Customer for 15 years- have tried to get through to talk to agents repeatedly over past months to resolve issues and waited over 15 minutes on hold. Unacceptable. Found I was being charged for both wireless and wired monitoring for years despite the fact I do not have a land line- told rep to discontinue after wireless installed, and they billed credit card at different times and took me that long to figure out. Couldn't get iPhone app to work and could never get appropriate solution from tech support. Extremely high service fee for 5 minute visit, billed more per hour than I do as an Anesthesiologist. Heard good reviews for another company and switched. And now informed as I called to cancel "your contract renewed" and will owe over $250. Oh, it auto renews. Seriously? After 15 years?? People, there are locally monitored systems that do NOT require a contract. Ackerman has gotten too big to care about the individual customer, as many companies often do. Owner sounds like a fine fellow in the ads but they're about as responsive as the IRS, and can separate you from your money with equal aplomb. Stay away, or check when your contract renews so they won't suck any more out of you after you wise up and switch. read more

Such a shame! The installation and monthly service for my security system was actually very good - the problem came when I moved. I let Ackerman know that I was moving and cancelling my service in early December, I even filled out their paperwork and returned it - it is May and I still have unresolved billing issues. First, they continued to bill me - it took 3 calls and 2 letters (one letter responding to a very threatening collection notification from Ackerman) to get that resolved. Then when I discovered that Jan-Feb-Mar payment had been automatically drafted and called for a refund - guess what - NONE of the previous calls or paperwork were correctly recorded. My cancellation notice - lost, the disconnect date - wrong. The woman I spoke with said she'd have to investigate it and get back to me - 2 weeks later and no return phone call - this is ABSURD. There are plenty of other security companies out there that have a goof product and actually understand customer service - choose one of those. read more

Do not use this company! 5 years ago we went with Ackerman for security and never had any issue. That is until we decided to talk to another company with more updated equipment. during this process we found ou that half the sensors did not work. So what was Ackerman monitoring. By the way at that time Akkermans equipment was disconnected not one call from Ackerman to let us no there was a problem. We decided to go with the other company and called Ackerman to cancel the contract that was a fiasco they wanted 800 to break the contract. So we said lets just finish the contract but wanted a service tech to check our system. We have got the run around from customer service , the sales rep( who by the way was more interested in trying to flirt and come onto the contract holder) , the senior service manager, the area manager and the owner of the company. They are disrespectful and talk down to you and want to blame the customer for their failure to take care of the customer. By the way did I mention the system they are supposed to be monitoring has been sitting on my dinig room table since August 2014, which they are aware of, yet they are still trying to bill me for. I have stopped payment to them until they fix and actually monitor something.. I have asked in writing and by email to correct my system or send me a final bill canceling the contract and here a surprise no response. Now they have the unmitigated gall to send me a notice that they are sending me to collections if I don't pay them more money then was originally quoted by them in writing to cancel. They should not even get one star. I called them per recommendation from my sister who uses them for both homes. A sales person was scheduled to come out to my home however she calls me on the morning at 9am and i had an appointment for 11am to tell me the monthly rate for the standard package was thirty something a month and i had to come up with $600.00 for the equipment. She told me this like you either take this or nothing can be offered to me. When i called the customer service line they told me that a supervisor would call me on that same day and no one d called me. I then called again and was told that someone would call me again no one called me back . However eight days later someone called me and by that time i had gone with another security company. What i see clearly here is that the sales people are very lazy and do not want to be bothered to make house calls . This is very unprofessional considering this company only has a market in Atlanta and the DC area. In my opinion i would not recommend them to anyone. Take your business elsewhere. The service tech arrived, he was not personable or customer service friendly. He proceeded to collect his equipment and supplies from his truck then placed them directly on my Haverty's dining room table! After completing installation, he quickly went through instructions to use the system. If I hadn't already been somewhat familiar with technology, I would've been lost on how to use it. Then he forgot to bring the fire detector unit for upstairs! So he had to return later that day for installation. He questioned me about locations for sensors & placement of units as though I should know the best place for installation. Finally, the phone app does not work 100% of the time, which concerns me regarding safety. I have called to report this and I was advised to re-sync phone app with the unit. As a new customer I'm concerned whether I made the right decision in selecting Ackerman as the security for my home and for my safety. read more

