    Customer service needs training. Sadly the manager on duty was very rude and off putting when inquiring on pricing.

This store is perfect for buying these sort of things. It was my first time there; so, I found them to be quite helpful, polite and efficient.     This place typically has the lowest prices you'll find, but their customer service is not good…read more I've had a number of interactions here that have left me feeling bad and not wanting to shop here anymore. 1) There was a time when they weren't sure if they had my dog's food in stock. They called the back to see if they had it, and it was a lot of back and forth about whether or not they had it. The phone call ended with them saying it was out of stock. Then a minute later they called and said they did have it after all. So I pay and pull around back, only to be told they don't have it and I would have to get a refund. This was followed by "just kidding." I was prepared to let this go, but the other interactions on top of this...it all adds up. 2) My dog hates car rides, so I put my sleeping bag on the back seat for her. It smells like me and calms her down. Someone working in the warehouse saw it and asked me if I'm homeless and live in my car, as he laughed. 3) Someone gifted me a bag of dog food in the correct brand and wrong line of food. I brought it here (unopened and brand new) to exchange it for the correct one, and was told I couldn't do that, because I had no proof it was from there, and they don't know how it's stored. This would make sense if they didn't take their own product back either, because they also don't know how the person stored it. They told me I was trying to get a free bag of food from them, which makes zero sense, considering I was trying to exchange an unopened unexpired product that actually cost more than the one I wanted, and I didn't even want the difference given back to me. It didn't matter to them I'm a long time customer of theirs. They treated me like I just randomly walked in off of the street and was demanding they hand me a free bag of food for nothing. 4) I purchased a bag of dog food, and afterwards, realized there was a small hole in the bag. I brought it back to them, and they told me if I kept the bag they would refund me $1. One dollar. They have raised the price of my dog's food by $10 per bag in the last six months or so, when it has remained the same price everywhere else. They are now about the same price as any other brick and mortar or online store. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

    I have been going to Wadsworth Feed for over 10 years to purchase their bird seed. I travel quite…read morea distance to get their so I purchase several bags at a time. I noticed that there were tiny moths on the outside of the bags when I got them home and tried to clean them off. However when I opened the third bag, there were lots of moths all over the inside. I took the bag back to the store and was told by the girl at the front that she had never heard of any moths on or in their bags. After she checked with the owner, I was told that i was not allowed to return the bag without a receipt. Please realize that the bag itself is one that they charge you for because they want you to bring it back for reuse. Secondly, it still had their tag on it and a sticker with their name on the price tag. I told her that I did not want more moths in my house (don't have a garage in which to store it) and she told me to take it back to the warehouse. The young man there knew instantly about the moths and opened the bag immediately. He said that he had seen them on the outside of their bags but never on the inside. He tried to get the front desk to refund my money, but they told him no. Then another guy came out to check. They both agreed that the bag had not been used and he knew about the moths as well. He however, told me that I should throw the bird seed on my lawn and that the moths would fly away. This seemed like a ridiculous solution to my situation - especially with a 50 lb bag of birdseed. Bottom line is that this was the best example of terrible customer service I have ever seen. The girl at the front desk practically accused me of creating the bug problem. They refused to stand by a product that was clearly from their store. And their only resolution was to throw the product all over the lawn. Clearly this establishment thinks so highly of themselves that they do not need to stand behind their products and obviously do not care at all about helping their long term customers. This situation is such a shocking disappointment. Typically small, family owned businesses are very courteous, but this is not the case with Wadsworth Feed. I have always tried to patronize the smaller businesses to show support. This one is definitely off my list forever. Buyer beware. Check your products before purchase because you may not be able to return them once you leave.

    AWEFUL scam of a business. Where do I begin. I ordered a small turf scrubber, 329$ sent it back…read morebrand new, money out of my own pocket for shipping, as I cannot afford the PayPal fee for it after receiving it which is why I sent it back, and it was not going to work for me anymore, I ordered a medium instead. These idiots refunded the wrong item. And they didn't even provide a full refund. They tried to tell me it's their shipping fees. What shipping fees?! You mean the 9.99 I paid?! That's not 28$ you took back. There is no where that provides this 28$ shipping fee, and definitely not in my invoice which shows the total I paid for. You cannot do this. This is illegal practice. Not only that, they refuse to refund the correct one because they made a mistake and refunded the wrong one. This is not customers fault, you own the business, you are responsible for what happens, I'm not your daddy, I'm not going to hold your hand and teach you how to run a business. Grow up aquacave. You cannot manipulate customer into sending back a product already paid for so you'll refund the correct one, this is also illegal practices. Manipulating customers, scamming them, taking extra money out of refunds for hidden costs/fees. What a horrible gross despicable excuse of a company. Run by a bunch of adult children. Accepting to go to court instead of simply just fully refunding the item. I even said I would pay the 28$ fee you charged backed for 0 reason. That was not the 9.99 I paid for shipping. I still want you guys to show me where in my invoices it says 28$ for shipping fees please? Because customers are not entitled to pay for your personal choices. You cannot take the money without legally providing evidence this fee exists and is being paid for by customer. Going to court over taking a 330$ loss is idiotic and immature. Grow up and take the L. And L also stands for LOSERS. I don't care if you refunded the higher cost one. You didn't refund the correct one, paid on a separate pay date and a whole separate order. I'm not ruining my credit score for you guys to scam customers and take our money. You screwed up, you pay the price. It's the cost of doing business. Put those big boy pants on and do what you need to do, get a box of cleanex I don't care whatever makes you feel better about taking the L. Sincerely, your dad.
