This would be a cool place to come if you're looking to find a gift for a kid, or to find something to do indoors on snowy winter nights. In addition to complete (compleat?) board games, the Gamester also sells board game parts. Missing a die or a Parcheesi game piece? Need a new one-minute sand timer for Boggle? Looking to find another colorful plastic choo-choo train to replace the one your little nephew swallowed out of the Monopoly Jr. game? They have all that stuff. Also a small selection of non-six-sided dice (d10, d20) for you role-playing dorks out there. They requested to take the critical pieces back to their shop so they could glue and screw the thing properly with clamps etc. They returned a few days later and finished the job perfectly. They were on time on both visits - which you don't find from a lot of indy guys. I would use them again and refer them to my friends!

I had placed the pool table with the help of my friends and family on a stack of mats in our carriage house with lots of room all around it, as we did not want to break it down to bring it into my home. As I said, the installation was perfect, but I was charged nearly full price for the breakdown and reassembly from the carriage house to the billiard room (60-70 feet) and subjected to their complaints about the pool table not being up on its legs. I had to leave early and my father remained with them, who reported an even more abrasive attitude towards him. One crew was wonderful, the other did it's job, but went out of its way to be mean since he was not working in ideal conditions (the table was not on it's own legs).

I was referred to D&L Billiards by a regional distributor when I was looking for a table for my new home, and D&L had a ton of great options on the floor that I could see in person and try out. Perhaps more impressively, they listened to what I was looking for and guided me to the table and accessories I didn't even know I wanted yet--and it was thousands less than the one I I walked in thinking I would buy. They didn't try to push me into paying for something I didn't need; they did they exact opposite, and a year later I absolutely love what they set me up with. They knew what they were talking about, they cared about what I wanted, and they didn't try and oversell me. I somehow spent thousands less than I expected to and got more than I had hoped for. Their install team was flawless, their follow-up and communication on my order was great, and I definitely got my money's worth. It was a long drive from the north side of Massachusetts, but it was absolutely worth it. The whole experience was a pleasure. I'd recommend them to anyone.

This place puts the credits needed on the tap pad lower down on the machine. I didn't realize that a machine could be 18 tokens, (all on a card by the way so you are less likely to keep track of how many tokens are left) at first. The small stuffed animals claw machines are 5,6, and 9 tokens to try. This place is way too expensive. We had a better experience and won more fun toys at the claw places in the Burlington Mall and The Mall of New Hampshire.
