The service manager/estimator was outstanding, he went out of his way to come to the house when he didn't have to after business hours to verify wire gauge and a few other items outside so to give me a quote for a new upgraded panel inside, and without being asked he took his own time to make a correction to my meter box on the outside of the house when he didn't have to do anything and could have charged me. Great guy and very honest. The electrician who come to the house to install the new upgraded panel/service showed up exactly on time, very respectful, very well-mannered and extremely talented at what he does. This job would have taken most a full day, he was bout 4/5 hours and extremely neat, very well organized and highly professional. Beautiful clean job when he was done. Outstanding electrician and just an all-around great guy. As well in the past they have had another electrician here a couple of times fixing items from previous folks before we bought this house. He again was another outstanding guy, highly professional, excellent electrician and again all-around great guy. I don't say this much, but I would recommend Rossman Electric to anyone for any size job. They are well and faired priced and very honest. This coming from a guy who worked on electrical most of his life and now is in a management role and no longer incensed or have the time. This is a 5-start company if you ask me. Thanks

Then the real show started: my wiring was "all wrong," the entire thing had to be ripped out and replaced -- oh, and wouldn't you know it, that's the part my warranty doesn't cover. But lucky me, he had his business card ready in case I wanted to pay him directly for the job. I threw him out of my house. Twenty minutes later a competent electrician from a different company walked in and had the actual answer in 15 minutes: one bad outlet. He swapped it. Everything works. Let that sink in. Two hours of "expert" work vs. fifteen minutes and a single outlet. He either has no business touching a panel, or he saw a homeowner he could scare into a fat rewiring job and tried to pocket the work himself. Maybe both. When I left a message for couple electric companies, explaining our situation, Perry Leitner (the owner of Leitner Electric) called me back in about 10 - 15 minutes. He was on another job site, but came after scheduled work to our house late afternoon, quickly identified the source of the problem and made temporary repair. It turned out that the outside cable was severely damaged by storms which resulted in the panel being rusty inside and one fuse socket was damaged. Our house is 58 years old, and we still had the original fuse panel. Next day (which was Friday) Perry sent me an invoice / job proposal with everything that had to be done itemized. The price was very reasonable. Monday morning at 7:30 AM Perry and his crew started working in our house and outside. Same day we had a brand new circuit breaker panel, new outside cable and new meter box. Perry and all his crew were very polite, professional responsive and caring. Not to mention that their work passed inspection with flying colors. Five stars all the way!

Perry has always been responsive, professional, and an overall great guy! I'd highly recommend him.read more
