This dentist office is horrible. The dentist will perform work that you do not need just to charge your insurance. He started my implants and told me I would need this done before my braces. When my orthodontist called him on speaker he told him , that he told me not to do it until after I got the braces. When I had no choice but to go back and make him finish the implants , he was super aggressive with me , that his assistant had to hold him back. I was only asking if he can finish the work he started. The front desk girls are always sweet that's the only good thing I can say about this office. read more

Horrifying experience. I came in need of an emergency root canal, and while I'm grateful to have been fit into the schedule at the last minute, I probably would have been better off dealing with the pain and going somewhere else. I am not an easy patient in the dentist's chair; I know that. I started getting upset pretty quickly, because I get extremely nervous at the dentist. But instead of giving me a chance to breath or trying to calm me down, the dentist barked at me to breath through my nose (which was very difficult to do while crying upside down). Eventually he just shouted at me to stop. I don't know if anyone's ever told you to 'stop crying!' when you were upset, but I can assure you it's not effective. As a nervous patient, I wish this dentist had been gentler, had spoken to me to explain what would happen or what to expect, and had not left me alone in the chair over and over, disappearing into another room to work on another patient, giving me no information. If you're scared of the dentist, don't go here. This one is not for you. read more

I should have known better.... The wait was ridiculously long. When it was finally my turn, the doctor was unapologetic, and brushed my concerns off. He lied to me by saying that I had no cavities, or anything to be concerned about. I asked him are you sure? He said" yeah yeah you are fine. a week later i began to experience the same issues with my teeth, and now i have to have a root canal, and multiple extractions! Sometimes the wait is long at Parkside Dental. I believe that this is because Dr. Anton accepts dental emergencies from time to time. This trade off is worth it to me, and let me explain why. I think Dr. Anton is honest about dental work, which can be rare to find in dentistry when doctors are looking to make some extra bucks off patients. I also think that Dr. Anton is very smart - he happened to go to the same dental school (SUNY stony brook) as a childhood friend of mine, so I know it is a top notch dentistry school. Dr. Anton replaced two of my veneers over the last year, and not only did he do an excellent job, and I love the way it looks, he ended up saving me money in the process. This wise woman who said this was me from the future talking to me now. For convenience of location and the smiling faces of the employees on their listing, I went with Parkside Dental. And pictures do not lie.* Everyone was professional and friendly. The receptionist was patient with me over the phone while I tried to open the gate. It was simple - just push. And upon arrival, I was checked in immediately to a clean, quiet, air-conditioned office. The friendliness of the team extended to the back of house as well. Once I got to the exam chair, there was more patience and friendly banter - among the staff members and with me. The dentist himself (forgive me for not remembering any names - I went a few weeks ago) was all smiles and patched the tooth I chipped a while back when I bit too hard on a mango slice and my tooth hit the fork. How will people know I love mango slices if I don't have the chipped tooth to prove it? I may have to put a mango emoji in my Instagram bio instead. And you know what? Turns out that's okay with me if it means I have more confidence in my smile. And I do. My teeth were whiter after the cleaning, too. I kept running my tongue over my teeth to revel in the way it glided over everything so smoothly. I was out in a pretty decent amount of time considering the work done, and felt really good about the place. They sent me home with an Oral B toothbrush (I may switch brands now) and a travel-size toothpaste. Delicious in its own way, like a free product should be. I rate this visit five tooth emojis! I don't know wth has taken place in this establishment. I had an regular check up and I got there 10 mins before my appointment. They placed me in the back and I had to wait a whole HOUR before I saw the dentist. I was falling asleep in the chair. Also I had another appointment that had to be cancelled due to the dentist running late. Also no one advised me he was running late, which is unprofessional. Finally, when he came to see me. He cleaned my teeth very abrasively and the hygienist kept sucking my lips with the tube . He gave me a 15 minutes cleaning. It was not pleasant due to having sensitive teeth and I told him about it, which it was basically dismissed. I guess because he was running late he was too busy to address it. I will no longer be returning to this establishment and this is honestly an observation, but doesn't a cleaning come with your teeth being flossed as well??? Avoid this dentist at all costs. They overbook and will have you wait at least two hours extra. I was scheduled to get an emergency root canal and needed approval paperwork sent to my insurance. I asked the receptionist to send on a Wednesday. I called back Friday to check the status and the approval paperwork was never sent! She then assured me she would be sure to send on Friday after we got off the phone. I called my insurance Monday and once again she did not send my insurance the information. (UNPROFESSIONAL)... Secondly, the dentist himself Anton Moskalenko has no bedside manor. He acts as if hes doing you a favor to do the dental work. When I inquired if they had IVs or laughing gas for my root canal procedure he was just plain rude. He told me they don't have laughing gas and to "go to another dental office that offers laughing gas so you can laugh all day if you want."I ended up going another place because they are disorganized, rude, and just want you to keep making numerous trips up there to try to collect money instead of doing the work all at once. I went in for a cleaning and filling, cleaning was rushed and I can still feel this mornings hash browns on my teeth, after the cleaning the DR. Said "okay we're all done".. completely forgetting we spoke about a filling, after reminding him he goes "okay if you want that today, I'm going to have to give you a needle".. as if he was trying to scare a 6 year old kid, I said it's fine. The doctor gave me the needle then said I have to wait for it to get numb, it was numb in less than 5 mins, on my way to the restroom I saw 2 other patients in 2 separate rooms, 1 waiting and 1 getting work done by the doctor. The doctor returned 20 mins later, rushed filling and I was out, no instructions, no questions, no goodie bag just "okay all done, don't forget your phone".