How many honest reviews have you read on the internet that mentions people by name. Makes you wonder why they need the good press... Ignore the reviews that mentions peoples names, and you are left with, well, a bunch of bad reviews. Beware of Ackerman Security. Although they do monitor well, they will try and sell you add-ons at very high prices. For instance, a panel that you can get over the internet for $95.00 they will chard $310, and then $170 per hour to install. Their "protection plan" is a joke. Check the fine print.. It does not cover wires or sensors... You wont find that out until you need it. Also want to leave them? You cant because your contract will autorenew, making leaving a costly experience. Check out their competitors, they dont require contracts and charge a lot less. read more

I have been with Ackerman since October 2013. This company has really irritated me. First of all I was not informed of me signing anything that states that I was involved in a three year contract with them and the only way I found this out was when I contacted them to come out to work on my alarm system and was then informed that it would cost $89.95 for them to come out and look at it. The document that I signed when I initially got the services set up was just a piece of paper that stated that the men went over with me how to operate the system and no where was it informed to me of a three year contract or a $89.95 charge for them servicing my alarm. Secondly it took an entire month to get them to come out to service my alarm system due to reps not returning my call and there being a 2 week wait. I called and called and left voicemail messages trying to setup for someone to come out to fix my alarm system that continued to go off every 5 minutes. I was informed about a week and a half that I could actually disconnect the alarm in order to get some rest. This was extremely stressful for me because not only am I pregnant but I have two children and one of them is a one year old. When I was finally able to get into contact with someone regarding the fixing of my alarm and informed them that I was not aware of the 89.95 charge they stated that the fee would be waived and that if anything after this one time went wrong with the alarm system then I would have to pay the 89.95. I let them know that was fine because by that time I just wanted it fixed since they were still deducting my monthly fee on an alarm system that was not operating in my home. I attempted to cancel the service however that's when I was hit with being informed if I did I would have to pay 700 bucks. However when the guy came out to work on the alarm, he noticed that the wire that connected to the alarm system was flat and that was why it was constantly going off. I asked him if the people that came to setup the alarm with ackerman should have noticed it, he stated yes because it was completely flat like a pancake. When he had replaced the wire he attempted to collect the fee and I informed him that I was informed that the fee would be waived due to me not being informed of the fee when I signed the contract. He stated that he was unaware of this and would have to contact his supervisor. He was unable to contact his supervisor however he scratched out the fee on my invoice and then I signed the invoice. He had stated that I did not seem like someone that would lie. Furthermore he contacted someone from the customer service and they had stated that there was to be no fee for the service being provided. I thanked him for his service. Weeks have gone by and now I am receiving notice that my alarm system is going to be shut off if payment is not received for the 89.95 in five days. I contact ackerman and am informed that nothing in there system have stated that there will be a waive of fee. Keep in mind that during the numerous of times I have had to be contacted by this company due to my alarm system going off every 5minutes have informed me that in the file they did notice that I did have a waive of the fee in my notes. So.... I contact ackerman and let them know that this is incorrect. The young man that I speak to tells me that he reviewed my file and according to the note and the documented invoice he has the service tech that came to the home noted that I did state to him that the service was free and that on the invoice they have I did not even sign the document. I let him know that I know I am not crazy and I know that I signed that document and that the tech scratched out the fee that was on the invoice. He stated that sometimes they have people that refuse to sign the invoice and I let him know that shouldn't it be customary for them to actually document this in their notes if a customer refuses to sign and he stated yes. I let him know that this should be some indication that I am telling the truth. I further let him know that I did not have 89.95 at the time that the service was provided and I being the person I am, would never have allowed for the man to come out to my home knowing that I did not have the money to pay the fee. I also let him know that if he looks in the notes (if they were actually documented in their properly) that upon me finding out that there was a fee I attempted to close my account however was informed of this bogus 700 dollar cancellation fee. Anyhow I have found my invoice and it states and shows exactly what I had informed the company of and I am just really disappointed with the services I have had from this company. As I stated earlier I am pregnant and along with the other stressors I have in my life, this situation seemed unnecessary and really showed me the lack of customer service that this company has. Where to begin. We have had Ackerman for a while now. I do not have specific dates right on hand. But about 6 mths ago I did something that should have turned the alarm on. It didn't go off. I called Ackerman and they said the system was dinging in all the time like it is suppose to do so there was nothing wrong. They have no record of this call. Jump to October 27, 2015 and the same thing happened. This time the alarm made a small beep noice like we just turned it on. But it did not turn the siren on and I believe it did not send a signal to Ackerman. Either way, it was not working properly. We called and a tech came out. He said that we had a lose wire and that it probably hadn't been working for a while. It still had been dinging in to Ackerman all the time just like before. So they were not seeing it as a problem. Now jump to Dec 9th. A distress alarm goes out from my house at around 1pm. They call me, my Aunt and the police. I am not at home. The police checked it out and it was fine. Ackerman says that they are going to send a tech out but not until Dec 17th. We called back and talked to them to try to get it earlier. At 1am on the 10th the silent alarm goes off again. My phone was on vibrate because it was 1am. So the call went to voice mail. I got a call from my father in law next and it woke me up. My husband and I tried for 30 mins, both calling and making several calls each due to being put on hold. The police came in my house and walked around, made my husband get his id out. All because Ackerman would not answer the phone. And since it was going out as a distress signal he had to check. I have phone records of all of this. When I finally did get in touch with Ackerman I asked them to take the calls off of the distress code because it was not working. I did not want the police, my family and friends and myself to keep getting calls for a malfunction. Needless to say it went off several more times on the tenth with them calling us every time it went off. We of course could not hear it. But they kept calling. My husband and I both made calls to Ackerman the week following this to see if they would come out quickier than the 17th. We talked to people and left messages. Repeatedly got told we would be called back by a manager. We also were told by several different people that actually the first distress call that went out was in October. We knew nothing about that call and the police were not called. ????? Yesterday morning at 9am I called Ackerman to ask if anyone was coming to my house. We had not been called and told anything about whether someone was coming to our house to work on this. And we had not taken off because of this. The Ackerman customer service said they knew nothing about it and they would have someone call me back. No phone call. However, the service tech did call at around 9:30 to let me know he would be there between 10-11:30. I called Ackerman because I could not be there. I have a list of people I was routed to on that call. And that is including being forwarded to random voice mails that I still have not gotten return calls from. I finally was given to Krystal and after several conversations was told that a service tech would come to my house on Friday, December 18th between 3-4:30. That is today. It is 4:47 and I have left a message with Krystal and I have heard nothing. I told several people yesterday that I wanted to cancel my service. I do not feel secure at all with Ackerman. Krystal informed me that I would be charged $498.00 for the cancellation. She also said that we were moving forward and that she could not change the way everything had been dropped in the past but that she was handling it and that it would be taken care of. She informed me that I just needed to let a service tech come and fix the service. And that everything would be fine. I explained to her that she could have to tech come to my house, I didn't have a choice. But that I was going to research my contract and see what my option were because I did not feel secure with Ackerman. I was very nice through all of these conversations. I was told that they were being very nice and waiving the $89 fee that they should be charging me. She also told me that her calling me back was a "complimentary customer service" call that basically she didn't have to do. (?) And at the very end of these conversations she stated that there wasn't a distress call sent out in October (2 other techs told me that on different days) and that her service manager says that someone at my house got into the program mode on the 9th and sent the service off. So now we are being blamed for this. She said they couldn't prove it. But that is what they think happened. So now I am leaving another message for Krystal as we speak. And Monday I get to research Ackerman to see after all these calls if I can get someone higher up to actually answer a call. read more

