Chicken Parmigiana
Jared C.

Inside is classy, modern, with a low light aesthetic, decently sized bar, and patio that overlooks a artificial lake. Service was pretty good, when I asked for additional bread I got, and there were no additional complications with ordering time or speed. The table shared two salads, and I got a chicken Parmesan, the smaller of the two available portions. The salad that I tried was a Caesar salad, which I thought was good. It's hard to screw up a Caesar salad, and I thought the dressing and Parmesan were both above average in flavor. That's improving the taste of the salad. The chicken Parm does not come with pasta, but the size of the chicken Parm makes up for the lack of side. The quality of the chicken was fantastic, and the quantity was more than sufficient. I thought that the chicken farmer was extremely solid, it's hard to find a good chicken Parm in Indianapolis so this definitely surpassed all of the chicken Parm I've had in Indy. Another important part of the meal is the bread that we had, it felt like it was homemade, and was truly one of the better breads that I've had from a restaurant. Small note, nothing wrong with it, but the Parmesan that they use is probably very authentic, because it is a bit sharper than what I've received at other restaurants. This restaurant has been a staple for my family for the past 1015 years, and it rightfully deserves its recognition based on the quality of the meal I had today

Italian food is one of my favorite. Restaurant did not disappoint just wish it had more variety. Like the music on the background and service was great.

Lovely place! Hidden in Weston, this place is a gem! My date and I dined in for a Sunday evening. We shared a delightful crispy margherita pizza! Fresh and delicious. We each ordered an entree, I had the meatballs with fresh in house made linguini and she the Lobster Ravioli. Easily a 8.8/10 hers and mine. Service was speedy and polite, checked upon often and when needed. We will be visiting more often!

Went for lunch on valentines's day, we sat outside . Nice ambiance . Our server quickly took our drink order and appetizer order . They came out with drinks and bread fairly quickly . They have grated Parmesan , vinegar and oil to dip the bread . Nice touch ! The calamari was fresh and well seasoned but wish it would also come with tartar sauce . I had the lasagna which was ok ... not fresh pasta , they say béchamel but felt more like a ricotta layer and too much sauce for my personal preference. My husband had the squid linguini with lobster and clams , he said it was delicious .

Acquolina hosted a surprise birthday party for my dad this weekend and it was a great event. 55 people comfortably fit on the large patio, seated in groups of 8-10 at large rounds or 6 tops. The tables were nicely set with comfortable chairs, cloth napkins, fresh baked bread and, upon request, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and Parmesan to mix for dipping. The meal was served family style by server, table to table, which ran extremely well. They also brought refills for wine and beer too. In the food, the fried calamari and the calamari arrabiata was great, especially with the bread to dip. The stuffed mushrooms was the surprise, being impressively delicious. The sole entree was so good, with a nice crust and light sauce, the eggplant Parmesan was ridiculously cheesy, and the penne alla vodka was so rich and flavorful. The veal had good flavor but I thought it was a little tough and overcooked. That was the inky thing that wasn't a home run. Seevers were friendly and attentive. Happy to answer questions and deftly handle any situation during service. It was a fantastic party thanks to the team here. Thank you!

Upon the advice of a local, but a stranger, I went to Acquolina for lunch. The advice turned out not to be very good. I had their Margarita pizza which was thin crust, crisp with mozzarella cheese and plum tomato. For me, the mozzarella as the only distinctive cheese proved to make it too gooey and bland in flavor. My companion had the Chicken Milanese which was well pounded, thin, nicely breaded and tasty. For being about the only patrons, service was slow and painfully inattentive. However, the place has a good décor and a decent ambiance about it.

This place has the best food in Weston. Perfect staff, perfect experience. This establishment is one of a kind and the way they treat you is beyond and above. The food is absolutely amazing and the staff is incredible. Hands down, there is no better place in Weston.

An Exceptional Bridal Shower Experience at Tarantella!…read more We recently celebrated my daughter's bridal shower at Tarantella, and the entire experience was absolutely exceptional! From the beautiful décor and elegant private room to the delicious food and outstanding service, everything far exceeded our expectations. The bride, our family, and every guest raved about the restaurant, the atmosphere, and the wonderful experience! A very special thank you to John, G, Cam, and Juan, who truly saved the day by helping us host this special occasion. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made our celebration unforgettable. If you're looking for a beautiful venue for a special occasion or simply want to enjoy a wonderful lunch or dinner, Tarantella is a must-visit! They truly know how to make their guests feel special. We politely asked to move since there were at least seven other empty tables available. They moved us... directly next to a door where wait staff constantly went in and out to the patio. After quite a wait, our server finally came over with a massive attitude that made the experience even worse. The food itself was just blah. We ordered the Chicken Roma and baked ziti. The "toasted bread" was basically bread smeared with seasoning, and neither entrée had much flavor or anything memorable about it. Overall, the service and atmosphere made us feel unwelcome from the moment we walked in.

