I've been longing for a yummy joint like this to pop up. Talk about manifestation. Get all the fixings your little heart desires. I love caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, and avocado on mine. The sweet potato fries are made to perfection. one of the best I've had in North Bay. They even have house-made pickled cucumbers and cauliflower. Ever since Hot Spot in downtown Cotati closed, I've been dying for a good new burger place here. I'm sorry if it's blasphemous to say, but I am NOT a fan of Superburger. They always get orders wrong and the burgers are no where near "Super". Anyway, once we saw Acme burger opening up next to Olivers, we got suuuuuper hopeful and couldn't wait to try! We noticed the signs and my bf and I decided to try this last week! We were very pleased! The burgers are very good, cooked well, and super juicy. I enjoy the acme sauce and the caramelized onions were ACTUALLY carmelized. I don't know how many times I order carmelized onions at other restaurants and they are only like.. slightly cooked. The fries were great and cooked perfectly, the only complaint we had, was that they were a tad on the salty side. A little lighter on the salt and the fries would have been perfect. I am obsessed with chili fries and was happy to see those on the menu, when I come back I will def get those. I hate to say anything about my L section secret. Not so secret anymore. Best vegan burger this side of Sea Ranch Lodge bar. This place is pretty new to Sonoma county but they are doing incredible things here. Their burgers are out of this world being stacked with toppings and with a nice thick patty. They don't skimp out and they have a nice selection of burgers making it hard to pick from how many sound good. I ended up starting with the acme burger and was very satisfied with it. We had a great first experience here. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the food was yummy! My husband had the grass fed burger, I had the fried chicken sandwich and we shared sweet potato fries. Portions are generous and drinks have free refills. The owner said they are planning kids nights and may be screening movies on the patio. We are glad to have a nice family friendly spot walking distance from our home. I really wanted to like this place, because I like to support locally owned business, and particularly those who carry local grass-fed meat. I ordered through yelp/grub hub. when I arrived I was told that order wasn't started yet because the online ordering doesn't work very well for yhem. So take note of that if you're like me and prefer online ordering to phone calls. I was on a tight schedule trying to buy my daughter food before picking her up at work, so I told him I couldn't wait and I'd be back in half and hour. When I arrived a half an hour later, the food was completely cold. My review on the food may have been higher if any of it had any warmth to it. But alas We got two cold burgers - one lettuce wrapped, a cold fried chicken sandwich and cold fries. My husband said his chicken sandwich was lacking flavor and was "the driest thing I've had in my mouth in a long time". My daughter said "eh" about her burger and only ate a few fries. She got caramelized onions and wiped them off saying they were not caramelized enough and had an odd flavor. My lettuce wrap had a taste to it that I didn't care for. Tasted like the meat wasn't fresh, and definitely wasn't seasoned well. I couldn't finish it. $38 for three sandwiches and two fries and drinks. That would've been good if any part of it had been delicious. However, mediocre all around. Disappointed and won't be going back. read more

About as good as it gets... or better? We've eaten here a few times and always leave excited about our little (or big) box of burgers and fries. I've always told people it's about the best burger I've had locally, but now wonder if it's the best burger I've ever had? Most recently we came here specifically because we ate such great burgers the day before that I decided we needed to do a Tour de Burgers of Sonoma County. I grabbed my go-to Sonoma Mountain single and loaded it up with a few of their high quality toppings such as the Pt. Reyes blue cheese, caramelized onions, Applewood smoked bacon and truffle butter. It was amazing as usual and made me question just how good that truffle burger I had the day before really was. Lol. They have a smaller menu, but that's because every item (I've had at least) is utterly amazing and carefully constructed. I can't say that I've tried anything but the burgers (unfortunately), but from what I've seen, smelled and read about, the other sandos such as the Willie Bird Turkey, Ahi Tuna, etc. all look amazing as well. I might even just head there today for the flash fries Bodega Bay Rock Cod I keep hearing so much about! Get your way overpriced way overrated burgers here or maybe the ahi sandwich which is tiny and way off the mark. Called in the food, Paid for the food, waited for the food. Then waited a extra 10 minutes because they forgot some of it which led to the rest of the food sitting under a heat lamp. The cooks were arguing about fixing the order even tho it was their error misreading the tags. Then instead of making the missing fries they just pulled half of one of the other orders fries and said it was good so we had two half orders of cold fries with our cold burgers. The WW2 themed signage and "art" is s tacky and the food was bad. Worst buns ever and it was like Denny's food, all bad. Huge waste of good money. Acme burger is the real deal. For a new business, it seems that they have things working like a well oiled machine! Service is fabulous. You order at the register and pick it up once it's ready. Generally pretty quick. They have beer and wine. Prices seem to be a little steep, but their ingredients are local and high quality. And the food! Wow. Packed with flavor! I got a bacon cheeseburger with avocado and it was delicious! My brother got the pork belly with coleslaw-- amazing. Burgers are a little small, but the quality makes up for it in a big way!!! Final thoughts: I love the patio as well, very relaxing, at home feel. Acme burger is a fresh addition to a somewhat stale food scene in Rohnert Park. Have been coming here since they opened, always fresh, tasty and fast. I will say I've noticed recently that their portions are significantly smaller than they used to be. I assume it's just part of what everyone is going through right now but the portions were a big attraction for us before. We still come here, we just end up ordering more food for the fam. Great burgers w/ quality beef done just right! They have a wide variety of sides (crispy tater tots w/soft flaky insides are my favorite) and a limited but delicious beer menu too. But what makes Acme stand out to me is their staff. I work in customer service and know what it takes to provide a good experience. Excellent first visit with husband and our infant. Husband had the cheeseburger and shoestring fries, and I had the arugula salad with grilled chicken. Both were excellent--juicy burger and moist chicken breast. Fries were crunchy which I adore. Excited to try the soft serve (so difficult to find anywhere other than the fairgrounds these days) when they get the machine up and running in late March. I can see myself walking or biking to this place with my daughter when she's older for an ice cream cone! Pleasantly surprised with (homemade) dill pickles at the condiment counter. About 5 beers on tap with a good variety of styles. They had a lovely looking butternut squash curry apple soup which sounded intriguing as well. I suspect soup flavors will be seasonal or will change often? We sat outside and enjoyed the garden. Not pleased that they offered throw away cups for dining in, as glasses would be the greener, more sustainable option. Hoping that will change!! I haven't had a burger this good since the last time I was at In-N-Out. Although more expensive in a little bit different this burger wins big. The food is exceptional and they give you a lot of delicious fries too. Medium price level makes this place nice to go on the weekends or occasionally when you don't feel like cooking for dinner on a weeknight. Had the acme double with pepper jack and onion rings. The burger was juicy, and the rings were crispy and light. I sat in the patio area, they have little signs on the tables letting you know that the table has been sanitized and you flip it when you are done to let them know and the next group coming in that it needs attention,something I haven't seen in many establishments offering "seat yourself patio dining". The employees were wearing masks and very friendly. I was on the clock so I couldn't partake but it looks like they have a nice selection of beer. I will definitely return(and hopefully partake) .
