I had used Ace Mobile Auto Detailing since April 2014 and throughout these eight years the service has been impeccable. Washing, waxing, polishing, buffing, scratch removal, touch-ups ... there was even that one time I drove through a white wet paints spill (the horror!) that coated my wheel wells and sprayed all over the side of my car. They fixed that too. I'm kicking myself for not writing a review sooner. But I figured -- hey, this place has great reviews, what's another five star review worth so I never did. Here I am, 8 years a loyal customer wondering "what happened to this detailer?" Ever since the website was updated a year or two ago, it's been a different company. Pricing has skyrocketed ... based on service I never received because now they respond at best intermittently to inquiries over email. I'm not entirely sure they're still in business. Either way, this lack of responsiveness has me finding a new detailer I'll probably use for the next eight years. read more

Nathan has been detailing my Prius for several years now, most recently yesterday. By the time he gets into his van to drive off into the sunset (and that's no kidding, he works a solid 6 hours every visit), the car looks exactly like it did the day it was picked up at the dealer. This time was no different. Other reviewers (including myself in a prior review) note how knowledgeable Nathan is regarding auto detailing. Turns out that's the tip of the iceberg. He is also a student of automotive paint technology, clear coat processes, color considerations and polymer protectant properties. Yesterday he indicated that he conducts practical and long-term testing of the products he uses, to ensure that they perform to his satisfaction (a very high clay bar) before offering them broadly to clients. On a personal note, Nathan is one affable ace. He's interesting and engaging. For some people, having Nathan's level of expertise might reflect more in arrogance than metallic scintillation, but Nathan is as "aw shucks" as they come. It's always good to see him, and even the car seems happier after the service. Nathan did an amazing job on my interior and exterior detailing. He arrived on time and spent about 7 hours doing an extremely thorough job on my car. I have a cream colored interior which he was able to restore to almost as good as new considering how badly stained my carpet was! He was also able to remove a large amount of superficial scratches on my car exterior and even sanded down some rust marks and put a sealant over them. My car was gleaming after he was done! Yesterday, I got a brand new car thanks to Nathan's hard work. I recommend his detailing services to anyone who wants to bring a vehicle back to life. He worked on my 13- year old Saab for 8 hours with no breaks. He's a perfectionist (which I suppose is the trait you want to see in a car detailer extraordinaire ) and I remain amazed at his work and the Transformation of my car. I won't lie-- my car had been "totaled" by my insurance company several years back, but I decided to keep it. I share this to emphasize that the car was in bad shape. I simply can't believe the way Nathan worked his magic. I am kicking myself for not taking "before" and "after" photos because you absolutely would not believe it. Nathan responded promptly to my initial inquiry and gave me a firm quote in advance. He also answered my questions along the way. He set clear expectations and let me know how and when he expected payment and what he could and could not do to improve the appearance of my car. Scheduling was easy and he arrived at my home promptly at 8 am as promised. He got to work right anyway --even before I got outside. I observed him, off and on, most of the day. Nathan is a machine-- no smoking, texting, sitting, eating, or coffee breaks---you get it. The guy is all business even in 90 degree heat. It's his business and you can tell. He's owned it for 17 years and he cares about his customers' satisfaction. I've not experienced this level of customer service ( in any realm ) in so long that I'm certain to be blown away by this for quite some time. Ace came highly recommended by two friends who both own exotic automobiles, so I gave them a try for my 2003 Mustang Cobra Convertible. Nathan impressed from the start, on time, all the proper equipment, and clearly knew a lot about automotive finishes and how to care for them. Almost 12 full hours later my car looks better than when it left the factory. He was able to make a number of light scratches completely disappear, and left a perfect mirror finish on a gloss black car. It's the details that make the difference of course, the complete cleaning of the wheels, the use of the proper tire protectant (not the "gloss gloop" most places use). He even made a point of noting how dirty the under side of the side sills were when he cleaned them. He even removed the license plate and polished under where it goes. There was some back and forth in e-mail as some have mentioned (and a few marked down about), but let me help explain. They want to know how bad the problems are with your car, so they can recommend the right services and products. They also need to plan appointments for their "artisan" work, which means if you have significant issues they need to plan ahead. Plus, these guys are in demand, you're not getting an appointment tomorrow. A six star service in my opinion. The best of any detailer I've used my entire life anywhere I have lived. There's a reason he's the choice of people who own $300,000 exotic cars, but he can make your daily driver look awesome as well. Updating my review from 2 years ago: I had Nathan come out on 5/7/18 for the Ace Detail Package, and he still does incredible work. I honestly couldn't be happier with the results. He spent a full day working on my car, and his attention to detail is amazing. Every interior seam and crevice is free of dust and dirt and the carpets are spotless. He was able to bring out the original shine in the paint, which is really