DO NOT GET ACKERMAN. I REPEAT. DO NOT GET ACKERMAN. I have Ackerman for 4 years now. My security pad was beeping and saying "battery is low." I called, and was told that it would cost at least $80 for someone to come and change it, and at least $50 for battery replacement. I realized that I actually wanted to change my alarm system. I called to figure out how to do so, and was told that I would be charged around $400 and something for cancellation, because I signed a 3 year contract. I asked when I sign the contract. They told me Nov 2009. I said three years makes it Nov 2012. We are now in Nov 2013. She told me that it automatically renews every year after the third year due to the contract I initially signed. I could not believe it. I asked for the manager, but was told the manager was busy. So this is how it works, you sign a 3 year contract, and in that contract it says that it automatically renews you every year without your knowledge. The only way that you can opt out of the contract is if you send in a written letter of cancellation, 60 days before the renew date. So in order for me to cancel, they will have to receive a cancellation letter on exactly August for a cancellation in November. I REPEAT AGAIN DO NOT GET ACKERMAN. You've been warned. Tons went wrong during my sales rep appointment to the install. I was given wrong information from sales rep and he told me my monitronic panel can be used. Guy came out to install and told me its not possible. I took off of work 4 times already for them to handle this and still nothing. Its three months later and no follow ups as promised and they want me to pay for a new panel. Why go with a company who can't get their service correct and wants to charge me for what others are giving for free. The manager Mike Collard was not helpful and wanted to charge me for more things like my fire alarm (when I was promised it would be free). Please do not go with this company if you are looking to secure your family and home. Remember, you get what you pay for. That is why they are 19.95. I was only looking for an apology and call back - that was too difficult. Oh and I am still being charged for service that was never installed - got to love it. read more

