Absolutely love this dance studio! My daughter has been attending class here since she was about 3 or 4 and is now 13 and we've had nothing but positive experiences! My son recently started as well with the boys hip hop class and is now on the competition team as well. He loves to dance and I feel so fortunate that there are a decent number of boys at the studio as it helps him to feel a lot more comfortable. My daughter and I have been dancing here since 2016. I've only become more fonder of this place and the staff. Pam, the owner, makes everyone feel important and valued. The teachers are all very knowledgeable in technique and choreography. So much potential for growth and challenge but without the caddy competition between the preteens and teens. This is a amazing dance studio, I have been dancing sense I was 3. I moved a lot growing up but dance was always apart of me. Moving into Moorpark I was looking at dancing right way. Came to find out about Pam Rossie Dance Ten from a friend. I drive to there studio and meet with Pam herself. She was so welcoming and showed us the whole place. They where getting ready for the fall classes. I get signed up for Tap, ballet, and tap. I love the pink tights and the shoes and the hours of dancing till the sun goes down. There was place for all the girls to change and a bathroom as well. Got homework, there is a place to sit down and get it done while on break. The teachers are amazing you can tell they want the best for each dancer. I ended up in the ER and with a broken collar bone from an accident at home the Doctor said that I needed surgery. That my dancing days where on hiatuses I came to dance class and my teacher asked what happened I was in tears telling what happen. All I wanted to do was dance in the show that I had worked so hard on. My teacher saw how much I wanted to be in it, so I was able to be in the dance pictures and to come to class and see them finished the dance. I was so thankful that I was able to still be apart of the dance and support my dance members. Over the years I took tap, ballet, jazz, hip-pop, and lyrical. The costumes are so exciting and the pictures are a great way to remember the friends and the dances. There are too shows the Holiday Christmas show and the June show. They let the Dads dance is the June show just like the kids. They have rehearse to learn the steps and they are apart of dress rehearse to and then they take to the stage. I has a graduation dance that I needed help choreographing ,we had the pleasure of working with Keri Pelletier she taught me a beautiful dance to a song that I has picked out. Pam choreographed a dance for us, with steps that we felt comfortable with, and we were SO glad we went to her! This dance studio is as good as it gets! My daughter started dancing at the age of 3. We danced at 2 other studios in those early years and then found our way to Pam Rossi's Dance Ten. The other studios where not a great fit because you felt like they didn't even know who you were. Once my daughter started at Pam Rossi's we knew it was different. The teachers and staff were so welcoming and know who every child is. My daughter has been able to learn ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. Her skill level has soared and her love for dance has flourished into a beautiful art. This year is her 3rd year on the competition team. She loves competing in both group dances and also a solo. It has taught her self-confidence and time management too because you have to be able to get your homework done and participate in all the weekly classes. One other thing that Pam does every year is put on a performance of the Nutcracker through the Moorpark Civic Ballet. The girls get to tryout for parts and dance in a real ballet every Christmas season. This has been a special part of our holidays and we will forever have these wonderful memories. The Nutcracker is performed at the Civic Arts Plaza so check it out this December. I would highly recommend this dance studio. read more
