As it transpired we two were the only ones scheduled for that shot run so the company offered to upgrade us to a 4 hour run including a steak BBQ at the end. We accepted. Our guide Brier was very knowledgeable and entertaining. With his expert boat piloting and the good luck of having four friendly raft mates the trip was a lot of fun for both of us. One note of caution, if you do decide to book a trip make sure you get the boat without the aluminum frame. It's a lot lighter to carry around the dam when you get there.

They picked us up at our rental house in Suncadia and took us down to the Cle Elum River. we split up into two groups and each got a ride. None of us had to paddle it was more of a float and there were some very small Rapids to go through that were more of a fun ride than scary. They also provided us with water guns so we could have a fun family duel. Along the way we saw a deer and some elk and a few baby ducks and our guide, Blake, was very knowledgeable about the area friendly and fun. They provided us with wine, beer and lots of fun and laughter for a great day on the river. The whole tour lasted about 3 hours from start to finish. They do different tours one is on the Cle Elum River and one is on the Yakima River I have done both and we liked the Cle Elum River better it's a lot faster and more fun.
