My husband called them at 1:57pm. They called back at 2:02pm and the heat pump was fixed by 3:26pm. He first said that they would come by tomorrow (Friday) but then he asked my husband how old he was. When he told him that he was 82 the owner, James Riggins, said he would be right over! Super nice. Super knowledgeable. And very compassionate. I would call no one else EVER. These are the people that you want to do business with over and over again. Will recommend to everyone.

They have a Carrier HVAC system, which started giving them trouble. They live in near Athens, GA, I live in California. Mom called D & D to make a repair on their AC. They came out and told told my parents that they were placing a "band-aid" on their AC system, that it didn't need a repair. D & D charged them a ridiculous amount, 3 times what the other companies quoted. They were told D & D's price only after the "band-aid" repair had been done. One month later, mom's AC went completely out. This was on a Wednesday. My parents called every day through Friday and no one called them back. The heat was unbearable, my dad and mom were having a very difficult time breathing, getting around through the day and sleeping. Both my parents and myself left messages letting D & D know this. Still, no one would call us back. I started calling D & D (from California), trying to get a response. I placed many calls throughout the weekend. No one from D & D answered their phones (I called both advertised numbers), they didn't answer my email or call me back. Finally, on Monday, we contacted another HVAC company and they came to my parents (from another state!) to make the repair. They were wonderful and came very quickly. D & D finally called my parents back saying they were in their offices the whole time!!! Mom told them they would NEVER be called by her household again.
