Going back to what was once a great gym has been very disappointing!…read more * Jacuzzi is consistently cold and unpleasant. * Shower water is always cold * Floors are frequently flooded with standing water * Bathrooms have leaks, strong odors, and unsanitary conditions * Broken doors and damaged toilet seats * Towels are old, discolored, and unhygienic I gave three stars only because the equipment is good and the classes are well-managed and run smoothly. I hope these issues are addressed soon. If not, I will be forced to cancel my membership.

They also have swim team after work and school hours so you are sharing a pool with toms of young kids. It's dirty in bathrooms, the sinks are always dirty, all bathroom floors are wet, and showers are covered in hair. Disgusting! their cleaning people pass over issues rather than handling. Not to mention the fact weights are always missing and we have basketball courts making it so loud your noise cancelling headphones still won't block it out. You also can't get through to equipment unless you cross behind the courts so hopefully you can catch a ball. Also pretty sure the AC doesn't work at all. The one good part is the GM there is always kind but their upper management seriously needs to fix these issues or just close the gym at this point. It's embarrassing

Solidcore Mosaic is such a great studio! The classes are consistently challenging--expect to shake,…read moresweat, and feel muscles you didn't know you had. The coaches are super encouraging and do a great job guiding you through the slow, controlled movements that make Solidcore so effective. The Mosaic location is also a huge plus. There's ample parking in the garage, and it's free for a few hours, which makes getting in and out stress-free. After class, you're right in the heart of Mosaic District with tons of great spots to grab a smoothie, coffee, or a full meal--perfect for a post-workout reward. Highly recommend this location for both the workout and the convenient, lively atmosphere around it!

I love the coaches in the Mosaic location (I haven't been to other locations). I am a total beginner to pilates-like classes and the reformer machine. I took ~3 foundation classes to get started and I felt like the instructors were all so great at helping me improve my form to get the best workout possible. I feel pushed but not shamed into challenging myself. They sell towels and water if you happen to forget to bring either. I feel like a sweat a mild-moderate amount and I don't think a towel is absolutely necessary. Water is probably a good idea - but the class is pretty fast-paced so not a ton of time for water breaks anyway. Now that I'm hooked, I typically do ~2 classes/week. I like the early AM classes (but they fill up fast!). I feel like this gym is clean and compact. I get exactly what I need out of it. There aren't showers so plan accordingly if you have plans afterwards (it's a good sweat!) I like their Public Goods toiletries and have even bought some myself after using them at this gym. Awesome location, awesome coaches, and awesome workout :)!

I don't know why people complain about how "maze"-like the place is. Kinda ironic that these…read moreGYM-goers don't like stairs and walking hallways and it is not like you actually get lost or something. I have been a member almost a year now and I come here pretty much everyday, never had an actual issue. If there is an AC issue, or water temperature at the pool, "things breaking" can happen at almost every business, they are immediately taken care of. Awesome crew, on point cleanliness, actively renovating older spots, bathrooms, lockerrooms, etc - i have personally witnessed all of these in the past year. As for parking, of course, in the middle of McLean, at peak hours any business is going to have limited parking. This is common sense. Besides the peak hours, there is always space to park. One thing I would suggest tho, is to open up the pool registration hours to earlier hours as well, like 5am when the gym opens. I cant register for sooner than 7:15. Other then that, keep up the good work!

This place had such high reviews, I was excited to join the gym…read more 1. Front desk: very nice people, professional, easy to talk with and helpful. 2. However, the facility itself was in dire need of renovation. - pool: covered outdoor pool that works as indoor pool during colder months, but the condensation is much, you can't see anything. (See pic) - it is like a maze: hard to navigate easily and it reminds you of your public school set up - group classes itself were nice, but the AC AND the fans on the ceiling don't work, so imagine how hot it gets.. like 77 on my group class day. It was so uncomfortable. - if you need tennis or other courts: this is your best bet! They have so many tennis and other sport courts. So choose this location if you like tennis, squash etc. not a good fit for those who just wanna workout in group classes or swim in comfort. $90 a month plus $100 or so for initiation fee. 3. Indoor cafe available 4. Parking is a nightmare. Such a small lot for the number of people it serves. Those who live in McLean should just walk there. Then the walk itself will your workout!

I'm the type of person that likes to try everything twice before to make sure that I really like…read moreit, but after taking a free trial class at OrangeTheory Fitness, I went ahead and signed up when class was done! There are several package options to choose from, such as 4 classes/month, 8 classes/month, unlimited, 5 to 10 class packages, and drop-ins. You can also take classes at other studios as well! (You'll have to pay an additional amount for studios that are in the city, such as DC or NYC) The class itself is a full body workout that's completed in about 55 minutes (sometimes less or more). Everybody rotates through the water rowing machine, floor exercises (weights, TRX, bosu balls, and other equipment are included!), and treadmill. You also don't have to necessarily run/jog throughout the whole time on the treadmill because there's also a power walking option on a high incline. Sure, I could join a gym and do this type of workout there, but I feel so much more inspired to workout with good music, an encouraging coach, and to workout with a group of motivated people. There are wrist and chest bands available for rental (free for your first class) for $5/class or for purchase for about $90. I loved being able to watch my heart rate/calorie burn/percentages in each colored "zone" from the TV screen, which made it a motivating factor for me to keep pushing. I've had a pleasant experience with the front desk and the coaches. They make the effort to remember you and they're very friendly when it comes to any questions or concerns that we've had. P.S. Park the parking garage adjacent to the District Taco parking lot! There's retail parking for up to 3 hours.
