Their service is amazing, employees are friendly, and prices are great and tehy have everything you need. They are super helpful when you don't know what you need! I've never had less than 3 people help me when I walk in. Recently we were doing some electrical work at my house and my dad sent me here with some sort of gizmo and some info written on a piece of drywall. I walked in, handed the employee my stuff, and he said NO PROBLEM! Within 2 minutes I was out of there with the items I needed, even though I had no clue what my father had wanted.

Live in the Country? Have farm animals? Have a pet dog or cat? Need to do minor home maintenance…read morelike painting? Looking for durable outdoor clothing? If you answered Yes to any of these, you need to check this place out. There are aisles of pet food and accessories. One of the coolest thing I saw was an electric heated Pet Bed for your faithful four legged companion. Definitely something to consider for the cold winter months. They have a paint section with all kinds of paint. They have a tool section that sells top quality name brand tools like Milwaukee, Crescent, and Dewalt. In fact I purchased a nice 56 piece SAE and Metric set for my cousin (a farmer that can always use tools). They have durable and lasting outdoor clothing for work or play in their Carhart brand line that they sell. Of course everyone stops and looks at the baby chicks that are for sale. I'm no chicken expert, but I was thinking the Rhode Island Reds were awfully cute. Ha! The employees I interacted with were friendly and courteous. I think this store lives up to its name - "Rural King", check them out.

I would rather go here than the local Menard's any day. In fact I wouldn't say otherwise even if…read morehell froze over. It is by far the GREATEST hardware store in town. Heck I'd go as far to say that this is the greatest hardware store in the entire Tri-state area. I come here all the time whenever I need any type of fasteners for my projects. Their selection is easily on par with Menard's despite what you may think. But more importantly, no hardware store is complete without helpful hardware folk, and boy does this store have helpful folk. I have been performing manual labor my entire life and was a carpenter for 10 years, but I still find that I don't always have all the answers. Well you know who does? The employees here, that's who. I highly recommend asking Adam or Jeff if you have any questions as they both have extensive knowledge in almost every home improvement subject. If you can't find them though, don't be afraid to ask the other employees, most of them know a thing or two about home improvement, and even if they don't know exactly what your looking for, they don't hesitate to communicate with their co-workers for help. I would say even the new hires are somewhat knowledgeable and very helpful in the long run. I could write even more about how amazing this store is, but I'll leave it up to you guys reading this to find out for yourselves.