I found my way in Weston this past Saturday evening the night before I was running a 10k. Bellini is an upscale casual Italian spot that as a bonus was also showing the Canes game (they have at least a couple of TVs around the bar. Service was real attentive, and the waiter funny with the football trash talk. I enjoyed a full course meal that ended up powering me through an 11 minute mile pace the next day. I started burrata salad, with plenty of fresh creamy mozzarella, tomato slices, and garnish of basil and balsamic glaze. Very delicious and very nicely presented! Of course there was complementary bread, oil, and balsamic for me to make my artistic foodie rohrshack test. A hearty plate of linguini with heavy bolognese (yes I had to go there!), with a portion size fit for a king or leftovers the next day. A sweet slice of strawberry Panna, cotta, or cream, jiggly, close my meal out. The restaurant is located close to I 75, and I would certainly make the drive back from Miami. I want to try some of the cocktails that I saw.

I ordered the pear ravioli and it was delicious, I finished the entire portion. We had octopus appetizer and a few other appetizers they ordered and they were all excellent. The portion looked equivalent to a small cereal bowl or bowl of soup. The price should've been half of what was advertised, or give double the portion. For the pasta, we also wanted whole wheat pasta, for dietary / medical purposes. We weren't told about any upcharge so when we saw it on the bill, there was an upcharge of $2. I get that sometimes swapping out ingredients cost more, but it would've been nice to have been told that or at least have it on the menu. I ordered a large pizza. Normally I like stretchy cheese on the pizza but with this one it just seemed I couldn't get anything to stay on the crust; it was a mess. It just felt kind of chewy. Overall, the pizza was okay. In terms of the ambiance, it's an old fashioned theme where there's limited lighting and mainly booths from floor to ceiling; with that, everything felt a bit cramped for me. One other thing to mention that I did notice was that outside of their restaurant they have a sign on the window that states they add a 3% fee if you pay with anything other than cash, so beware!

Everyone checked in on us plenty throughout the night. The house salad is OK, the pasta fagioli was tasty, the garlic rolls were obviously house made and plenty of fresh butter and garlic. The red sauce. THE RED SAUCE. Is amazing. My husband said he could drink it. So any dish you order with red sauce is guaranteed to be delicious. I recommend not veering from that. The chicken parm was very very good. The pasta Al a vodka was also good, tasty sauce. You can tell they take pride in their sauce. The only downside: the veal. I had to send it back, it was tough, gamey taste, and the breading was soggy. But they manager was kind and checked to get feedback in order to take it back to the chef. They refunded it without a problem. Would definitely come back. Great place!

It's a smallish restaurant but they also have seating outside. From what I understand they do have an area for private parties. We were seated and given our menus and told about the house specials. I ordered the taglioline cacio e pepe and my husband got the fettuccine meatballs. All the pastas in the restaurant are homemade and the one I ordered was prepared table side in a cheese wheel. I don't even know where to start except to say that this was so delicious and definitely one of the best Italian dishes I've ever had. The cheese sauce was so creamy and there was a slight taste of truffle in there. They ask you if you'd like pepper in it so I had them add a little bit to cut out some of the creaminess of the sauce. My husband's fettuccine was equally as delicious and I loved the meatballs and I'm usually not a person who likes restaurant made meatballs because I think mine are the best! For dessert we split a slice of tiramisu and it was very good. Sangria was very good as well. Mimmo, the owner and chef came over to say hello and to make sure we were enjoying our food and service. It was really nice chatting with him and I told him that we are definitely going to be repeat customers! It's not visible from the street so I'd suggest using your GPS there first time you go there unless you're familiar with the area.

We ordered the filet mignon and the chicken Parm with penne à la Vaca sauce I will say the steak was outstanding. I listed in my top three filet mignon that I've had. There is nothing I could say bad about it, and I did not expect this quality of steak from an Italian restaurant. The chicken Parm was an nice size portion and had great flavor with the penny à la sauce. The reason I did not give them five stars is because the pasta that came with it was way overcooked and not al dente. It did have a mushy texture. As for the chicken itself, it had great flavor however, the breading on it was kind of doughy like it had sat in the sauce for too long before it was brought to our table. We are definitely gonna return to this location as we really enjoyed ourselves.
