I've been going to Ace since January. I lost more than 11 lbs; based on my inbody machine, it was ALL body fat. I didn't change my diet, and I don't do anything extra, mostly due to lack of time. The first month, I only went twice a week, if that.
This has never happened before, so I wanted to wait around and see how much more body fat I'd lose before I wrote a review... but that's really nonissue because I'm still losing weight and fat, and I'm going to keep going.
I've got maybe another 10 lbs to go before I lose all of the Covid weight, BUT it seems like I'm coming out on the better end of it (never experienced such rapid fat loss before in my entire life).
I can also feel my body getting healthier, and I'm honestly stunned at just how fast my health progress has been; it's been barely 4 months, and I've lost 3 Jean sizes. I've had to go buy new clothes. Not complaining.
I'm not saying that you will experience the same thing, but I've also never experienced this either, and I've been to gyms and had done proper weight lifting routine prior to Covid.
Classes are fun, instructive and thorough, and respectful. Masters Lee, Baek, and Cha know what they are doing, and they know how much to push you and how much to accommodate you.
I'm not on the young side of things, by the way. But Kendo is one of those things that you can do well into your 60s and 70s, so it could be a good investment for your health.
They also have programs for children and school kids. Some of them were not very respectful earlier in the year when I first met them, but I've seen their attitudes change over the past few months, and it's a welcome change. I'm also impressed at the instructors' abilities to shape these youngsters up so quickly.
It's still a new school, so we get a lot of individualized attention and in-depth explanations, even in class.
This might be the thing to help keep you in shape for the rest of your life.
This is one decision I've not regretted taking. You might also decide the same. Highly recommended. read more
