Ace has been amazing to work with. We got a lot of bids to do our gutters and they were extremely reasonable and they did amazing work. We got the faux penny copper and we get compliments on it everyday. We did have one seam that leaked and Angel came back super quickly and fixed the problem and it works perfectly! We also had to do a very specialized gutter under our water proofed deck and they did amazing. I would absolutely use them again. read more

0 stars. Required half the fee before even coming to the house ($5000). We needed new soffits after we had roof replaced and an exterminator to rid soffits of wasps and squirrels. The guy from Ace said he had it all sealed up so squirrels couldn't get back in. 2 months later the squirrel was back in the soffits. Called Ace. They said they would send someone out. No one showed. Called two more times. They said they would send someone out that day or next. No one showed. There are visible light holes from the attic space to the outside soffits. I had a bad feeling about this company when they wanted half the money up front without even meeting anyone. read more

My gutter suffered major damage from a wind storm and I called to get a quote. Eric came out 2 weeks later and gave me an estimate which was really good compared to other companies I had received bids from. I was told to pay 50% of the bid before they can schedule the repair. I paid my portion and was told due to the wind storms they were about 4 weeks out to make the repairs. A bit long, but ok. I was scheduled for the first week of October, 2021 for my repair. The week came and went. No call from Ace, no repair. I called 2 weeks later and Eric said he meant to call but things were backed up, I should be scheduled for the end of October. October came and went. No call from Ace, no repair. I call again. Now I am told they don't have the product due to shipping issues from the supplier. I was told they will call in November to update me. End of November, no call, no repair. I call again. I'm told they received product and I should get my work done by the end of the month. Nope. Still no call, no repair. Finally mid December someone shows up at 4 pm, but he was alone so he couldn't complete the job. The other employee that was to help had to get home. I call the next week to find out when the gutter will be installed and was told today. Finally. It took 4 months to complete my job. I understand shipping issues but I don't understand poor customer service. You had my deposit and not one time in 4 months did you let me know what was going on. I had to call over and over again. I would like to tell you about my experience with Ace Gutter. In November 2018 I contacted Chase with Ace Gutter to give me an estimate on rain gutter replacement. I was given my estimate on 03 December 2018. Ace Gutter replaced my rain gutter in January, and I had to call them back because the gutter looked like it had been pulled through the mud prior to being hung up on the roof. At that time I asked that they send another installer because I was not satisfied with the work that had been accomplished. Of course, they sent the same installer who wiped down the gutters to remover the mud. I did notice that the installer had damaged the ice-melting heat wire that I was going to reinstall. It was not until better weather in March 2019, that I found the damage that this installer had caused to the roof that had just been replaced. I contacted Chase with Ace Gutter and told him about what damage I had found. Chase came over, and at that time I showed him pictures of the damage. Now you would think that Ace Gutter would think that because there had been damage, Ace would quickly make repairs. No, this is not what happened. I had a discussion with Chase on 21 May 2019, yes I said May, that was because I was complaining about an installer who was to come due some more work at the house, a garage surround, but had no information about the repair that were to be done to my roof and rain gutter. It was at that time I was told that they had tried to fit me in, fit me in 2 months after they had damaged my home. Did they at that time show up to make the repairs, NO! Now we are in July 2019, when a supposed professional came to make the repairs on the damage that I had shown him in pictures I sent him so he knew all the damage. Did the damage all get repaired. Of course not! I paid almost $1000.00 for their work. Almost $1000.00. Now, this is my experience with Ace Gutter. Would I recommend them if you need rain gutter repair? NO!!!! But, the decision of if you would want to use them or not is up to you, this is just my experience. I would love to have had the ability to attach the picture, you would love them. read more

