The lamps worked but buzzed annoyingly and could not find anyone who knew what ballasts would fit and work correctly. I searched the internet for hours with no luck and began to think no one knew of, much less stocked, ballasts that could replace the original 65 to 75 year old magnetic ballasts. I decided to try City Lights in Phoenix. To my amazement, the City Light guys knew what would work and even told me the ballast case of the ballasts they stocked could be removed so the the ballasts would fit my fixture. They were reasonably priced and I ordered a set. They arrived in 2 days and looked well made and worked perfect. I'm set for another 65 to 75 years thanks to City lights. Don Larson

We hired Luxury Bath/Home Concepts because my stepfather was coming home from stroke rehabilitation…read moreand would be on hospice. We urgently needed a shower that he could safely be wheeled into. We were told they could complete the work the following week, which was a major reason we agreed to move forward. Instead, it was approximately three weeks before they even showed up. We were told the installation would take one day. It took two. When they told us the shower was finished, we immediately noticed an approximately one-inch chip on the front right side. I pointed it out, and Jason responded, "That small thing?" He filled it with putty, but the repair is very noticeable. The much bigger problem was that water poured out onto the bathroom floor every time the shower was used. There was no adequate barrier to keep the water inside the shower. After several calls, they agreed to come back and try to fix it. Jason installed a piece of rubber, but it did not solve the problem. We discussed installing a more substantial piece of material, approximately six inches tall or at least halfway up, to actually contain the water. That was never done. The bathroom floor continues to flood every time the shower is used. There were also repeated communication problems. We were given one set of expectations by the salesperson, but the result was different. We were told that delays were related to employees not communicating with each other, including communication between the warehouse manager and the installer about when parts arrived. We later learned that this work might have been available at no cost through the Veterans program, but approval would have taken approximately three to six months. Unfortunately, we did not have that much time because my stepfather was coming home for hospice care. Within a week, the new shower handle also broke off when the shower-head cord caught around it while I was trying to rinse soap from my eyes. To their credit, they did replace that part promptly. The most heartbreaking part is that this shower was purchased specifically because my stepfather was coming home from rehab for hospice care. After all the delays and problems, when they finally considered the job "finished," he passed away less than a week later. He never had the opportunity to use the shower that we had urgently arranged for him. We started this process believing that this company understood how important the situation was. Unfortunately, the experience was very different from what we were promised. We are still left with a shower that leaks water onto the bathroom floor every day and a repair that was never properly completed. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this company--especially anyone purchasing a shower for an elderly, disabled, or medically fragile family member--to ask very specific questions about water containment, installation timelines, exactly what will be done before signing a contract, and whether any Veterans program assistance is available if they have enough time to wait for approval.
