I asked multiple times if there was any way to confirm my insurance coverage before coming in, and they said that was not possible. When I arrived for my consultation, the person working the front desk was able to tell me that they did not take my insurance just from me providing the name of my insurance (which I had provided over the phone). I asked why they could not have told me this over the phone to spare me coming in for no reason, and the front desk person said "I don't know why the person who took your call didn't tell you that." I will say that everyone who I interacted with in person was nice and courteous, but I was frustrated that the person who took my call mislead me and wasted my time.

Beyond having a professional, friendly staff and an immaculate office, Dr. Halabi is just an obviously kind person. Being at his office feels a lot like walking into your cousin's house during Thanksgiving--everyone's super friendly (but professional) and you immediately feel welcomed each time. When wait times occurred, they were extremely minimal, and Dr. Halabi always made himself available to answer any questions I had about the process. I never told him that I have a low-key fear of dentists and orthodontists because it just never came up! I always felt like I was in good hands with the doctor and every tech. Lastly, the quality of the straightening was outstanding. I walked in with teeth looking a bit like broken piano keys and now I feel like they could be in a magazine. This wise woman who said this was me from the future talking to me now. For convenience of location and the smiling faces of the employees on their listing, I went with Parkside Dental. And pictures do not lie.* Everyone was professional and friendly. The receptionist was patient with me over the phone while I tried to open the gate. It was simple - just push. And upon arrival, I was checked in immediately to a clean, quiet, air-conditioned office. The friendliness of the team extended to the back of house as well. Once I got to the exam chair, there was more patience and friendly banter - among the staff members and with me. The dentist himself (forgive me for not remembering any names - I went a few weeks ago) was all smiles and patched the tooth I chipped a while back when I bit too hard on a mango slice and my tooth hit the fork. They ruined my smile and then ghosted me…read more This clinic is unprofessional and careless. I went in for Botox on my forehead and masseter. This is the same treatment I've had many times elsewhere with flawless results. The first round here didn't work at all. I went back for a touch-up, paid another $800. It still didn't work. I was told it was an issue with the botox. Despite paying essentially paying double, I decided to let that go and go get the third round of Botox. By the third round, my forehead was finally frozen - but my smile was destroyed. The left side now looks like I'm grimacing instead of smiling, and only with effort can I force it to look halfway normal. My natural smile is gone. I reached out with photos and a video showing the damage and specifically asked not to deal with the same injector who had already failed me twice. The very next day, he was the one who contacted me anyway. After I sent clear proof of the issue, the clinic disappeared and never responded. They took my money, botched my face, and ghosted me when I complained. Absolutely unacceptable - avoid this place at all costs.
