Now I had them come out to do some tuckpointing in areas that were cracking and missing grout. Needless to say that exceptional work is now shoddy at the least. When they were doing the tuckpointing the color did not even match the rest of the house. They had to stop to change color and still needed to come back and lighten it even more. Within 2 months the tuckpointing was cracking after spending over $3,000. Told him maybe your workers are not as great. You think they would notice it isn't right and stop! He got mad and said to his workers let's go, I won't be back don't call me BITCH! Very professional!

They added a bunch of roofing material to my roof hatch cut out making it much harder to fit the hatch on top of the opening. I had to end up cutting back a bunch of the extra roofing material to make it fit and hired a handyman to help me do that. They also left nails and garbage on the roof and in the backyard. They left a broken plastic tube that expels water from the furnace hanging over the side of the house where it was splashing onto us in the gangway. When I asked Nick on a Sunday to have someone come back and take a look at it he said someone would come look on Monday. I didn't hear from anyone until five days later on Saturday morning when Nick said he would come look at it. I told him I had already fixed it. To be clear, I think the tube got ripped in the storm damage, but they could have told me about it or at least not left it hanging over the side of the house if they weren't going to fix it. Communication was really bad too. They came out right before a downpour on a Monday and had to pause work in the middle of that. They were then going to come back the next day, but then told me later they would come back Friday. Nick told me his guy would come Friday morning possibly before 8am. I was surprised to have JR on my porch and calling me at 6:10am. I've never had a contractor show up that early and told him I couldn't disturb the 2nd floor tenants that early. JR said he would be back at 1pm. He came back at 8:55am instead without explanation and expected to be let in. When Nick and company failed to show up to address the plastic tubing situation, he said he felt bad and wanted to make it up to me. I told him he could send me back $100 for my time and effort addressing issues related to the roof job. I spent 2-3 hours of my time addressing roof issues (tubing and roof hatch), going to Menards, and spent money on a handyman. He has yet to reply and that was three days ago. The price was decent, but I very much feel like I got what I paid for and had to pay extra in both my time and money to remediate the project. I would not hire them again.

Overall, we're happy with the quality of our new fence. The workmanship was good, the finished…read moreproduct looks great, and we felt the pricing for the fence itself was fair. Our only concerns were with communication and project management. Our signed contract included replacing the fence as well as demolishing and removing a concrete step. A few days after the project began, we were told the concrete removal would cost extra because the step was concrete. We didn't mind paying the additional cost--we understand unexpected situations can come up--but it was frustrating that this wasn't identified and communicated during the initial estimate or before the work started. The concrete step was identified on the day work began, and he mentioned the extra charge 3 days later. Once the fence was completed, we were asked for full payment even though the contracted work had not yet been finished. We ultimately agreed to pay the remaining balance because we didn't want to go back and forth. It also seemed like multiple jobs were being worked on at the same time, which delayed completion. We were told a jackhammer needed to be rented to complete the concrete removal, but it wasn't arranged until later, adding to the delay. Overall, we're pleased with the final product and the quality of the work. I would hire Danny again because the workmanship and pricing were good. However, I would make sure the contract had more detailed terms regarding change orders, payment milestones, and project completion timelines to avoid any misunderstandings. Better communication throughout the project would have made the experience much smoother.
