Do not use this company unless you have absolutely no regard for how you spend your money. While the service IS very professional, you will pay twice, three times, four times the amount than the job should have cost. For example, we had a new toilet installed six months ago, and I soon discovered Ace charged us almost twice as much as most of their competitors. I gave them another chance and got a quote from them to replace my (inside) electrical panel. I almost choked on the estimate, and am having it done by another electrician for one fourth of the cost. I placed a call today for my AC which has a drain pan and air handler leak issue. First, I would like to say I am extremely pleased with this company. I called, the ladies that handled my phone call were very professional and even called after my service call to make sure everything went well. Secondly, when Billy from Ace arrived, I was so relieved just by his mannerism and eagerness to see what the issue is and his willingness to actually explain to me what he would do to fix it. I've had multiple companies come out for estimates and he, by far was the most professional, caring person. I'm fully involved in everything in my home so I asked a lot of questions, and Billy was so patient with me. I never felt like any question was a dumb one, or that I was being rushed for any reason. I've had a couple of estimates from other companies and they all made me feel like they were either beating around the bush with indirect answers, or overcharging me. I did not feel this one bit from Billy, every step of the way he was very professional, knowledgeable and I now have a clear understanding of what needs to be fixed and why. Im thankful I found someone with years of experience and knows exactly what he is doing. Also, another relief was I was quoted at a very fair and reasonable price. I called to get a toilet unclogged. After 2 attempted snakes the tech stated I would need a new toilet and he recommended the $1000 fix. He said in 2-3 days it would be clogged again. He charged us $227 and asked if he would get 5 stars for his service. What???? I called to complain about not having value meet the mark of the amount paid. I was ripped off by ACE last week. We have an annual contract with ACE, which is supposed to offer us a 15% discounted rate on service. This doesn't really help though when their services charges are ridiculously overpriced. I was charged $275.73 for "diagnostic, reset water closet with seal" - which basically is a translation for removing the toilet and resealing it. I had "diagnosed" the problem by pointing out that the toilet was wobbly. Then I was charged $364.51 for a toilet flange replacement. I have since called my brother-in-law, who is a contractor, and he says that it should have have cost $200.... $400 max. $650 for a toilet flange replacement is way overpriced according to everything I find on the web as well. I was told that the customer service manager would call me back last week... still no response. Very disappointed. read more

Sharks. It started over two years ago when our air-conditioner died. I wanted a bigger company that was local that had decent reviews and had background checks so I chose Ace. They sent a technician out who was very sharp and fixed our air conditioner for the price of a service call and a part. Less than two weeks later my air-conditioner again was not running. Again we had a service technician come to the house. Not only was our outdoor unit a mess, as this was a rental home prior, but our inside compressor did not match the outside unit and it had been repaired by a property management company before. He also pointed out that the venting intake in the home was in adequate. At this point ace sent their salesman JR. Now bare in mind this was mid May in Kissimmee Florida with temperatures already well into the 90s. So there's real motivation as a homeowner to get air-conditioning problems fixed. More like desperation. This young man said the ace uses Lennox products which is a reputable company. On his sales pitch he pulled out a chart which had a column of square footage for homes and the units they offer from the least expensive to the top-of-the-line solar ready units. It showed roughly what you should be paying in electric bill for your size home. Then he asked to see my electric bill from Duke energy. He showed me mathematically that if I went to a very good unit (the second from the top because we wanted solar options), that I would save roughly $200 a month in electric bills. They offered us a for 60 months 0% interest financing. I did not want to take on another bill as we had just moved here. But he pointed out that after I deduct my savings my loan would only really be $100 a month. They would also install a matching compressor and expand our venting which should make our airflow better which would also benefit our bill. Total $18,000. We signed the papers and they installed everything including a new thermostat. And here is where it turns south. To date over two years later we have not seen any of the savings promised. It was a battle dealing with their manager Jon every step of the way. He would blame Lenox and Lenox would blame Ace. We had guys come out to the house four separate times to tweak the thermostat and it is supposed to be connected through them online so we can monitor our system and to date they have still not done so even though we put forth multiple email request they do so. Jon asked for me to get Duke energy to come to my house to do an energy audit which cost me money and send him the results. I did so it showed that the air-conditioner uses the most energy in the house. So after about 15 months of basically being double billed because I still had my loan from them but my energy bills were still just as high as before, we negotiated ace putting solar panels on our home to compensate. After much negotiating they placed four solar panels- at their expense on our home. Jon assured my husband this would make up for the difference in our energy bill. Our bill has come down $14 a month! I even called Duke energy and talk to their solar department. I gave them the make and model Number of the panels installed and they said they were not of the best quality and that indeed they would bear fruit of under $20 a month. Upon telling Ace this they refused to add any more panels and basically told us they're not doing anything more for us. Now in addition to that whole mess, because we signed a yearly service contract with them we had a major plumbing issue in my home. all five bathrooms sewage backed up into the toilets and tubs. You can imagine what a nightmare. They sent a service guy who didn't even flush one toilet or run the water in one sink and handed me an estimate for $2000 to flush the whole system. He told me it was a two-man job and that they would have to use the roof venting system to clear the lines. I called a local plumber to get a second opinion. He came right out to my house- in person on a Sunday- flushed the lines by himself for $400. So why is ACE charging me 2000? In fact every time ACE returns to my home whether it's for a yearly check up or to diagnose a problem they seem to want to oversell everything. They told my husband that the ground to our house was bad and needed to be replaced and they could do it for $975. We got a second opinion from Frank's electric and he said he would charge $275. My husband found part for $180. Just a week ago after me having to hunt them down to schedule my annual service, a guy came to the house and now is trying to sell us on some algae pump for the outside? Something that was never brought to our attention when purchasing the $180000 air unit. He wanted $85 to come back and install some sort of algae pump that we found online for $12? IF we have a yearly service contract why am I being charged over the cost of the part? Buyer BEWARE! read more

