With one phone call I was able to solve the two biggest problems with owning a tankless water heater. First problem is knowing who to call to service it and the next problem was no immediate hot water. Thanks to L&H services and Eric Pyle both of those problems are solved. Eric showed up on time did everything he was supposed to and then some. Very knowledgeable , courteous ,friendly and just made you feel comfortable with his professionalism .My unit was installed ( by a different company when the house was built a year ago ) without ever being set up . So Eric set it up the way it is supposed to be . Now I have hot water instantly. The circulating pump feature on my tankless water heater was never functioning. He also raised the temperature of the water, which the original installing plumber didn't know how to do ! On top of that he did a descale & annual filter cleaning etc. I feel very confident in the work he performed. He also cleaned the igniter and checked the unit out thoroughly . I do think the office should quote these jobs a little bit higher so Eric has time to perform the amount of work necessary. There was a slight charge over what I was quoted but it was well worth the price considering everything he did ! I will have them back every year to perform that service. And will be contracting them to do more work in the future like heating and air-conditioning annual maintenance. Again I am very satisfied with L&H services and Eric the technician. Hope to have a continued long relationship with this company. Thank you guys !!! read more

I have used L & H for close to 20 years. Their whole team gives excellent service at a more than reasonable price. They are always always on spot with time of arrival for services. In the event they are going to be delayed, they contact us with and explanation and updated time of arrival. (a delay in arrival rarely has occurred) Eric was there for most of our service calls. He has always been professional, polite, and thorough in his evaluations of our furnace issues. I would recommend Eric and the other L & H team members above any other similar business in the area. Prior to L & H I used other HVAC services that performed not needed repairs at prices that (I discovered later) were four to five times the industry prices. Eric's professional services and honesty have been consistently above reproach. I always recommend L & H Services to anyone asking. read more

The owner and all his employees were above professionals. I had a large project (A/C, boiler heat modification, attic seal & insulation) done. They were at my house three days. I wanted the A/C installed in the ceiling and had other contractors flat out tell me no! Mike and his team were very thorough on options of what I can do. I am a very particular person and any issue I had was resolved quickly and to or above my standards. When dealing with contractors I am usually ready for a fight thinking I did not get what I paid for. This was not the case with L & H. They went above and beyond my expectations. If I had to pick one employee Eric topped the charts. Perfection was not good enough for him. They have a customer for life!!!! read more

Navien specialist Eric P. inherited a mess, when I called him to troubleshoot a new Navien combi-bolier that had been incorrectly installed. I would not go back to the original installers who installed it wrong to begin with.) It took two visits, one to do a temporary fix and figure out the main problem- the PVC piping was pitched incorrectly, and the unit was going into overdrive trying compensate. The final visit of reroute the wiring and pipes, fixed everything. Office staff is very nice, also. Never could reach the original installer without multiple phonecalls. Am relieved to have the system installed and running properly. read more

We had some major issues in our new home - miswired thermostats, one that had shorted out, mislabled terminals and heat was out entirely in 1/3 of the house. L & H (Bill J) was out to our home immediately, he thoroughly reviewed the entire system, gave us detailed information about the issues and was very consultative in explaining the solution. As part of the repairs, we also needed to replace two parts, from an aged manufacturer, and Bill showed excellent sense-of-urgency to run down the two parts and get them installed ASAP. I highly recommend L & H for your Heating and Air Conditioning needs! read more

L & H Services provides the most professional, honest HVAC services my company & I have ever used. I have had Eric and Bill perform diagnostics and repairs at my residence and apartment buildings. They are always right there when help is needed. They offer no B.S. by trying to sell you something you don not need. Eric has been to my building several times this year for different problems. he is always personable, thorough is his assessments of the issues, and on time. I would recommend L & H and their team (in the office and outside) to everyone for all of their services. read more

My L&H service tech Bill J. showed up first thing this morning early in the allotted time window. He was both friendly and courteous as I showed him my furnace area. He did a very thorough inspection, and showed me one minor concern that could develop into a future problem. He gave me a detailed written copy of the work he had done, as well as the recommendations. He took the time to talk to me about furnace age, etc. and thanked me for hiring L&H Services. I am very satisfied with today's service, and would highly recommend them. Dan O. Beecher, IL read more

Thank you Eric for squeezing me into your schedule last night to get my AC working!! I appreciated the friendly attitude and informative information as to what was wrong with the unit and what you could do to get it going. Also took the time to explain to me how to do preventive maintenance. Never felt as if I was being "talked down" to as I have in the past with other companies. This is the way to keep business and get more by way of word of mouth. Will be using your twice a year maintenance service. Thanks again for your prompt, professional service!! read more

I have nothing but good things to say about Bill J. and this company. My heater was making a loud noise so I had to turn it off for the night, which was one of the coldest nights. In the morning my home was at 54 degrees. I called the company left a message, and they got to me right away and sent Bill over. A piece of paper was caught in the blower and that's all it was. Bill fixed the problem and cleaned it thoroughly. The company is also very reasonable. I would definitely use them again!!! Thank you Bill and to the rest of the team at L&H services. read more

What a pleasant service call. The young lady on the phone was so polite and she arranged for service on my A/C within a couple of hours from when I called. Eric was the service tech and the first thing he did was listen. He listened to me tell him what had been going on and asked questions which helped him figure out where to start. I hate it when a service tech just goes in and starts his/her own search and by the time they figure out the problem your bill is astronomical. With Eric, it was just the opposite. Thanks to L & H Services read more

Mike, Rory, Bill, Eric, and a couple others who helped throughout the installation of our new Geothermal system. The whole team was very knowledgeable and customer friendly in the fact that if I had a question they took time to answer and made sure I understood. They worked very well as a team helping each other and looking for the best approach to the install. From the first meeting with Mike there was a comfort level and that feeling remained throughout the install, they were conscientious of our home and schedule. read more

We have worked with L&H and Eric for over 10 years. Eric is very knowledgeable and he's great at what he does. When Eric is on the job you know your getting the best service available. We always get our issues resolved on the same day and know that Eric has done the repairs right. Thanks Eric! Sherry has been very helpful getting the guys out to the job sites when you need them and is a pleasure to talk with. I have only dealt recently with Sherry but, as far as I can tell she's an asset to the company! Thanks Sherry! read more

Eric performed my service call, to replace 3 pumps in my basement. I was impressed from the start with his friendliness and the extent to which he worried about keeping my home clean. He did a great job. After noticing a few fixes that would make things better, he installed all 3 pumps and left the area cleaner than when he arrived. This is the second time that Eric's been to my house, the other time was for HVAC help. Its nice to know if another need arises, I have a guy I can both respect and trust. read more

I had been having some issues with my tank less water heater. Not a lot of companies deal with them. L&H was great! They came twice once to diagnose and the second to cleanse and maintain the heater.
