All of them are so friendly and helpful, they are always willing to assist or guide their customers. They have the best and great customer service for me. Their store is so huge, clean, and nice. They also have big parking lots and you can freely walk around and enjoy the ambiance of their location. Their location is so easy to go to, easy to find, you can go anytime like early morning, late, or even evening shopping. But I will recommend to go there early for you to avoid long lines and that time the place is not so crowded. When it comes to their products, you will be satisfied and will definitely shop there again. They have so lots of variety and selection, all of their items has a reasonable prices, and you can buy everything you need in such a fair prices. You will save a lot of money here compared to other Hardware around the City. They also have good deals and promos. Be careful! It seems…read morethat this Ace (in particular) and other Ace stores in general like to indulge in price swapping and misleading prices. The price of many 'non-Ace brand' items are displayed lower than the actual price on the sales floor, only to be rung up 'higher' at the regular (higher) price at the register. If you purchased an item at the artificially lowered price you saw on the display, you would most certainly be surprised to find it rings out at a much higher price at the register. Most of the time, the higher price IS the actual price on the website, but not always. In any case, that's actually not the point. The point is that an artificially lowered price lures you into making a purchase you might not have normally made. The usual excuse from the store manager is that there was a 'pricing error', but it happens ALL THE TIME at this store (Waukegan, Genesee & Grand). For big-ticket items, you may want to snap a photo of the price with your phone for later reference at the register, and save your receipt. Better yet, skip all the hassle and just shop at another, more reputable store, or Amazon. Oh, and if you are a minority individual, they will follow you (clumsily and quite obviously) no matter how long you may have shopped at the store. Let the buyer beware.

When it was time to get a new lawn tractor I didn't hesitate to go to them to inquire. I was cordially treated and received an excellent competitive price and warranty on a new tractor complete with delivery. I did have a simple problem initially with some small residual fines in the fuel line from the original manufacturing process that caused some uneven mowing speed. When I called the service dept they immediately told me they would pick up the tractor and remedy the problem with no cost to me. This they did in record time. I was totally impressed with the excellent service. I've had the tractor for over a year now and absolutely love it. Thank you Midstate!! It has my full recommendation.

I was on my way back from the Chicago Western Suburbs, driving back to Milwaukee after visiting my dying father in a hospital. I had to take a call from a close out of town out of the country relative and it was too cold standing outside to talk to I ducked into the nearest store, this one. There was no one else in the store, and the sales guy came up to see if I needed help but then overheard enough that he politely and discreetly turned around and surreptitiously went about his business. When I finished the phone call he recognized I didn't actually want any paint and left me be even though I didn't leave. I can't explain why but I was staring at some cans of paint, and later it registered on me that they have a pretty good stock, and of course Benjamin Moore is a high quality paint. I think one of the foundations of good customer service is reading customers and figuring out what we need. I'll tell you when I do need paint, I'm coming back here even though it's 45 minutes from where I live. It's next to an excellent Thai restaurant. One more plus, the owner supports the Northwestern Wildcats.

A great place to hide from the world, really, because who even knows about this place? There's a little couch/coffee table/bookshelf nook where you can absolutely veg out like a pro hermit. The veggie panino was really dang good!!! I don't remember what my friend ordered, but she seemed satisfied. The back patio area is perfect for a sunny lunch, surrounded by the blooming garden centre. The shoppers staring at you eating is a little off-putting, but hey, we're the ones eating in a flower shop, eh? Did I mention they have local craft beers? Nutty!
