No one likes calling a locksmith. Always means something has gone wrong or you need changes that…read morewill likely be costly. We had to call one on a Sunday for a house lockout. Long story but let's just say there was immediate need to get in the house!!! (No, it's not what you think). Called Seth Green, the owner who said he could be there within 45 minutes. And he was! He started his magic right away and resolved the issue by drilling out a lock, replacing with a new cylinder keyed to existing key, and cleaned up the mess. It was a pleasure to talk with him as he worked. Such a nice, honest, and fair guy! For an emergency call on a Sunday I was expecting a very high price. I was shocked how reasonable he was. As he mentioned, it's his business, been doing it for a while, and likes to treat people fairly. I think he does just that. His card is in my stack of preferred vendors. Locked out of your RV or camper???…read more I found myself locked out of my camper at James Island County Park campground with phone, purse, camper and car keys, and EVERYTHING locked inside. Quite a predicament to be in! I was appreciative of Billy Reid, the owner of Coastal Lock & Safe, responding in a timely manner to quickly unlock the camper door without any harm done. He lives locally and is not farmed out by some company in Chicago or elsewhere to respond. The first three companies I called operate in this fashion. They responded by telling me they would have a technician in the area contact me. Three did and all seemed sketchy and very difficult to understand. They also could not assure me they would not simply drill the lock out. I'm glad I passed on them and found Billy Reid of Coastal Lock and Safe.
