This is a wonderful father and son business with a good team of experienced roofers who have worked with them for a long time. They have an A+ rating at the BBB, too. Just through extremely, very good luck, Mike and Jake came by after that very bad hailstorm. They discovered holes in the large plastic roof air vents made by the hail and covered them at no charge for us. They took pictures of the roof and everything else, so we could see the damage to the shingles and vents and gutters. They worked tirelessly with our insurance company to see that we got what we needed when the insurance company wanted to leave off things like metal flashing, etc. etc. etc. The air conditioning heat pumps were badly damaged, too, and they got new ones covered as well. They repaired wood around the chimney, painted it and a few other things, got screens and gutters replaced and a few other small items. They also got the insurance company Adjuster to come out an unprecedented total of 4 times to review our claim! Just an honest family business that does very, very good work. They were always here for meetings and for work when they said, and stayed in touch with calls and emails. The house is greatly improved, and the shingles are top quality. Cleanup was very good, too. For years, I had issues with rats finding their way into my attic. After spending thousands with exterminators to kill the rats, I finally focused on figuring out how they were getting in instead. I contacted Greg with Action Roofing and who found where they were entering. In that process, Greg found that my metal roof had substantial hail damage. Jake and Action Roofing were recommended by a friend who is a realtor when I needed some work done on a roof leak. They came out and did a very professional job. In the course of their repairs, they uncovered further damage that needed to be fixed. They gave me a good price on the additional work and completed it in a very timely manner. While there, Jake also recommended that my house needed to be repainted in order to protect the wood siding. When I asked him to get a quote together, he was less expensive than other bids that I had previously received. As there work on the roof was excellent, I chose to have them do the painting. I was on a short timeline, and Jake's crew was able to meet the deadline easily, painting not only my house, but the decks, and re-staining the pool deck. USAA sent an inspector to my house, at my request, to take a look at damage to my roof. The inspector completed his report and the determination was no damage. I was shocked by this assessment, but let it go assuming they knew what they were doing. Jake stopped by one day and mentioned that my roof looked like it had some damage and asked for permission to take a look. I agreed, but told him that USAA had already come out and made their determination. Sure enough, Jake came down from the roof with dozens of pics of damage and we refiled the claim. Not only did I get a new roof, but we were able to get the pergola, gutters and AC replaced due to major hail damage. We received a letter in the mail regarding recent hail damage in our neighborhood in Georgetown and from our first call to their office, they took charge and made the process simple. Jacob was very professional, responsive and easy to work with. Our roof had some specialty trim features and damaged gutter screens which took more time and effort on Jacob's part to be sure it all got approved by the insurance company to be replaced. I had a great experience with Action Roofing. Taylor came out after a hail storm and did a free inspection of the roof and found enough damage to warrant replacement. They worked great with the insurance company and replaced the roof promptly and were very clean and courteous throughout the process. Taylor went above and beyond with his inspection and follow through. This is the second time I have used the company. Both for Hail claims. They are effective negotiators on your behalf with the insurance company. In both claims, with different insurance companies, the amounts were significantly increased by demonstrated needed repairs. Work crews were skilled and effective.