Let me say that initially all was good with Ackerman. They are more than eager to get your business. After signing on with them, I decided to get the wireless camera installed. Not only is the camera sub par, the salesman told me that the camera records locally. I find out that this was a flat out lie. Also, the technician had no knowledge of how the camera works. He installed it in a place where anyone could come by and knock it down. After speaking with the camera manufacturer, I realized that this camera tries to upload video. So it slows down your network considerably and the lag to upload video is more than enough time to disable or simply unplug it and no video is ever uploaded. After all this, they refused to give me a refund for the camera (even a day after it was installed). I wrote everyone in the company. I didn't even want the refund for the service visit, only the overpriced equipment that didn't work as advertised. They are the worst when it comes to customer service when money has to be refunded. I will never use Ackerman or any company that has a no return policy like this. Be aware. Their "local" company plug is BS. They are simply a typical corporation that uses any tactic to get your money. read more

I've had a horrible experience with this company. My alarm went off while I was on a trip. They call to alert me, get voicemail and then give up calling me for several hours. They don't call the police like they are supposed to because they say that there must be a registration with the local police on file. Unfortunately they never told me to get the registration but just kept taking my money, while knowing they can't actually call the police in an emergency. The police would not go to the residence based on an alarm without the alarm company calling. So I call Ackerman and beg them to please call the police and they refuse. So basically, despite paying for an alarm, I couldn't get anyone to actually check my house when the alarm went off. I had to get my 77 year old father in law to go. Turns out the alarm was disfunctional. Meanwhile, I spent a large portion of my vacation thinking that burglars were in my house. The customer service people were terribly rude. I'm cancelling. I call to cancel and they tell me I have a three year contract. I never authorized a three year contract. I specifically told them that I was only going to continue the contract I already had from a previous residence and then I would be month to month. Thankfully I've been paying by check and they don't have my credit card info so they can't autorenew me. read more

I had a rep out today to go over what system I had currently installed in home (equipment wise) and what I would need upgraded or installed if I went with Ackerman security. First of all the Rep James George was EXTREMELY help and informative and made sure to answer every and any question I had. He did a walk through of my home and gave me the jist of everything already installed and what specific functions they had. Thankfully, the previous tenant in my home had the security system installed (all updated) and left it when they moved, so it was a matter of me activating. I wasn't hesitant about the contract because I figured that I would always need security where ever I moved to. We did all my paperwork, set up expectations and I am working on a set date for them to come out (Saturdays are there busiest days). Over all it was a great experience and If you guys are looking for someone to walk you through this James is the guy to do it!! read more

My experience with Ackerman has been spectacular. After reading many negative reviews, I was nervous about using Ackerman, but the sales and technical persons I have dealt with have been very reliable and knowledgeable. Nell, my initial consultant, was very knowledgeable and recommended the most cost effective options. She was not pushy at all. My poor technician, Dan, was dealing with a hot mess when he arrived at my house. The previous owners had a combination wired and wireless system. Initially, we thought about half of the wired system was working, and we had no idea what we were working with. Dan was very patient and worked a miracle. He got all the wired equipment working and was very sensitive to cost. I had to ask for additional features, such as the app. He didn't push them on me at all. He spent a great deal of time with me explaining how the system works and was very patient. I am highly satisfied with the service I received. read more

Another fine job by our original sales rep from 2012, Peter Ian, in adding outdoor Honeywell security cameras on June 13th! Installation by Justin and his trainee was amazingly successful, given the difficult, tight, and multiple attic spaces they confronted to complete the wiring runs. Great job, Ackerman! The cameras and system have now been in over a month and have worked to specifications. NOTE: I'm sorry to see others posting with less than optimum experiences. I just know of my experience with Peter Ian, which has been sterling on both the 2012 and 2016 occasions. He's prompt, always accessible, extremely responsive, and knows his stuff inside and out. Additionally, and most importantly, our experience with the Ackerman Monitoring Station has been without fault in our four years with them. And, when we have inadvertently tripped the alarm, not five seconds has ever passed when the phone hasn't rung from them. That's why we went with Ackerman, and they have not disappointed. read more

