Dustin came out to get our evaporative cooler set up for summer. He was incredibly friendly,…read morehelpful, and went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right. When we turned on the water to the cooler we discovered the water line was cracked and leaking, but Dustin worked with me to find a solution to make sure we got the cooler up and running same day, despite not having the length of line he needed. I really appreciated Dustin's willingness and enthusiasm to provide a workable solution for us. So many technicians would just shrug and suggest calling the office to schedule another time to address this issue or begrudgingly consider alternate approaches but Dustin went above and beyond to provide excellent customer customer service as if he owned the company himself, something I was pleasantly surprised to experience with a company as large as this. I will definitely be using My Buddy The Plumber again for all of my future plumbing and HVAC needs and recommend you to do the same! You know a company is doing something right when the employees are as exceptional as Dustin!

He wanted $4250 for the whole job. I needed a second opinion and called Affordable Garage Door. Sonny came out and said he could replace the motor for $575. I asked about the door itself, and he said it was fine, it just needed to be lubed and adjusted, which he did for free when he replaced the motor. I saved about $3600 by calling Sonny. What a great guy, and a great price! I will never call anyone else.

So I wanted to toot the horn in support of Clough Mechanical. He could have tried to get a new furnace replacement out of me. But as he tested for CO, he had me watch his monitor as the furnace ran...so I knew he wasn't going to lie and say I needed a furnace if I didn't. He even did some extra things than what we discussed to go the extra mile. I had a burner that wouldn't ignite until the gas poured out and reached the other flames causing a mini-explosion. He had it all fixed in a half hour and was very friendly...highly recommended!

I've hired Clough Mechanical many times over the years. I have probably been calling them for HVAC…read moreservice for over 10 years. They are not a big company. They are a small "ma and pa" company, but they always try hard and they don't gouge me on price. I've had bids from other companies that are 2 or 3 times as high as the bids from Clough. I'm sure it's partly because other companies may have way more overhead and advertising to pay for blah blah blah. That's all well and good, but I don't really want to pay a ton of money just because other companies have more overhead. I like to support the small, local companies. Thanks Dennis & Lou!
