I asked around and got a strong recommendation from a friend for Smart Move. I'm so glad I did. They helped us out, sourced all the parts we needed, and coordinated an inexpensive but very thorough repair. Steve and his team did great work quickly and at a fair price. They're friendly, helpful, and they're happy to discuss technical details with interested nerds like me. But more importantly, our house is very comfortable and we feel safe thanks to the thorough repairs Smart Move made. Thanks so much!

His staff are very professional and really nice to work with. We have an oversized 80 gallon water heater because of our Jaccuzi bathtub and they replaced it fast and perfectly. Our old furnace was in a tight space in the laundry room but Bob made it look so easy replacing it with the new one. They had to reroute some pipes and had no problem with it and made the area look like neat. Carlos also installed a Smart thermostat and we love it. We can control our house temperature while on vacation and have the peace of mind that everything is running as it should. And I know I mentioned the service calls but Carlos is very committed to them. We have had an issue at night that could've waited until the next day but Carlos insisted on coming out right away to take care of it. I am one that does my research and you can't beat the price of product and professional workmanship from this company. I could go on and on but hopefully this review will help someone get great service and have a comfortable house to enjoy.

Our neighbor recommended Mark Collins and his company. The store opened Monday at 7. I called at 7:15. Mark ( the owner) answered the phone. Owners answer the phone? I love it! He was very sympathetic to my needs. He apologized and said he couldn't get out there until 9:30 am that morning! That's a window of 2 hours! Dont apologize Mark- I'm beyond happy. Mark showed up as promised and gave a quote for a new unit. He wasn't pushy and he didn't try to oversell us with a larger more expensive unit. He left pamphlets of models for us to look at. We called Mark back that afternoon- we decided to have him install the new AC unit. Again, he was apologetic. He wishes that he could install it that day- but couldn't. Instead, he could install it the next day- Tuesday. He said he carried that unit in stock. As promised, Mark and another man showed up on time in a company van. They removed the old unit and installed the new one in a timely fashion. He went over all of the features of the unit and showed me what he removed and replaced. They were quiet and neat and didn't leave a mess. We turned on the AC unit and we had Air conditioning. The unit is purring like a champ! A few days later, we get a "thank you card" in the mail from Mark and Collins Heating and cooling! Who sends out thank you cards anymore.... Collins heating and cooling does! This is a very small personable company that can tend to all of your needs- night or day. When our furnace goes out- Mark will be replacing that unit too!

The other company told me I needed a new compressor for $1699 and they took only cash. After a repairman ran off with $453 of my aunt's cash, I decided I did not feel comfortable giving the HVAC repairman $2000 (with labor) in cash. So, I told him I would seek a second opinion. I called STI Heating & Cooling who were booked for the week so I made an appointment for the following week. Ted arrived on time and was very professional. He took a look at my unit (which is 42 years old) and told me I needed a Hard Start Capacitor for $173. He also checked the amount of Freon (R22) told me I might need a little. He installed the capacitor and added a little Freon and my unit start blowing extremely cold air. Ted's work was great! I told Ted the other repairman thought I needed a new compressor and Ted suggested maybe the other repairman was not familiar with older units like mine. I am SO glad I called STI Heating & Cooling!
