Y'all... I accidentally found a diamond in the rough. I called around 4:30, fully expecting them to tell me they were closing. Instead, this man says, "Come on, I'll wait for you." Not only that, he knew there was construction around the shop and made sure I knew exactly how to find it. That alone told me he actually cares about people, not just getting them in and out. The smog check was DMV certified, fast, and efficient--but not one of those places where they're rushing you out the door like they're late for dinner. He took his time, did the job right, answered my questions, and made me feel comfortable. He has one of those personalities that just feels like you've known him forever. Now listen... if you're on Holt, SLOW DOWN because you'll drive right past it. It's between Campus and Grove, and it's easy to miss if you're flying down the street like you're in the Indy 500. The shop isn't fancy, and it could use a little cleaning and organizing, but don't let appearances fool you. I'd rather have an honest mechanic than a pretty waiting room any day. I haven't used him for repairs yet, but he also does oil changes, brakes, and other mechanical work. Based on how he treated me over a simple smog check, I have a feeling I may have just found the mechanic everyone hopes to have in their back pocket. Good, honest people are hard to come by these days. This is the kind of small business I'd rather support over the big chains. I'll definitely be back. Let not forget the price was right. $56 something. Oh and some brownie points for thinking my old ass was young and my 15 year-old daughter was mine friend (yeah RIGHT!) P.S. Sorry guys I couldn't get my good pictures too busy SNIGGLING and giggling with My Daughter. read more

Great place for smog checks if you're in need of a quick and affordable place! They also have a coupon online, so I don't know what it'd be without it. However, there was a small difference, not sure if it's after tax or not. Online there's a coupon for $35, but in person they charged $40 for the coupon. I don't know if there's a fee that was missed or if they just never updated the price for the online coupon, but it's only a $5 difference, so nothing I'd make too big a deal over. The whole process took about 30-45 minutes. Be aware, there's no place to sit or shade while you wait, so plan accordingly. Since there was another customer in front of me, I had to wait for them to finish first and was hiding behind a truck's shade. Once it got to my turn, it was pretty quick. They also do take card. read more

This is the best place to get your smog test done! The owner is incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful. He made the entire process quick, easy, and stress-free. One thing I really appreciate is that they're open Monday through Sunday until 8:00 PM, including Sundays. It's so hard to find a smog shop that's open on Sundays, so having that flexibility is a huge plus. If you're looking for fast, reliable service with great customer care, this is the place to go. Great experience at this smog check station, my husband and I were able to take both of our cars (just our luck, they both needed to be smogged in the same year) and get our inspections done swiftly. We were shocked at the excellent service as we expected a long wait, but despite the thorough check, it didn't take long at all! We even went home to bring our other car to get it done in the same day. I love the hours/availability and price was excellent. read more

Ontario Smog Check is my new go-to for all of my emissions needs. The gentleman there was extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable, honest, and efficient. I bought a vehicle and needed to get it registered quickly. After paying so much to purchase and insure my vehicle, I was dreading spending anymore money. I was pleasantly surprised by what I discovered when I came here. The pricing was incredibly fair and far below all local top competitors and even better than its surrounding competitors. I will be referring all of my family, friends, and neighbors to this place and if I could leave a 10-star review, I most certainly would. Highly recommended for all of your emissions needs, you will not be disappointed. read more