I recently installed a new a/c based with Ace based on the recommendation of a relative. The technicians were excellent, reliable and professional. The company management on the other hand are a disgrace. The salesman sold me an installation that could not be performed and they didn't want to credit me for the services the could not provide. A vent was installed over the thermostat which would not allow the unit to run as it should. After several e-mails the said they would move the thermostat "as a courtesy" but they would recommend installing another vent for $1k, never mind they are the professionals who should have known what was need. Not even once has any one in management contracted me to discuss all the issues and inconveniences they put me through, all communications were with their office staff. The warranty registration was also sent to the manufacturer with the incorrect information, they have yet to contact me on this one. After a month of waiting I had to contact the manufacturer to get the warranty information corrected. I don't recommend this company based on the experience with their management, it's a shame these technicians work there. They deserve better. I REGRET GOING WITH THEM. read more

Since ACE Solves it All did not bother to contact me back regards to my continued air conditioner (which I purchased from ACE; I had no other choice than to call one of your competitors. They came out and evaluated the entire system and as it turns out ACE sold me a substandard 3 ton system (Rudd) with only a 2 ton return vent opening. They also found out there was hardly any coolant in the system, which is what I kept telling your tech every time and he kept telling me "there was coolant" if that was the case why then did he have to keep topping off the unit with gas? The tech from this other big company found other issues with the system, a system that is only 5yrs old. He documented everything for me and told me about the substandard work ever time the ACE tech came out. Bottom line is that now I have to spend approximately $2480 to have to the unit you people installed fixed. Believe me I am going to make sure my experience will be shard online to the good working hard people of Orland to think twice before calling for your services so they do not suffer the same consequences I have suffered with ACE. read more

