I had a remote car starter installed in my car, and never realized how many other things they do there! I ended up getting my windows tinted while my starter was being installed. And the prices were great! The staff is friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about a wide variety of products and services. Please support this local business! read more

Bad Attitude Stopped in as I was having issues with my Speakers. Talked to Steve and he acted like a knew it. I asked him if he wanted to listen to it"I will but i know already what is wrong!"He said But he went out anyways. He told me it might be my amp was going. We went back into the store. When i went back out to leave, he had left my passenger door wide open. I left a $30 Deposit After I left my audio started working again. I was glad because he mentioned a lady who left there and fell in the parking lot His words disturbed me. "Lady learn to walk!" For someone like me who recently had knee surgery, I was not pleased with that He just rubbed me the wrong way I called a couple of days later and wanted to cancel. I got their voicemail and was told "We are busy with other customers, please leave a message." So I told him I was canceling my appointment. When I was prompted i pressed the correct button to leave my message and it was confirmed called me 5 minutes before my canceled appointment time. I mentioed that Ieft him a VM "Oh, I never heard it"! Steve said. So why have VM if you don't listen to it? Also if you walk on the sidewalk to go into the store. The walk has many big dips and it is full of potholes. Adding this so someone doesn't get hurt read more

James (owner), Steve, and Ethan are FANTASTIC!!!! Friendly, professional, thorough, and helpful. I highly recommend ACT Audio.

Walked in to get my car tinted and subwoofers installed, with no appointment. They were able to get both done by the next afternoon. They did an excellent job explaining the different packages they offered, without being pushy or trying to "oversell". They did an awesome job and I am extremely happy with the results and service! read more

Had a remote starter and keyless entry installed on my new truck it took all day but everything worked good. Until I hooked up my brand new snow plow and the hand controller didn't work. After a trip to the shop that installed the plow the tech found the power wire pulled out maybe an accident but the wire was coiled up nice and stuffed up under the dash not likely to use this shop again read more

I got a new car without a car starter, I went straight to act, it was a great experience!!

Had a great experience with ACT Audio. We brought our 2021 Polaris slingshot to them, looking to improve our sound quality. We ended up installing two speakers and an amp and we couldn't be happier with the end result. The sound quality has improved and the speakers are a lot louder than they used to be. The customer service is fantastic, the communication during the install was outstanding and they were able to answer all my questions clearly. I really feel like we got a great deal for the price we paid and I would highly recommend them to anybody looking to get some sound work done. read more

This place is great. Had a remote car starter installed and they were so knowledgeable. I had no idea how many different options there were and were not pushy. read more

These guys charged me over $800 to install a head unit, and when it was complete it sounded worse than when i gave it to them. There response "we need to tune it which could take over 12 hours". I called/saw 2 other pro shops in the area and both replied " that is outrageous". These guys not only did a poor job, but i decided to take the radio out and see there work. Not only did they NOT solder like they said many of the wires were crushed behind the head unit. Finger prints all over the windshield, dust and dirt form head unit installation etc., and the guy that actually installed my unit was SO HIGH he couldn't even hold a conversation. Stay away form this place. read more

From the moment I walked into ACT, I knew this was the place! I had read the great reviews and they did not disappoint. Daniel knew exactly what I needed and wanted based on what I had told him. Adam did the install and as soon as he took me to my car to hear the new stereo, I couldn't stop smiling. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much! He spent nearly an hour with me to get the sound exactly as I wanted it. These men are absolute professionals and they are so passionate about what they do. That makes all the difference. Anyone looking for a new stereo or anything else they offer should absolutely go to ACT! read more