I was very unhappy with the service I was provided. The technician had done a slopping job of installing my motion detector. He had hidden the wires underneath the carpet. Two years later, which was last week, we had our floors remodeled with wood flooring which left the wiring running across my living room floor from one end of the living room to the other. I called Ackerman & explained this to them. First they wanted to charge me an $89 service fee. I explained how it was not my fault the previous installer had done a sloppy job & hid the wires under the carpeting without my knowledge. The representative on the phone was kind enough to waive the fee. A week later a new serviceman came out, looked at the wiring & said there was nothing he could do. He suggested that I could purchase a wireless motion detector which costs $289. If I chose to accept the installation right now, he could sell it to me for $189. I did not accept it. Right now, I am paying a monthly service fee for Ackerman Security with only half of my system working. They then sent me an email asking how I liked my service. I responded with 'unhappy' and replied with the same that I am stating here. Their response to my email was to ask me to 'post my comments in Yelp'. So much for Customer Service. read more

Run, don't walk, from Ackerman Security. The purpose of having an alarm system is to help in the monitoring of your home. In order to do that it has to work! In less than a year I have had two major failures with their system. Its all about money with these folks. I have had several sytems and have never ever had the challenges with their competitors like I have with them. As soon as I get a replacement I will be terminating my contract and will not be looking back. When I expressed lack of confidence in their system they offered to give me two months free. When I said "no" because it was not about the money, but rather about the lack of trust in the quality of their systems, my call was escalated to another person. Who then called me and asked if they could "do something" to help to keep my business. What does that mean??? They offered to try something (never defined what that "something" was) to evaluate the system and then send out a tech based on what they found. Also, they said that it might not be the battery like I was initially told (by their automated notification call said). Which for me sounded what they were really saying was: we'll give to a reduction in your initial call fee to allow us to come out to see if we can find something larger and charge you more money for it. If trust is important to you both in the relability of product and honesty of how you are dealt with as a client choose another company. read more

Have been with Ackerman a long time. They replaced existing equipment in house or upgraded can't remember now so long ago, but they installed a keypad that apparently came out of a business somewhere and was programmed to go off daily not sure why? So I was receiving a daily alarm when I was at work. Started to get warnings from local police that I would get fined if this did not stop. Ackerman after numerous calls and visits said oops, sorry, the keypad we installed had a pre set alarm from previous owner. Really? Then just this year I noticed my bill went up from the 18.95 per month without notice. I called and they said and I quote " Oh, you don't want to pay the increased amount?" UH, NO! I said why would I do that when I know you are still advertising the 18.95 per month price. She said ok and they changed it back. I only use alarm system to let me know if my house has been compromised before I enter. Law enforcement are too far away to catch anyone breaking in. I actually think my 2 large dogs on the property do just as good a job! Cancelling contract to go with a full coverage company for security, internet and tv. Hope it works out! read more