Stay away from this company!!! They never call back when they say they will especially after they already charge you. They did a horrible job... I had mold all around on my air handler inside and out. I asked well how much is it for just to remove the mold and got a quote of $950 they say because you have to pull out the fan, coils in order to clean it with all that mold. They cancel on me a Sunday afternoon for Monday saying oh the guy that gave me the quote is actually off the next day!?this app. was made a week earlier! So whatever I had to reschedule it for Tuesday which I had a family member be here for me. Turns out the original guy still didn't come out and they never touched the outside. They are stating oh, well that's a separate charge, we only do the inside for the mold because the outside your not breathing in and it's not going to harm you...it doesn't cause a problem for the system with mold on the outside... wow really so I okayed paying $950 which already was too much and that's it don't worry the mold is not a problem... 1 1/2 days later I come home to my a/c shut off, home hot and water all over the garage floor.. I had to open the system and I saw all this gunk in the drip tray (system was clogged) what I also saw is mold thick enough still on the door panel to the system. They said they called this morning (LIED) and with no explanation, referred me to another company. Obviously the new company won't make it in time for my July 4th Pool Party BBQ tomorrow. I needed to know where the wires for my pool light ran to replace the enclosure. I knew the wires leaving the light were one type and the wires leaving the panel were different so there was a buried junction box somewhere in between. I explained all this, got an appointment and thought I was set. First they moved my appointment to a day later, then when the tech got there he had no equipment to locate underground cables. He did give a quote for a level 2 diagnostics of over $1,000 which is ridiculous. I wasted $79 for the call on this. I ended up doing what I should have done to begin with, ordering a cable locator from Amazon for $45 which came the next day and 1 hour later I had located and dug up the junction box. By 2 hours later I had completely replaced the old leaky pool light enclosure and was up and running. OVERPRICED!!!! DO YOUR HOMEWORK ON COST BEFORE CALLING THESE GUYS! We had tried calling Workhorse Plumbing in Ocala and was diverted to Ace Solves It All based out of Orlando/Kissimmee. Ace returned our call promptly and set up a service call for the following day. The service technician ended up running a bit behind schedule. The home office/dispatch woman was great about keeping in contact and giving me updates regarding when to expect the service technician. She even offered to reschedule if we chose to do so. When I had set up the original appointment I had told the lady that our hot water heater was broken, had water shooting out the back panel and that it would need to be replaced. She informed me that the technician would go over our options and the cost after he arrived. The technician arrived at 8:30pm, our original appointment window was between 3 and 5 pm. He was very friendly and I thanked him for coming out. This is when things turned south. I was provided with an estimate of $1600 to replace our electric hot water heater. This is a ridiculous, inflated price. I was provided an estimate of $3200 to replace it with a hybrid unit, also a ridiculous, inflated price. The cost of the electric unit is around $500, this adds $1100 for installation?? I asked the technician for a breakdown of the cost and I was told that this is the standard base price the company charges to replace the water heater. I was very disappointed that I waited hours past the originally scheduled appointment time only to be taken advantage of with an over-priced estimate. I called Meeks Plumbing this morning and they will have a plumber out this afternoon to replace our water heater for a very reasonable $700. Our saving grace was that we had researched the cost of the water heaters so we know how much the hot water heating unit cost. Overall decent customer service but unfortunately due to their overinflated prices I will not be doing business with these folks again. read more

The girl on the phone was rude, never once apologized and we just got a bad feeling about the way they run the company. Why not phone and say you will be late? Ace Solves it All is the worst AC company. They are located at 1692 Dolores Drive Kissimmee. I have Stage 4 Cancer and should be focusing on my health and recovery but here I am dealing with this foolishness. We got ripped off. We paid for a maintenance plan and had issues with our AC. Called them to get it fixed. We were charged over $600 and they had to come back because the original repairs failed. They came back a 2nd time and guess what our AC has been broken for over 2 weeks. We canceled our maintenance plan due to poor customer service and requested a refund and it's been over a month as of today nothing. I sent my request via email and have followed up several times. Each time they keep telling me they are waiting for it to be approved. I was called last week and advised I should receive my refund by the end of the month. As of today nothing. I called today and requested to have my refund today and was told again it was just approved on 2/23/18 a month after the original request. Again an example of poor customer service. Why should it take this long to approve a refund you are not a fortunre 500 company. You had no problem in taking the funds for the maintenance plan out of our account immediately and no probelm in taking the $600 for the AC repair immeidately but I got to keep calling and getting frustrated over a refund. Today I was told that they were waiting for the owner to sign the check which he only does on Fridays. Again that makes no sense. Supposedly I can call tomorrow and speak with Julie to see if the check was signed so that I can picke it up Well I don't beleive this is going to happen. This HVAC contractor ostensibly endorsed by COSTCO prices itself out of any market in Central Florida at the same time telling you they are competitively priced. My AC was out its 95. degrees out, I'm ill and elderly. Long story short: I took them at their word....could not cancel during the four day period because no one would answer my emails and calls. I paid 7000. for equipment that I could have had done for as little as 3300. Do not even call these people. They take advantage of especially the elderly and infirm. The workers here were outstanding but management is not responsive and wrong equipment was sent. The job is not quite finished and I have been promised a return phone call but like their salesman they will not return my call. Oh they got their money from finance outfit so I'm not sure if I will ever have my job completed. The entire experience has been unbelievable despite charging about double any other company. I recently purchased a home in the Kissimmee area as a second home, and the water heater in the garage is about 15 years old. As the VP of a heating and cooling company that also does light plumbing in Virginia, I am well aware that it is pure luck this heater isn't leaking yet. I figured it would be a good idea to replace it while I was going to be in town at the end of this month. I called for a quote and when they got back to me today I was informed Ace doesn't work on any "non primary resident" homes. When I questioned it the very ditsy girl that was on the phone simply says "I don't know it's just our policy." This is the dumbest policy I have ever heard of!! Your company is located in the vacation capital of this country but you don't work on anything that the owner doesn't actually reside in full time? You all must be doing pretty well for yourselves to be able to keep your clientele to such a limited number in that area. read more