I took my car in because the stereo was not working. They said it could not be fixed. They noted the wiring was not installed correctly and said they could fix it. It had to be rerouted through the fire wall. They were also asked to check my reception. They could find the problem. I had make an appointment for the wiring. I prepaid, that day. It was 203.00. They informed me i needed a new stereo. The cost was 253.00 installed. Picked up my car. Charged 353.00, and no reception, still. When I picked my car up, they forgot to reconnect my power for the convertible. When they checked the fuses under the hood, they left the cover off and slammed the hood shut on it. I took matters into my own hands. The only problem was it needed a new a new antenna. I fixed the problem for 20.00. The old stereo they claimed didn't work, does. During all this I asked for a cost for a back up cam seeing that the stereo came with a hook up for it. They quoted me 150.00 for the cam and 130.00 installation. I bought a cam on Amazon for 30.00 and did it myself. Act Audio is the perfect name. They ACT like they know what they're doing. Don't. Use anyone else read more

I drove out of my way to ACT Audio because they have a better reputation than the place closer to my home. I was really impressed. Adam answered all my questions with zero sales pressure. As I was waiting while they installed my radio, I watched Adam provide excellent service to several other customers, even fixing a problem at no charge for one customer although Adam hadn't caused the problem. When my installation was complete, Adam walked out to my car with me, showed me how my new unit works, and made sure all my questions were answered. I wish all shopping experiences were as good as this. read more

I have purchased car starters and stereo equipment for my personal vehicles from ACT Audio over the past 6 years, and they always do a great job. That's why, when I needed a back up camera and hands free phone system for our company van, I went straight to ACT Audio. Once again they came through. Within 2 days the new camera and hands free system were installed and working great. And they did it all with a smile! read more

We went to Act Audio because it had really great reviews, unlike some other places, and we wanted a reputable place to deal with when looking for subwoofers for my son's car for Christmas. Luckily for us, they are close by and I have to say that we were 100 percent satisfied!! Adam helped us from beginning to end and helped us figure out what we wanted and needed with absolutely no pressure at all. He came out and checked the car because we already had the wiring and he tested them to make sure they all worked and they did and he said that he could do the job that day which was great for us. We had a seat in the waiting area (which has a large TV) and he was able to install the amplifier and hook everything up in a very reasonable amount of time and showed us how everything worked. He even gave us some money back at the end because as he was doing the job, he found some fuses that he didn't think we had because they were under the seats! He knows his stuff and I have to say that he was terrific in every way. I honestly can't say enough good things about him or the service in this review. I haven't run into a professional such as Adam for a very long time - it was a pleasure!! If I ever need any other work, such as an automatic car starter installed, which they do a lot of - I will definitely go there. Also, there were plenty of other employees working which kept everything running smoothly and everyone seemed to work very well together and they were busy. If you are looking for a place to do an honest, good job - and be happy with the result - this is the place!! read more

First where do I start. I will never use this place again, I now wish I went with my instincts and had Long Radio in Enfield do my install. This place was way better when it was Pirate Radio. Had my install on a Monday. For starters they put a stereo in my truck which had a defective display, when I called after I got home and talked to the installer all he could say was "Oh I didn't notice it", he then told me he would order a new one and come back on Friday and he would swap the unit out. I went back on Friday and he gave me a run around on how they discontinued that model and he was waiting to hear about a newer model replacement, In my opinion this should have warranted a call so I didn't have to waste time and gas going there. Finally the following Wednesday they call with my replacement, I went there and they swapped units. I then noticed one of the employees take the defective model and put it back in stock to be resold to the public, bad business model. Upon leaving the replacement was completely different than what I wanted and I was not happy with it, they should have checked to see if I wanted to stay with that model or go with a new one. They also for some reason put my truck in 4LO and I drove several miles trying to figure why my tuck was running oddly, they are lucky that damage was not done to my drive train. Also the previous Friday they told me if I didn't want to wait they would put the display model on the wall in, another bad business model. The only descent part of the experience was that the were honest on the price and refunded me $30. In my opinion either go to Long Radio in Enfield or do your homework and find a reputable dealer. Very poor experience. I have now given up on this because I don't want to sit there for an hour a third time while they install something different. read more
