I showed Miguel a few pictures of what I needed, and he wanted to make sure he understood exactly what I was looking for. I mentioned that I actually had the trimmer with me in my truck. With a grin, Miguel said, "Well, let's go take a look at it!" We walked outside, and before I knew it, Miguel was carrying the trimmer back into the store for me. He took it to the back and discovered they didn't have the part I needed in stock. But here's what impressed me: Miguel didn't come back and tell me he couldn't help me. He found a solution before he ever told me there was a problem. Once he figured it out, he wrote up a ticket, handed it to me, and told me to head to the checkout while he took care of the trimmer. I paid, and when I got to the front, Miguel was already there waiting for me with it. Then he offered to carry it all the way back out to my truck! I assured him I had it from here... The entire transaction took less than 10 minutes. That's what great customer service looks like--friendly, proactive, efficient, and focused on finding a solution rather than explaining why something can't be done. Miguel, along with the other staff members who helped me, absolutely lived up to the Ace Hardware reputation: "Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks!" Outstanding job, Miguel. Learned the Justin Ace Hardware was the closest store that had this grill in stock. Great fairly close should be simple. It's been anything but simple. Originally, I was under the impression the grill would be delivered on Tuesday, May 26th but as the order processed the delivery changed to Thursday, May 28th. I received no communication from Ace with any updates so I called the Ace Justin location and learned my grill was ready and it would be delivered in a few hours (Thursday morning). I also learned though that the Weber Griddle wasn't ready as it was in route to be delivered the next day. I learned the Ace Rhome location had a griddle and asked if they could stop and get it and as it would prevent a trip the following day. Great everything is lining up perfectly. I asked the guy the condition of the grill and told him I was pretty picky. No scratches or dents and to inspect it closely. He assured me it looked great. The delivery guy arrived within just a few hours and I joined him on the truck to give the grill a go over. It was super noticeable that it had scratches on the stainless area near the knobs, directly in front. I grab some stainless cleaner to make sure and sure enough it was "damaged" and I simply explained to the delivery person I couldn't accept it. He indicated they had problems with the guy who does the assembly but that he was friends of the owner. I'm not sure how the scratches got there but knew I wasn't buying a Weber grill for $1,700 that was damaged. I ended up calling Andrew, a manager and explained the situation. The driver was on the phone with another manager who insisted the Entire order be returned. Andrew apologized and the driver left with all 3 items. The next day the credit had not been processed. I called and spoke again with Andrew the next day and he indicated I needed to cancel the order via their online platform in order to get the credit. Great, signed on with him and canceled the order. Received a notification that it would take 1-2 days to process the credit. What? Ok no worries. 2 days go by and I call their web team since I placed the order via Aces Website. The CSR called the store, confirmed it had been returned and explains it would take 7-10 days for a credit to post. It was at that very point I became upset and asked to speak to a manager. He indicated I would need to speak to the store management team. What? I requested that he call them and get them on the phone so I wasn't going back and forth. I waited on hold for approximately 15 minutes until someone at the store jumped on. I believe his name was Mike. He indicated the issue was with the griddle but he was taking care of it and I should see the credit post shortly. Nope. Here I am and it's the weekend and no credit had posted to my American Express. I've already purchased another Weber Grill from Lowe's and it will be delivered on June 6th. Fingers crossed. I went with the Weber stealth model to avoid the unnecessary scratches to the stainless steel even though I just had a new secondary refrigerator delivered and Lowe's did an amazing job. Every step was communicated and they were on time, professional and best part no scratches. I like to buy local. But it's times like this where you learn a lesson. ACE Justin...DO BETTER! All this was unnecessary....

She asked for my phone number and found my profile. She didn't say "Yes, I need to see the coupon". I assumed (shame on me) she applied the $10 off. I load the plants, look at my receipt and the $10 off was not applied. She applied a different discount which was less than $10. I walked back and by now there is a line. In order to apply the coupon, she had to return all the items (enter each one) and then ring the sale again. I will not be back to the Denton location.

Went here with my parents to get my dad's horse some feed…read more The cashier was really sweet and she told us they had other animals in the back room. She mentioned a mini pig so I had to see it. Once we got back there she pointed out that there was a snake in one of the tanks. I asked if I could hold the snake but then I was not expecting the snake to be the size it was. I thought it was like a baby still. Lol so I was scared at first when she pulled it out and was like ehhhhh I don't think I wanna hold it. She goes to put it back in the cage and then I change my mind and wanted to hold it again, so shoutout to that lady for being patient with my crazy self. Anyways, I held this ball python and it actually wasn't bad at all. I've been playfully saying I wanted a pet snake for years but after holding this one I kind of actually really want one! This store was very clean and everyone who worked there was very nice! We received great service here and I'm sure my dad will make this his regular place for horse feed now. The guys who work there also load your car for you when you buy anything that they store in the warehouse so that was nice that we didn't have to carry the heavy bags of feed or anything.

I didn't mind waiting but what really pissed me off is that a guy comes out at 11:03 dragging his feet acting upset. So I just left him alone let him do his job and refill my propane tank. Once he was done he gave me my tank back then wrote the total in a paper so I can go pay, but in this entire process this guy never looks my way or acknowledges that I exist! So once he puts the ticket my way I grab it and tell him "thank you I appreciate it" and he just walks off!!! I will definitely just keep going to tractor supply in town, they have always been super friendly. Even on Sunday mornings lol!!

I needed the payments moved back one week. ie this upcoming Friday. I have (I thought) had this noted on my account several times. Yet they would call my phone to a harassing extent, that even the local police contacted the store about. (17 times in less than and hour while I was in a meeting with the CEO of my company). As well as hanging my my nephews door for over a half hour to the point they knocked the wreath off of my door. (Did not even pick it back up). Please bear in mind. Yes, this means that I'm always late, but I've never been more than 8 days late! And they know the exact dates. A friend of mine, they banged on her door for 23 minutes with a closed fist. We have the entire thing on ring door cam. She was THREE DAYS late on her payment because she had nearly died in an accident. And her daughter had already contacted the store about it. There is obviously something very wrong going on with this location and yet no one will step up. There is 11 accounts on just google reviews that if true, constitute as harassment to an extreme extent! If I can get some kind of confirmation that some kind of repercussion had been handed out to the management staff at this location, as well as an apology to ALL that have complained about feeling threatened in their own homes I will drop everything involved. But you have forced me to miss work, you have forced my nephew to MOVE out of his home and he's never even been a customer of yours, just lives at my past address! Apparently this store does not match paint. I took in a 7 year old can of their paint. The paint did not match - it was too dark - so I took it back hoping they could correct the color. The gentlemen there said it was the same formula and there was nothing he could do about it. When asked if he could lighten the paint to match the paint in the old can, he said that was not possible. He said he could darken the paint but not lighten it. I'm no paint expert but that doesn't make sense to me. Anyhow, I went to Ace Hardware and they matched to new paint to the old paint in the can.
