An excellent experience from beginning to end. I'm in my 30s and had considered braces for years to work out some spacing issues. I decided to take the plunge during COVID-19 lockdown and am thrilled that I finally did. Beyond having a professional, friendly staff and an immaculate office, Dr. Halabi is just an obviously kind person. Being at his office feels a lot like walking into your cousin's house during Thanksgiving--everyone's super friendly (but professional) and you immediately feel welcomed each time. When wait times occurred, they were extremely minimal, and Dr. Halabi always made himself available to answer any questions I had about the process. I never told him that I have a low-key fear of dentists and orthodontists because it just never came up! I always felt like I was in good hands with the doctor and every tech. Lastly, the quality of the straightening was outstanding. I walked in with teeth looking a bit like broken piano keys and now I feel like they could be in a magazine. I simply can't recommend Dr. Halabi enough. Also, for parents out there, I repeatedly observed Dr. Halabi interacting with his teen patients, and his demeanor is every bit as on point as he is when dealing with adults. Experience from start till the end was top notch. I did research online about braces. And my first choice was Diamond Braces. Price was low and located near by. Once I get to their office for consultation it felt like they do everything to get you as customer. Workers trying to do as many procedures as possible at once. It felt like factory and lacking humanity. After I did not commit with them. They started calling me and tried to get me back. Then I tried Ortho Snap which located near me. Which is convenient. I kinda like it but there was not a doctor but assistant does all the job. That was kind weird. Third choice was Halabi Orthodontists. And once I get in to the office I was amazed how buetiful it is. All small deets: trains wondering around ceiling, ice cream fridge:), coffee machine, flowers and just nice decor. During my consultation I mention him about Ortho Snap but he categorically responded: "You do not have to take me but do not take Otho Snap, because it was not proven technology". And I really like this frank respond. Just for curiosity I just checked Ortho Snap and last review they had about 2 years ago. I had braces when I was in HS, but I always thought my ortho took them off early. As an adult, I really didn't want to go through wired braces again. I consulted with 5 dentist/orthodontists about getting Invisalign. After my consultation with Dr. Halabi, I knew my search was over. The key factors that won me over were his experience, his genuineness, and his reasonable pricing. He's an Invisalign premier provider, so he has worked on many cases. (Invisalign isn't cheap and I wasn't looking to be a guinea pig.) He understands what the limitations are and he's honest about them. And like I mentioned, Invisalign isn't cheap (I would be wary if the price seems too good to be true), but his price was competitive amongst those I consulted. Finally decided to get braces just 2 years shy of 30. The entire process --from getting my consultation to finally getting them off and handed retainers a week before my birthday -- was absolutely flawless. I am in the customer service industry and am routinely impressed by how warm and friendly everyone in the office is, it was such a pleasure visiting for each tightening session. One of my biggest gripes when visiting dentists are how poorly they treat their staff at times (especially when they're rude while working on your smile). So it was great to be surrounded by good energy in this office; Dr. Halabi is super nice to his staff and you can tell everyone is treated with the upmost respect. After trying a different local Orthodontist for my oldest daughter, I was very impressed at the difference in approach, technology, accommodation and service provided. So I have been bringing my second daughter here for a long time now and she has finally removed her braces. As you can see from my previous orthodontist review, there is a MAJOR difference. The other orthodontist claimed we would pay one price after an insurance co pay and thinking it would be cheaper than this Dr, we went with the other Dr. Big Mistake! it ended up being the same price. The only difference was that we needed to submit the invoice on our own to the insurance company. Big Deal! Not to mention, with the other orthodontist, if your 15 minutes late, they make you come back in another month! NOT HERE! The rooms here are very modern, they even had what looks like 3D imaging and the latest in technology. As frustrating as my second daughter was, he was still accommodating and friendly. I moved back to New York after living in California and New Jersey and was wearing braces from previous dentists for a year and half with no results before I found Dr. Halabi. I just finished the treatment with him and in one year my teeth are straight and wonderful. He took time to listen and recommend the best braces for my case (metal braces) instead of the previous transparent braces, he included all teeth (unlike previous orthodontists who said 2 teeth were too crooked and impossible to straighten). Everyone in the office is so friendly, polite, accommodating and treating you like family (which is not common in NYC). I work long hours and they always had an appointment for me later in the evening. They do braces for both adults and kids, so you won't feel weird being the only adult at an orthodontist's office. The office also looks very modern and civilized (again not common for South Brooklyn doctor's offices). They have a beautiful miniature train moving on a custom-made shelf on the walls and going through tunnels in every room during the winter holidays, computers for kids to play while waiting and a new pacman arcade table! This is simply a great and unique orthodontist office. My sister in law raved about Dr. Halabi and recommended that I take my kids there several years ago. Right from the start, I found Dr. Halabi to be very kind, knowledgeable, truly cares about his patients and loves what he does. The staff is super friendly and courteous. The office is very modern and hi-tech. I took three of my kids there for braces and now i can reflect back on our experience there and the results are wonderful. I can't say enough about how acommodating they are in terms of apointments. They also worked hard to get all the benefits from my Metlife insurance and made sure to tailor a payment plan that was flexible for me so I am not overwhelmed with paying for three kids in braces. We were new to NY and did not know anyone which is typically how I would start to find a health professional--through referrals from those I trust. However, I did an exhaustive search online and came up with 3 possible choices to interview. Our first appointment was with Dr. Halibi. After meeting Angela, the practice manager and then talking with Dr. Halibi extensively I cancelled the other two interviews and my daughter happily came on as a patient. Still, I was a bit nervous not having spoken with anyone else but I cannot stress enough how incredible Dr. Halibi and his team are. From the initial assessment to the treatment plan to execution--FLAWLESS! The office is spotless, the appointments timely, and the customer service is efficient and super friendly. Unfortunately we moved a few months after my daughter received her braces. If my daughter's academic and sports schedule had not been so hectic, we would have flown back and forth from Illinois to NY to keep her with Dr. Halibi. Dr. Halibi helped us find another orthodontist In our current city, talked with that doctor to ensure ongoing treatment that aligned with my daughter's current plan and stayed in touch with us afterwards to ensure all was well. He always made me feel comfortable and was always sure to make me well informed about my options. I went for a consultation yesterday at Dr. Eli Halabi, I have to say I was extremely impressed. The receptionist Angela is simply a doll! She is so friendly, she took the time to assist me over the phone while I got a bit lost and she was able to squeeze me in for a last minute appointment. The wait time for the doctor was maximum 2 minutes. After see the Orthodontist he took the time to show me around, explain to me the procedure and even advised me to get another opinion.
