I am certainly no artist but words don't seem like they would be that difficult for a professional tattoo artist, especially when a picture of what is requested is shown to the artists and a mockup that looks perfect is created.. I was wrong. I have been asked if it is my child's handwriting. Adding to the review since I don't see a way to respond to the helpful response that this received. Yes, I did pay for it with a generous tip. No, unfortunately, I have not contacted anyone as I assume there's no way it can be corrected. If there is a way to contact the owner, I would love to do so and explain my concern and remove this review. The artists were polite and courteous, so did not want to write a negative review but felt I needed to warn others. While a review like this might not be the best way to solve the issue of my dissatisfaction, I am a little bit embarrassed to contact anyone regarding it.

I know what I'm doing. 3 out of 3 piercings that I got here fell out bc the jewelry they gave me was either not good quality or not put in correctly. And when I call to ask them to replace a singular stud, they just tell me "things aren't free, sorry!" so I guess the first time I just paid for my ear to bleed. Cool. I should have known that cheap piercings mean cheap work and a cheap experience. Next time I'll pay more for a quality job and quality service.

I walk in and the whole place stunk like cigarettes. like they smoked inside. then the guy who pierced me announced to the whole store I was getting my nipples pierced. we get back there and the room is dirty, don't see any type of cleaner or just anything I normally see in a clean normal piercing shop. i sit down and he marks me up and pierces. but when I look down the piercings are NO WHERE NEAR the marker. completely crooked. one is too high and one is too deep and neither are straight. PLUS he put in basically an industrial bar in my nipples. WAY TOO BIG. as he's putting the balls on he's tugging on my fresh piercings and heavy breathing all over them. he drops the ball into my lap and has me give it back to him. no cleaning was done after he was completely unsanitary with me. I was going to pass out from the pain from him going way too slow and poking the wrong spot!!! so he fanned me with a piece of cardboard he found on the dirty table. 5 months later the one he poked wrong and was tugging on still is having issues. I promise you a quick piercing is not worth it. go someone else. wait. make a longer drive. spend more money. do anything but go here PLEASE

ive gotten several good pieces from scott(hes the only person there thats friendly and doesnt…read moreappear to be high as a kite. hes a great conversationalist...but jïws a black guy named dave kept walking behind me while getting a tattoo to charge his phone..he kept complaining about personal lofe issues while shoving his phone in the artists face while he had a needle to my skin. the owner let the license get pulled bc he disnt keep up with stuff. he let the lights shut off but their still doing work out of there with no license. the people thabŷt live in the back of the shop constantly came walking thru the shop to do random things.the owner and his gf/wife just argue all the time right infront of customers or in the parking! The female artists is seems off. The one guy is alwasy sleeping on the couch...the piece i got on my arm took anwhile but the other one took 4 hours and only the outline got done and now its infected in the same spot that was getting over worked. So now i have had to go to the ER. I went to another tatt shop to get an opinion as to whether this tattoo can be saved or if can be covered. they said to immediately get to dr. Or walk in/urgent care. So i did. Im currently on an antibiotic and in 8 weeks go back and see if they are able to salavge/fix it/cover it(big ass piece in a very obvious spot.so it sux walking around. The artists at the place i got a 2nd opinion from stated "even if my tattoo got infected bc of me/bad luck(ive got tons of tatts and they have never gotten infected or had issues like this) so he said even if it was on my end it didnt excuse as to why the ink all the way around the entire tatt is already fading, the line work looks like i got tatted in the back of a moving car...n all that along with the current events of no license/no electricity/drug use/owner being on BS and this piece taking as long as it did...they are negligent...and for me to jist focus on healing and staying away from that place. Also the girl artist is running her own tattoo place outta that place as well. I was explained by people in the shop while getting work done that she was using sins if the skin license to put her own stuff on so if u look up sins of slin and sailor beware on google it will come up same address and same suite...i mean i guess now since there isnt a license it dont matter but just shady stuff going on in thrre and now im left with this crappy experience, out money, and having to oay money to get doctor check up and antibiotics as well as going theu the process again when its time to get it fixed. not okay!!! only reason i gave 1 star was bc the one guy that did my work(even tho one piece turned out terrible he was still a decent human (i believe the bills arent getting paid bc the money theyre getting from doing tattoos is going towards drugs...no tattoo shop owner isnt gunna let his business go under like this and just has no money even tho he has several motorcycles he coukd have sold. To make ends meet to keep everything legal/up n running not do illegal tatts and have his employees lose jobs/reputation. Ive got better experience/work done on my couch at 20 years old(more than anything felt more safe)

I got my helix pierced and it went pretty well except for the person who did it was not the nicest, but I was just happy to get the piercing. A few weeks after, I'm cleaning it twice a day but it was developing a bump and getting irritated. I got a better cleaning solution from a better place and got the irritation to go away. Just yesterday went somewhere else, a better piercing place to get my helix resized and looked at. The person was very kind and had been piercing for 12 years. They told me that the helix was not pierced correctly and they did a bad job, and that it might be best to just keep the earring out and let it heal. I was very disappointed. They gave me good advice at there, and I will be returning there, and not to Screaming Needle. I recommend to not get piercings here.

Go right when it opens if you don't want to wait. I got two helix piercings on the same ear, which I recommend - if you get a piercing on each ear it's harder to sleep on your side. I was really nervous going in, but it didn't hurt at all! I iced my ear for about 30min while waiting in line and I think that did the trick, so I recommend! It's been about 5 days since and there's minimal soreness. I'll definitely be back for more piercings!
