New to Murrieta and excited to not have HOA, we were unaware of the City's Municipal Codes for…read morelandscape boundaries and what homeowners are responsible for. Until we met one of the officers of the City's Code Enforcement Department (via notice/warning letters) for a quick tutorial of covering the landscape areas between the public right of way sidewalks, curbs, and gutters alongside our property line. Eager to fix what we have been unaware of for months, we reached out to several landscape companies and obtained several quotes... Wow!!! What it costs to look at an appealing yard and surrounding areas!! For a moment we appreciated HOA, just for a quick second... Considering our 3 quotes, Rock, Turf, and Landscape worked with changing up materials that our budget would appreciate. They scheduled us to meet our Code Enforcement deadline (yes, we got a fix-it ticket from the City!) and landscape crew were quick to prep, complete and clean up. We didn't want to deal with maintenance or monthly landscape and water bills, so we opted for a rock landscape as it was much cheaper than fake turf. With a few minor changes, Gus was knowledgable with material and explained why, what and how we would expect to maintain. While there were more permanent solutions, it will cost more when cosmetic designs on permanent landscape come to play. Working with our budget and offering options for our needs, we were pleased to opt for rock landscape as a best fit for us based on what we expected for the long-term. The crew were friendly, professional, and courteous, especially toward heavy foot-traffic as they worked on the sidewalk areas. They had to cease work twice to accommodate heavy foot traffic on a school day, however, they were done long before our deadline! Final inspection and a walkthrough with business owner before we closed out our project and paid off what we hope will be lasting investment (curb appeal and code enforcement friendly!). It was a pleasure working with Rock, Turf, and Landscape and would definitely seek their services again when in need!! I highly recommend them for your landscape needs!

He also charged a fair price and never tried to include hidden/extra fees we didn't agree on. I would highly recommend him.

The process was nothing but problems and the still in finished product is of poor quality with a heap of things that still need to be fixed. Our concrete had to be poured twice ( he charged us extra even tho it wasn't our fault) and still isn't right. We have cracks that showed up within 2 weeks. There was damage to the house when removing the concrete that wasn't repaired. Our lawn he put it is not flat, it has lumps and bumps. Things were done haphazardly and when I brought up issues he told me to stop managing his job. There was no one from Bella Park Landscaping in charge of making sure things were done correctly the first time and many things had to be done twice. So much is done poorly.... Our pool pebble finish has permanent stains because Carlos didn't check plumbing before pouring the deck and we had to have new inlets plumbed in after the deck was poured. The guys left dirt in the pool on the new finish which stained it. I could go on and on ..... bottom line, I would not recommend Bella Park to anyone.

I've seen and heard from many of my neighbors of the terrible job quality, contractors walking out without completing their jobs, or breaking contractual agreements. Couple of my neighbors went with lowest bidder and both ended up paying more to get the original work fixed and/or completed. So, we just recently purchased a home in one of the new communities in Spencer's Crossing in Murrieta. With a brand new home, comes the cool opportunity to design and create your own customized backyard. Due to the amount of investment to complete this type of project, we just wanted to make sure that not only the job gets done right the first time, but also find someone that will help us design and deliver a beautiful backyard. Enter Tony, owner of AM Custom Concrete & Design. He is equipped with both licenses C-8 (concrete) and C-27 (landscaping).
