We have taken my daughters to several activities over the years, from dance, soccer, etc. nothing compares to the professionalism and organization of this place. When we first got there i was surprised by how many kids were in such a small area. I thought there was no way they can organize this many kids and have high quality coaching. My daughter has been at Action Academy for a few months now and I can't say anything but amazing! My 4 year old takes class with Amy 2x a week and the progress is remarkable. We have been members of platinum for many years and we're very sad to see them close there doors. We were even more excited when we heard that they moved and reopened as a new place in town. The coaches seem really nice from the ones we have had classes with. It seems to get a little crowded and some classes are a little squished together. I also notice that certain areas could be cleaned more frequently. Overall, my kids have fun! read more

My girls have been coming to Action since they opened, they're both competitive gymnasts and love it here. Sue (owner) is so kind, she is always there to answer questions, listen to concerns etc. The coaches are great, parkour coaches included! Front desk staff are nice and welcoming. Action has a family environment, everyone gets a long well, and are always there for one another. You can book bday parties there as well. I want to give this five stars really badly. Everything about it is amazing. Brilliant idea. Moorpark needed this so much. But I have to say, I've been in three times and each time I was told by the person at the front desk that she was too busy to help me with a problem I had with registration/refund. As a small business owner in the past, I highly recommend adding another person at the front desk who can just help with customer issues while the other girl focuses on whatever she needs to do. My time is just as valuable as yours. The customer in front of you needs to be helped. Everything else can wait. read more

We started at Action about a year ago and have fallen completely in love! The owner Sue is so involved and anytime we talk to her she is caring and makes you feel like family! My daughters confidence in herself and as a gymnast has drastically grown and we thank Coach Emma for that! Coach Emma is caring, kind, encouraging and honestly the best coach! My daughter has been a member since the day Action opened. She had been at another place where the only options were basic entry-level classes or "my life has become gymnastics and I'm prepping for the Olympics" and neither was great. Action is amazing. Sue is amazing. The coaches are amazing (Emma, Caitlin, Tessa). My daughter has found the perfect balance. It's hard work and she can't phone it in, but she doesn't feel like it has taken over her life and she can still be a kid. Seriously, I can't speak highly enough about this place. I was booking a birthday party for my son and was told they would get back to me within a week with confirmation and the birthday invitations with the waiver information. I didn't hear back from anyone so after I week, I called everyday day, left messages and sent an email. My last message was PLEASE let me know if I need to make alternative birthday party arrangements. A week before the birthday party, they FINALLY called back to get my final head count?! I told them that no one got back to me that they could accommodate the party, no waivers were sent to me and my son didn't have a birthday party because all other venues were booked! The girl responded that she thought she called me back and was out of town. Why didn't the owner call me back with all the messages I left if the event coordinator was out? We will NOT be returning for classes or any activities here. read more

We started at Action after being guests at a birthday party and are so glad we did! Their classes run smoothly, and the coaches are attentive to the classes and kids. My child comes out of class happy and excited about what he learned and is often exhausted (in the best way). When I wanted to add a second class the front desk was very helpful and took the time to offer specific options to work around our busy schedule. Although Action is busy (you can actually park at The Alley across the street which is a win win), they do a great job keeping things clean, organized, and welcoming. We love this place! read more

We followed one of our beloved coaches to Action and couldn't be happier. The owner, Sue, has created a warm and loving environment. The three Xcel coaches are stellar-- guiding gymnastics in the most supportive ways. Costs and prices are transparent. The gym, though on the smaller side, is super modern. We are so happy With Action Academy! Our daughter started taking classes when they first opened. This place is so beautiful and clean from the moment you walk in. The staff is so wonderful and welcoming! Our daughter is quickly learning new skills and loves going to her weekly classes.
