Very bad they feild me for not having a check engine light on! After passing the smog test! The first day after waiting 1 hour they sent me home and said there computer went down Come back the next day and I passed and they said because my engine check light was off they won't pass me after passing the smog test! It was the only place near me open on a Sunday. My car was in and out for a smog (with a PASS outcome) in about 5 minutes, which was a plus cuz I had my kids w me. Didn't catch his name but the red hair guy took care of us. Nothing especially special about the place, but I don't regret coming here. read more

I went to this location because it was on my way to work unlike the Chino location. The two person team was friendly even when my car didn't pass the first time due to a oxygen sensor not being ready. He was clear about the cost of the retest and honored the coupon. Went back a week later and my car passed. Very pleased with their service. To those with a bad experience, run by Autozone or other parts store and OBDII code scan your vehicle first. If you have a check engine light or in my case; recently changed the battery, you're probably not going to pass. Most code scanners these days tell you if your cars computer is even ready to do a smog test. It can take over 500 miles before the vehicles computer retests the individual engine smog components. read more

Sargon m is a dumbass. You still have to pay for someone providing you a service at least once, if your car doesn't pass the smog ck. They just won't charge you again once you fix it and bring it back to retest. Why would they provide a service and let you leave for free? They weren't misleading, you misled yourself. This same process is like almost all other smog places. Anyway, I went here today and it was cheap (with the online coupon) the men working there were nice and professional and I was out if there in less than 20 min. Great place. read more

these guys are scammers. I went to get my truck I had just bought to get smogged. The tech examined my engine bay & then began the test. after he was finished, he told me everything was good, so the other guy escorted me inside to pay. I inserted my c.c & when he handed me my receipt it wasn't the $65 I was told I was going to be charged. it was $56 & then he told me my truck fail the visual inspection. because it had a CARB LEGAL K&N intake. which he even state he knew was carb legal but the sticker had fallen off. Got a coupon for this place on the DMV website. The total was of course more than what the coupon stated because of additional "fees," but still within reasonable range. My car did not pass the smog test, so the associate told me that I would probably have to get some work done to it and bring it back and this time it would only cost me $40 for the test. I referred the associate to the HUGE banner outside the premises stating "Pass or Free Retest." Why would I have to pay the $40? Well, the sign refers to the "labor" which is free, but the test itself would still cost me $40. Keep in mind there were no exclusions on the banner or anywhere in the store. Deceptive advertisement. Dishonest people. Check engine light was on and thats an automatic fail. Unbeknownst to me. They saw it and didn't tell us it was going to fail automatically. $63 dollars lost. Not all of us are car savvy but at least be honest when people are going to pay good money. Not only this incident, before when I took my car and passed my smog two years ago they told me a set price then upped the price just because. Feeling I had no other choice my car is hooked up to the machine I payed. But this nickel and dime place just goes to show their business ethic. Go elsewhere. Sign said 35$ for smog check which is what I paid two months ago. Brought another car in for a smog check and was charge 60$ when it was all done for "taking longer". Refused to pay and he somehow lowered it to $50 and blamed me for signing an agreement, which he gave me no time to go over, without reading. You will get ripped off, not worth your time. read more

I stopped in to get a quick smog check on my way home from work. Customer service was tiny little room with a counter and small TV. I definitely did not feel safe here. The older gentleman who initially helped me was really nice, but the younger gentleman who did the service and took my payment was not nice and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. He left my keys in the car running our in front of the shop where anyone could have taken my car and gone (and believe me it felt like the kind of place where someone might just try to do that). Then when I went to pay he charged me much more than the internet special and when I questioned him on it he rolled me that was the price I signed for. I argued that I signed that to authorize they work on my car not the payment price. After a little bit of arguing he agreed to reduce the price, but he was not nice about it what so ever. read more

This smog place is star certified very friendly people. My car did not pass unfortunately but the young gentlemen was very helpful took his time to explain why it didnt pass with words I understood. I took it back for the retest and since I payed full price the 1st time I just had to pay $12 for the certificate and trasfee.Will definitely recommend to co workers and family. read more
