The paint did not match - it was too dark - so I took it back hoping they could correct the color. The gentlemen there said it was the same formula and there was nothing he could do about it. When asked if he could lighten the paint to match the paint in the old can, he said that was not possible. He said he could darken the paint but not lighten it. I'm no paint expert but that doesn't make sense to me. Anyhow, I went to Ace Hardware and they matched to new paint to the old paint in the can.

Also, it's imperative for those on a budget (and who isn't right now!) to take advantage of sales and/or coupons whenever possible. She asked for my phone number and found my profile. She didn't say "Yes, I need to see the coupon". I assumed (shame on me) she applied the $10 off. I load the plants, look at my receipt and the $10 off was not applied. She applied a different discount which was less than $10. I walked back and by now there is a line. She walks around confused and asked other ladies for help and comes back to tell me to go to Garden center and show them a barcode she handed me. I pull around to the Garden center where they told me and nobody was there. No order in sight. I walked in to the young girl at register (who was recording selfies) and explained my situation and asked where I needed to go. For 10mins she struggled on the computer, her cell phone and even my cell phone. A long line formed where other customers were badgering me because I was waiting on the girl. She looked at me after 15 mins and said "none of my stuff is working and I can't call anyone. G to customer service" where I just was. At this point, after an hour struggling to pick up and online curbside order, I walked back to customer service and ask for a simple refund. After struggling at register for 10 more minutes, they tell me the system is down and can't process a refund. I asked for the store manager several times. After 15 more minutes, not a single manager appeared or responded. Several employees attempted to help but none of them knew what to do and seemed to be annoyed with me and my issues. After almost 1.5 hours, I gave up and told them to load my order so I could leave. Again, they could not find my pending pickup order so they had to run all over the place to fulfill the order like I just asked for it.

This location has a newer, more modern layout compared to the one on Loop 288. The aisles are wider, the flow of the store feels more open, and the larger self-checkout area makes the end of your shopping trip seem way less chaotic. We went during opening week, so it was pretty packed, but the store was still clean, well-stocked, and organized--plus it still had that "new store smell." Before going in, I checked the Target app and loaded up on Target Circle deals, which really added to the value of the trip. I spent some time in the clothing section and was pleasantly surprised--there were solid deals on graphic tees, and I found a bunch of shirts in my size that I haven't been able to find at the other Denton Target. The selection felt fresh and well-stocked, especially for a newly opened location. I'm looking forward to seeing how this location settles in--it's a great addition to the north side of Denton!
