On top of that, their guys are honest and explain everything clearly. I understand my system better now, and this past week when I had another problem, they explained all my options simply so that I could make an informed decision. Fair prices and they got to me fast both times I've had them out. These guys are the real deal. I'm calling them first for all my HVAC needs from here on out.

The services described in the provided service agreement were not done. the agreement says "Ductwork: Check for air leaks, and seal ducts." AND also " Insulation: Inspect and maintain insulation on ducts and refrigerant lines." These items were not done. When I called to talk about it the manager or whoever I talked to kept asking if I told him about a problem and That he looked at the ductwork at the inside unit. There is NO ductwork at the inside unit. There is a plenum which goes into the attic where the ductwork is. There was insulation missing on the chilled supply line from the exterior AC unit. That was not repaired. And he never looked at the ductwork at all and it was in need of repair. She kept arguing, talking over me! that he had done everything and that the ductwork was not included and saying he had done everything. So she just deleted the invoice.Now they can probably claim that this review is fake. It is not. They were very unpleasant

Using Yelp, and its star reviews, I selected family-owned Sandfield Air Systems. My wife and I are in our 80s and enjoying the quiet life of retirement. Brett was our service technician and after patiently listening to my telling him how to do his job, assured me our thermostat was not likely the problem, but just a symptom. He demonstrated how over time the system's humidity drain becomes blocked and in doing so, can trip it's overflow cutoff switch, thereby shutting the entire system down thereby avoiding flooding of the attic and everything below. Finally a technician that not only knows his business, but can educate customers about system operations well enough to minimize future occurrences. Equally important, he explained more about the functionality of our system and the optimum settings for ongoing creature comfort. Beautiful, I signed up for their semi-annual maintenance inspections and can now rest assured our home and it's largest mechanical system is in good hands. Thanks Brett, you did good. My tech was Ashton Hill. Seemed VERY knowledgeable about the Wi-Fi thermostat and it's settings. He went through it completely, as well as going into the crawlspace to inspect the air handler and the auxiliary heater. Everything is working now as it should. Thanks again Ashton! She was so friendly and helpful and made me feel secure asking a lot of questions. The second impression Allgood United Services made was by sending Marcus their technician to my house. Marcus was very professional, polite and extremely knowledgeable and I immediately knew that I had made the right decision to hire Allgood United Services. The final interaction was the install date when Marcus, Pierce, and Tanner came to my house, introduced themselves and were so respectful of my home and polite to me. I felt completely safe and confident having them in my home and knew that they were doing the best job for my house. I have been in the service industry for 32 plus years. I owned my own business and supported myself based on the work that I promised and produced. So, I am very in tune to great service and sincere quality and care by staff and employees. They scheduled me and in about few days technician showed up and installed updated "hard start" kit on my outside AC unit. Documents show AC unit is under warranty for 5 years, however I was billed by Allgood Unified 200$. After calling and explaining to customer service they agreed that it was under warranty and demanded that I pay labor and trip fee of 140$. After asking for explanation why factory unit needed updated part and why is it not covered by warranty, they could not give me a reason other than "parts go out". Person on the phone was upset after I was concerned as to why is warranty not covering defect after only 2 years of light use. Technician did do his job but Allgood Unified charged me for repair that should have been under warranty. I did not get a reason on why parts simply could not be replaced with another new part. They claimed manufacturer was not able to refund them for the part (or trip fee they charged me) and I was not able to find Allgood factory phone number or customer service info to Allgood AC unit. I do not recommend this business.

I made an appointment on a Friday through my warranty company and the service vendor they assigned couldn't come until the following Tuesday. August in Georgia is no joke. The vendor ended up not fixing anything on Tuesday, but added 2lbs of freon and left. No inspection, didn't check the furnace, didn't come in to check the vents, nothing. So on Wednesday, once the A/C went out again I followed up and made an another appointment, this time we were set for for Friday. The second tech the vendor sent tested the freon and saw that it was empty even though they had just added 2lbs 3 days ago. So the second tech did some test and started packing up. I asked what time he'd come back so that I could be home and he indicated the test takes 48-72 hours to determine where the leak is. I'm not a HVAC professional, but that sounded odd. Once the second tech left without attempting to fix anything, I started calling around and found R Tilery's website. I called to see if I could make an appointment and Ray himself picked up and said he could come later that afternoon. Wow, same day service, what a novel idea. You'd think if I told the vendor my warranty company used that other company's can make same day appointments it would make their heads explode. Ray showed up a few hours later, took the A/C unit apart quickly and inspected the inside and found oil in the bottom of the unit indicating a leak. He tested some gas in the line and we could hear the gas leaking from the unit. So it took Ray all of 15 minutes to do what two different techs could not do in two separate visits. Ray was great, I should have called him first. Don't be like me, call ray first. We will be calling him again if we are ever in need. Thanks Ray!

Not only that, but the cost was much less than I was expecting My AC system is about 22 years old so I fully expected to need at least a new compressor, but the technician replaced a capacitor and said I was back in business. He replaced a cartridge on the tub faucet. $88 for service call, $64.69 for labor, $350.29 for the plastic cartridge ($502.98 total). The same cartridge at Lowe's was $64 (even cheaper other places). I called for explanation and got an email response indicating a reduction in price of the cartridge by about $72 dollars making my bill $431.14. My response... Don't bother. I compared it to a painter (I am a retired teacher and work for Dasor Painting) charging a homeowner $350 for a gallon of paint. Could you imagine? His estimate was half of the other guys. He closed the valves on my AC unit so we wouldn't leak any more refrigerant so he would have to refill as much. The other company quoted 12 pounds and Eric only ended up adding 4 pounds. Eric completed the replacement, and testing if the new evaporator coil, cleaned up after himself all in about 3 hours. Needless to say, Dependable is now our Service Provider. Their annual service includes 2 inspections with cleaning and filter replacement. Highly recommend this family owned business.
