While I think they did a good job and I like their products, they were super expensive and I still had 14 more windows that needed to be replaced. In May of this year I started to seriously consider getting the rest replaced. Enter Alpine Exteriors. They provided the third bid and landed in the middle price wise. They were considerably less expensive than Champion (no surprise) and slightly more expensive than a no name company that came out selling cheap quality windows. But Alpine Exteriors quality, service, and selection really stood out. I met with the owner, Hiram Molloy, at my home and there was zero sales pressure and no games. He has access to a number of different windows at all different price points, so he was able to find something in my budget and a quality I was happy with. They were installed a couple weeks ago and that was the real test. I'm pretty OCD and I want perfection. I'm never fully satisfied because that would be impossible, but the installers did a nice job. They were friendly and detail oriented. I asked a lot of questions and spent a fair amount of time watching the install and they were courteous and obviously knew what they were doing. They also cleaned up the mess and used preventative measures around my furniture to keep the mess at a minimum. Upon final cleanup they collected all the stickers from the windows and placed them on copy paper so I could apply for the rebate. Hiram followed through on his promise and mailed me all the rebate paperwork with instructions. If you are looking for a quality window company that offers a competitive price and does what they say they are going to do, look no further than Alpine Exteriors.

Got to talking about plans for the door hole patch on the east side and the need to paint and fix more things - Kris mentioned he had crews able to do all the work needed. The price he quoted was as good as the roof & gutters cost. Again the crews did beautiful work putting up the hardy board siding to cover the patch - painting and installing beautiful aluminum soffit and fascia. I can't pick my jaw up of the ground. After 25 satisfactory years on our old roof, we contracted Kimball to complete some extensive roofing plywood repairs, re-flashing, re-membraning, and re-edging of the entire 6,000 SF roof. Per Gary's expert advice, plus Louie and Rohojolo outstanding installation, we ended up with a very attractive and fully sealed roof that will probably last twice as long as our previous roof. We now have a Tamko 50 year architectural shingled and ridged roof that can now withstand winds up to 150 MPH. SUPER. JOB WELL DONE !

If you like cost overruns, mistreatment, and half truths these are the people you should hire…read more I hired these people to repair my roof while going through medical treatment. I let them know I had some new panels that could be used on the roof which they hauled away and did not use. Then they put the same kind of panels on the roof and charged full bore price for them. There was no credit for the new panels they hauled away. The inspection was poorly done or they planned to do cost overruns all along. They ripped into the roof and then called and said it would be more than their bid. It was raining every other day so it was impossible to leave the roof open and find someone else. Since I was receiving medical treatment and they knew it I was unable to inspect that the work they claimed had been done. Then when they were done they didn´t inform us but just debited my account and claimed they couldn´t contact me. It is interesting they were able to contact me easily before that time. There was no credit given for the new panels they hauled away and Kimball claimed they were too short. Previous work had required the same size panels and these were so long. Apparently the panels shrink according to what Kimball said. They don´t shrink but that is the only way his statement could be true. He said he was going to return them but didn´t. Kimball has responded but does not address the real issues. As seems normal only half truths. I did complain to CPS of Utah and they told me that in this case I would have to sue since they are a mediation service and Kimball is not interested in mediation.
