr. Kam after being prescribed something by another doctor (an M.D.) which made me very sick, so I am cautious of what I take. Dr. Kam knows this as she treated me afterwards. This last appointment, I came to her in an urgent health crisis and was in tears afterwards due to her complete disrespect. I saw Dr. DeVille the next day at Naturecure, asked just as many questions and was treated with the utmost respect. She always asks if there are any other questions and doesn't make me feel like I'm annoying her or there is something wrong with me for asking. Go to Dr. Lauren DeVille or any of the doctors at Blue Oak Clinic instead. A doctor should never be so rude and disrespectful to a patient, especially when they are just asking questions. Dr. Kam is not understanding or accepting of those with anxiety. So, if you have any, or are unwilling to just take supplements without first asking about potential side effects, you should go elsewhere. Seriously, just simple questions. I went in with classic symptoms of pernicious anemia (severe ataxia, neuropathy in legs, hands, feet; brain fog,) and was told, literally and quote, "This is not a medical problem" because it was totally ignorant of the fact that when someone is supplementing B12 but NOT absorbing it, it will show up in the serum, with a false high B12 "result." I eventually tested intrinsic factor antibodies myself (independent lab test) and found out they were high. High intrinsic factor antibodies result is diagnostic for pernicious anemia. I now have permanent neurological damage from lack of treatment. I now inject B12, which is what the condition requires. So -- if you have a condition that can't be fixed with supplements, don't go here.

We are seniors in our 80's. We have learned since from a trusted chiropractor that drop tables are typically not used with seniors with degenerative discs, as the "quick thrust" can be damaging. Evidently Dr Kenworthy didn't read the extensive forms we filled out, which included degenerative disc. Medicare was billed $58 for the 5 minutes on the table.