The person who gives the bid for the roofer company that we are going to use to do our roof recommended Ace. Reading these reviews and how we have been treated so far, I do not know why. They were to come out to give a bid. Waited, no show. Got an email saying they had tried calling. They had transposed some numbers and wasn't calling the correct number. But, we had an appointment, they should of come anyways. No need to call and confirm, we were there waiting for them. OK, replied to the email and gave them the correct number again. Three days now and still no reply. Definitely not going to proceed. read more

My wife and I are just finishing up with our new home, and some of the contractors have been very difficult to work with along the way. The streamline process with Ace was a refreshing change. We had an aweful experience. The installer was suppose to come on Dec 14th. That day my husand waited two hours for the installer to arrive. Finally, my husband called the company. The receptionist informed us that the installer couldnt make it today becausd a previous job wasnt finished. Without talking to my husand the installer re-booked the appiontment for the following Monday. We had the installer call us. Instead of aplogizing for the miscommunication, the installer tried to save the sale. We ended up asking for a refund. We met this company at the home show. Advice to everyone, do your research before going with any company! read more

Although they left screws and construction waste on the yard and walkway, the portion of the gutter work that Ace Gutter Inc completed was satisfactory, but this company didn't complete the job! They left out an existing gutter lift, a downspout that was supposed to be added, and also didn't fasten an existing gutter to the wall. For each of these, it was like pulling teeth to get them back out there to the property to complete the job. Eventually they completed two of the three items originally omitted, but only because I withheld payment. For the remaining item, they still didn't come out to simply attach the gutter to the house wall. Unfortunately, whole ordeal turned into a payment dispute. Considering the amount of extra time, hassle, and expense dealing with them cost us, we do not recommend hiring this company. read more

We had gutters and downspouts installed through Lowe's in Ogden and Ace Gutters did the work. Not a good experience at all. I took the afternoon off to be home for the install (we had the 1-3 time slot). Called the store at 2:30 to find out when the installer would be over (got quite the runaround from the installation department at Lowe's) to be told that my appointment had to be reschedule for the following day. The gutters were installed the following day and the installer left the yard a mess- screws and metal pieces were everywhere. The gutters leaked between my home and gutter. And they broke off a sprinkler head! After complaining and too many phone calls, the installer came back and added additional flashing, so now the gutters don't leak. However, even though Lowe's told me the installer was taking responsibility for the broken sprinkler, I was told in the end they wouldn't. So now we get to fix it. Not impressed and will NEVER go through Lowe's again for installation. And why I like to be home when work is being done. read more

Ace gutter is an incredible company to work with. I have a difficult roof line and have always had problems with my gutters. We have used other companies and have continued to have problems. Shouldve listened to the other review. Expensive and didnt really keep tabs on their jobs or workers. I waited 3 days for someone to come back and finish but they didnt know the job wasnt completed. Then noticed some thigs were off and had terrible customer service. I asked for someone to come out and he said "yeah when im in the area." Instead of being more attenitive to my concerns. Do not waist your time with these guys-- *Super high bid; more then others by 2X *Very rude and uninformed installer; *Not a certified electrician; *Unable or unwilling to provide amounts and details in bid; I met this company at the home show. The representative in the booth was clean cut and very informed on the process. He seemed trustworthy and ready to help. I need some heat tape so I signed up for a home visit and a bid. The guy who came to my house was not the same guy at the home show. This guy Jud, was ninety minutes late. He was very rude and not informed. He is not an electrician. He did send me a bid that was not very detailed ( on every quantity he put 1.00 including feet needed). I have had several bids for 120 feet of heat tape total in three locations. I was looking for one guy who would come and install the whole thing including the electrical fittings. Other bids I have are in the 2500.00 range. This guy bid 4680.00 for the same thing with out professional electrical certification. Included in the bid was almost 1000.00 extra to install snow stops in the roof which I do not need! These are available for 1.20 each and even if he got up on the roof and put in twelve, a reasonable amount is about 400.00-- not 980.00.. but as he so rudely told me he is not a roofer or an electrician so I would probably need to call one of them to fix his work.
