I decided to take the plunge during COVID-19 lockdown and am thrilled that I finally did. Beyond having a professional, friendly staff and an immaculate office, Dr. Halabi is just an obviously kind person. Being at his office feels a lot like walking into your cousin's house during Thanksgiving--everyone's super friendly (but professional) and you immediately feel welcomed each time. When wait times occurred, they were extremely minimal, and Dr. Halabi always made himself available to answer any questions I had about the process. I never told him that I have a low-key fear of dentists and orthodontists because it just never came up! I always felt like I was in good hands with the doctor and every tech. Lastly, the quality of the straightening was outstanding. I walked in with teeth looking a bit like broken piano keys and now I feel like they could be in a magazine. I simply can't recommend Dr. Halabi enough. Also, for parents out there, I repeatedly observed Dr. Halabi interacting with his teen patients, and his demeanor is every bit as on point as he is when dealing with adults. I went in for my appointment this past weekend and when I arrived the first thing to come out of the receptionist's mouth was: Receptionist: Hi, did you ever have braces before? Me: Yes Receptionist: When did you have braces? Me: a good 10 years ago when I was a teenager Receptionist: Oh ok. Well there's an $80 consultation fee if it's been five or more years since you've had braces. Me:... uh why didn't you tell me this on the phone? I was told it was a free consultation. Receptionist: **shrugs shoulders** Why is a free consultation provided for those who never had braces and an $80 fee charge for those who had braces? Why would having braces affect the price of a consultation? Why do you lie to people on the phone and mislead them to get them to come to your office? How does that help your business at the end of the day? Anyone who looking for any orthodontic care, do yourself a favor and don't come here. It's a complete bait and switch. So unprofessional and no integrity in providing quality service.