I used Ace for several jobs around my new home. Plumbing and Electric. I called them recently because one of the GFI plugs are flashing red and I tried the breaker and changing out the plug to a new one and nothing helps. When I called them they tell me they never did that work in my kitchen. They had it as a 20 volt being changed out. I have a brand new circuit box so I know they did not do that job. I explained that they came out and did the work in the kitchen replacing plugs and they said no they do not see that at all on their work order history. I do not know what the electrician wrote on his paperwork because I sign the tablet every time and I saw it as electric plugs changed out when I signed. If he changed it later I do not know. All I know is there have been problems with this company and it's workers all along. Do not use this company. They will cancel appointments, send people that try to up sell you, and send people that do not know how to do the job. They have a guy named Mannie that has a degree in business and is a plumber. He has no idea how to fix pipes or install pipes, he stands around trying to up sell products the whole time his partner does all the work and they few things that he did work on were wrong and he had to come back and fix them again. read more

Please remember the circuit panel and wires were already there, all they had to do was connect the wires to the new unit. I told him he was crazy. I thought he had done something wrong. He assured me that was the price, even called his supervisor and they both agreed. I told him to get lost. They still charged me $69 to give me the quote!!!! I called Terry's Electric. This company is the worst. We were given an estimate on 2/8 for a broken water pipe that was causing a flood in the bed room. We were told they could be out first thing Monday morning and it would be a 1 day job. They were paid the deposit to start and we were scheduled for Monday. Well, Monday comes and they call and say they can't make it. One of their other jobs took longer than expected they would be out Tuesday.Ok, fine things happen then, here comes Monday evening. All of a sudden everyone has the flu and they can't make it until Wednesday. Nope! Not acceptable after being told they can refund our money they are miraculously better and able to do the job. As of today, 3/2 we still have drywall cut out in the rooms and ceiling. Someone has been coming forever to replace and it still hasn't happened. Someone showed up Monday and said they would be here Friday with the inspectors to get everything done. No surprise, they did not show up. On top of all of that I get my statement for the remainder and its $2,000 more than it should be. After 2 phone calls about this, it still has not been corrected. These guys are a ripoff..I bought an air conditioning system from them...I used them because they were associated with Costco, but immediately after that Costco dropped them. I was promised rebates thru FPL (FPL does not recommend them) and others that were never received. I willingly paid an outrageous price since they were associated with Costco, and based on the promised (and documented on the invoice) rebates. They don't return phone calls or emails or respond to Better Business Bureau complaints. Steer clear of them or get burned like I did. A very expensive mistake on my part. read more

I had a GFI breaker go bad. I had a Federal Pacific breaker panel which are a fire hazard, but they played on that, and they were trying to steer me towards replacing it and everything out to the main from the city for $7000! I got a different Better Business Bureau A+ company that I found to fix the outlet for $350, and they are going to replace by Federal Pacific breaker panel for $1500! I am still thinking about trying to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. read more

Please do not use this company! We had a Roman Tub which the faucet needed to be changed. The worker said he would get a quality faucet at Ferguson Plumbing Orlando. He did not leave any packaging or instructions which would have come with this "quality faucet" after he was done. When I looked at the work the next day I noticed the faucet says Glacier Bay which is Home Depot's cheapest brand $79. When we called the office they keep saying the man installed a American Standard faucet with a 10yr warranty.They will not admit the man went to Home Depot ! We have pictures to show the brand name. They refuse to send any kind of documents about the product. They will not answer emails or phone messages. The man was there for 2.hrs . The charge was $1600 ! I believe this company took advantage of this homeowner who happens to be an Asian woman who does not completely understand the costs associated with and the language involved. read more

Horrible customer service! Had three appointments scheduled during my two days off of work. Electric technician shows up 30 minutes after his two hour scheduled window. A/C technician never showed up. I waited until an hour after the two hour scheduled window to call their office , and then someone actually called the technician to find out where he was. The next day I had a plumbing technician scheduled between 10 and 12. I received a call from ACE at 1:20 telling me the technician was on his was way. Technician didn't show up until 3:15. I turned the technician away when he arrived and told him I would not be using this company for any services. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more