impressive because the car is 11 years old. In fact, he does such a good job that there was still wax on the car from when he first detailed it in July 2016. They said they would come but never showed up. I should've known this would be the case because when I called to schedule with them, it was via text message. I was super annoyed that the pricing is not listed on the website. This violates some of my core values when it comes to how I believe businesses should treat customers. I should have gone somewhere else after this but my laziness prevailed. Scheduling went ok, took a few e-mails back and forth but in the end had a date and time. Nathan did a good job on the service overall. There were a few nagging things that I would like to have had done better. And there were a few other places that had to go over later in the afternoon after I got a chance to do a closer inspection and actually drive my car. Picture this, 12 hours working on a farm in Texas followed by 28 continuous hours of driving, multitudes of chewing tobacco, fast food places, junk from an apartment, no showers and a black car with black cloth interior. Very nice work. They spent almost all day detailing outside & inside my '87 Porsche and '03 minivan and both looked very clean & shiny after they were done. The product they use on steering wheels was a little sticky but soon wore off, and the carpets still smell a bit shampoo-y in the van 3 weeks after they were cleaned. Also the carpets needed some additional air-drying after they were done. These guys did a great job restoring a high gloss to the black paint on both cars, especially the van which hadn't been waxed in 8+ years and sits out in the sun. read more

I never got to hire them to DO the detailing of my car because they were so demanding, rude and difficult via email in trying to schedule and get any kind of estimate at ALL for the potential work! It doesn't have to be that hard to get any idea of what the services will cost. After several exchanges and still no information given, they didn't bother to answer my last email asking if there are package based on the size of the vehicle, they haven't bothered to reply at all. I purchased a gift card for my husband for his ageing Tacoma. He isn't great about taking care and it had never been detailed since purchase in 2011. It had a lot of swirls and scratches so I got the ACE Detail package. It looks brand new!! Nathan did a fabulous job. I booked my Tahoe right away for the Immaculate service since it was not in as bad of shape. I detail the Tahoe once a year and have used 2 different companies. Nathan did a much better job than the other two and was priced in between the two. He also gave me some advice of areas that need more than "detailing" where the dealership where I bought it (used) had tried to cover up some damage. I was beyond impressed with the work ethics and professionalism of Ace mobile auto detailing. First, I sent an email late afternoon on a Wednesday asking for a quote for the interior pro package. By the next morning they had me scheduled for that Friday morning. I was beyond happy about this as I recently quit smoking and the smell of my car was making the cravings worse. My detailer, Jay, did an amazing job! That man worked from 10:30-2:30 without stopping. It showed too, cause my car was cleaner then the day I drove it off the lot. Ace did such a great job on my SUV. My car looks brand new again. I had quite a few coffee and makeup stains that came out perfectly. My seats also stain VERY easily and they look so good now. I even had rust stains in my trunk from some paint cans that are now 98% gone. I had assumed those were going to be there forever. My youngest has a service dog and he travels to all therapy appointments, hospitals, stores etc. He is always groomed but does shed and our interior really went downhill (cloth seats). I only purchased the exterior package which included a wash, wax, and clay bar. Overall, the car was clean with a mirror-esque reflection. However, it wasn't until later when the car was under light I saw that it still had that spider web in the paint. There was also a surface scratch in the paint that I forgot to point out. It was still there but I think it should have been able to come out with a good buff. Maybe my expectations were a little high based on the other reviews but the car came out clean and shiny with a little to be desired. Update: After seeing my review, Ace contacted me to indicate the type of work that would be needed to address my expectations. They also offered to come back out and inspect the car. My car looks brand new again (and it's not disgusting anymore) - it even looks better than when I first bought it. I did not know what to expect and I am not really a car person (my husband is and he is who scheduled for both of our cars to be detailed)... but I am beyond satisfied and amazed at the excellent service. Nathan spent over 10 hours on our two cars and every time I looked out the window thinking "what could someone be doing on the car for this long...?" - each time Nathan was meticulously going over a different part of the car either with a buffer, with some steam machine or examining with lights and goggles. Definitely the best detail job I have ever had. I have had my cars detailed over the last 15 years and have never been so satisfied as I am right now. I had the work done at my house. I was able to get some work done around the house and keep an eye on work. For about five straight hours the detailer worked with intensity non stop completely dedicated to my car. I watched as the signs of this awful winter disappeared from my exterior and a deep gorgeous shine was left. My accord is 6 years old and is definitely shining like new. I just keep walking around it staring at the shine. My interior is fresh and clean. He was able to get my stains out and it looks and smells great. The vents were clean and what meant a lot to me was the area around my shifter and the cracks in the seats were spotless.