We are in the process of selling our house, with a closing date of March 31. I called to cancel our policy last Friday and was informed that I would owe a $171 cancellation fee for the balance of our contract. I was never informed that the contract auto-renews and was told it was in the terms of the original contract, which we signed way back in 2008. We then heard that if we provide the real estate agent's name and number, Ackerman would let us out of the contract with no cancellation fee. When I called back to provide this information, they said they would hand me off to a "cancellation team," who would call and discuss my various options with me. After being loyal customers for 5.5 years, Ackerman is now trying to hold me hostage. I guess their business model is to try to wear you down to the point that you want to pay them $171 just to be done with them. I guess you get what you pay for. Activating our alarm system, I cancelled my appointment with ADT when I learned Ackerman would save me $17 per month. I had used them in college and had a good experience. I made the appointment for 8:00am and was told I would receive a confirmation email. Never got it. So at 8:10am I called just to make sure I was on the schedule for an appointment and not a window. She assured me it was an appointment. I waited until 9:15am and no one arrived. I called Ackerman to cancel the appointment. They placed me on hold to contact the technician for my appointment. When he got back on the line the phone rep asked if I would like to reschedule. I said "No" and that I didn't have a lot of confidence in them at this point. He then informed me that he was sorry, but the technician for my appointment informed him he had actually resigned from the company days ago but someone didn't do the paperwork. So basically they scheduled my appointment with someone who no longer worked for them. Now THAT made me laugh. I am about to call ADT and reschedule. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I have had the worst customer service experience with Ackerman than I ever have with any other company, which is definitely saying something since I have only had the service installed for 6 days. First of all, I found out three days after my services were installed that my cancellation period ended two days prior to the services even being installed. I have never heard of such a ridiculous policy before. Not to mention, something like that should be emphasized with signing the paper work. Yeah, yeah supposedly "cancellation of transaction" is written into the paper work, however maybe it should be put in bold or made to stand out in some way since the sales representatives surely are not doing their part to stress that point. Not to mention, this little detail is placed just above the signature line and when your sales representative basically signs right over it, it definitely doesn't stick out. So basically I was screwed before I even had the services. I wasn't told about that detail because that's definitely something that I would have remembered. As soon as I decided I wanted to cancel the services, I called the customer service number. Unfortunately, the retention department closes at 6pm. Since I had just had the services installed, I did not want to waste any time in finding out what I needed to do to cancel so I settled for the care line (who by the way could not have been less helpful if they tried.) the sales representatives over the phone don't even know the cancellation policies of the company they're selling the services for. How does that even make sense? I asked to be transferred to a manager, explaining I knew the manager could not cancel for me but that I needed to know right away the cancellation policy and how much it was going to be to cancel. I really wish I could remember the lady's name that I spoke to. This woman actually told me she couldn't stay on the phone with me while I searched my email for the contract so that she could point out where the cancellation policy was. If that was not bad enough, she kept repeating the same thing to me, stating she only did that because she didn't think I heard her. She was clearly being sarcastic because I had obviously acknowledged what she said all of times before. And this is the type of person managing these call centers. Horrible. A separate time on the call she said she had other important phone calls she needed to answer and that she could not help me. Why would I want to be with a company who cannot help me whenever I have an issue and am unhappy. I guess once you have the customer locked in to this three year contract there is no further reason to keep them happy, seeing that if they are unhappy enough to cancellation they will be paying about a $1000 cancellation fee. I asked this managed to transfer me to her supervisor and she refused. I asked for her supervisors email and she refused. All she would provide me with was a generic customer service email address. I was with Ackerman Security for 3 years; the system was purchased from Ackerman. In the first year the system malfunctioned which they sent me a bill for even though the Tech that came out told me that the particular system I had was defective and they were having lots of issue with them. In the beginning of year three, the system started sending out distressed signals on its own with the cops keep showing up for no reason. Tried to get them to send a Tech out, since it seem to be a software issue, but was told I would be charges $80+ just for them to show, so I fired them. Though I had no contract with Ackerman Security (or so I thought) I was promptly sent a bill for $200+ for termination fee and in the letter sent, they wasted no time in bullying me with collection action if they did not get their money. I was so happy to get ackerman and when i reached out to them because my system blanked out they started quoting me numbers and prices to send someone out. i had only had the system for 2 months why pay more money if i just had gotten it. i called my salesman demetrice hall who apologized and stated he would call me back on monday. I had yet to receive a call and that was back in may. I talked to a nice young lady who apologized for no one calling me back and that she would eliminate the fees and she would call me back the next day because i stated i went with another service provider. Unfortunately, she did not but after a couple if weeks i hadn't heard from anyone nor saw any bills. However, last month i got a bill from ackerman and i wondered wow how did this start again. So today i decided to call and all i got was transferred six times, yelled at told that my account has gotten transferred to collections... As of 7/21/2015 i had a balance of $57.90 and a statement to prove it but she stated that i basically was lying . I hung up called another person she basically repeated what Sheresa Hodge said because they were next to each other. But then she stated it was a clerical error they did send me a bill but now i have to pay $837 if i want to get out of collections. How? yes i have a contract fee but how did it jump from $28.95 to $837 in one day. I was willing to pay $150 today for what i owe and two months in advanced even though i was told that it was canceled. They told me it was nothing they could do and if i want to avoid collections to pay $837 with them. Honestly what has happened to customer service. My whole neighborhood is ackerman and i will be talking to them about this scenario to let them know what type of company they are dealing with. A company who has employees like Sheresa Hodges who tell me there isn't anything she can do, to deal with the collections agency and was just plain disrespectful. read more
