These folks did an enlargement for me and matted it on foam board. Nice people, friendly service, new equipment, but I did note a technical error which sadly limited my opinion of the business. I gave them a 22 MP photo that I turned into a poster with some added text in Photoshop. It asked them to blow it up to about 14 inches (that's about 430 dpi, plenty of resolution for printing). I made the mistake of not presetting the pixels/inch resolution in Photoshop. Acegrapix staff did the processing in Photoshop and must have changed resolution and NOT unchecked the 'resample image' check box. Either that, or the printer was set to a comically low resolution. For those who know printing and/or photography, this is a rookie error. For those who are not, you can see what happens when you make this mistake -- check photos of this establishment, I uploaded 100% crops. As you can see, the shop made a jaggy mess out of my work. In either case, a check of the quality of the work (something you always do with matted enlargements) would have caught this error. Some folks would have demanded a reprint or would have given 1 star for this. But (a) this was an unimportant thing I did for a party and (b) their location is stellar for me. They will get another chance, but lesson learned -- I will only give them printing work that is 100% ready to print. read more

I was not happy with what I got from them, when I called to complain the guy on the phone said "What do want me to do about it" I wanted them to either correct the problem or give me a refund. I ordered two sided color business cards from them and I was even willing to take plain black and white cards to correct the problem and they wouldnt do it. So, They would not correct the problem and they would not give me a refund. Total waste of money using acegrapix. I will never to to Acegrapix again. I'm a little delayed in writing this extremely positive review but here goes....... Ace Grapix? You rock! I've used them for about 5 different things 5 different times and ALL of the staff is attentive, knowledgeable and will go above and beyond the call of duty if time allows. Usually my projects are very last minute so by now they are shrug their shoulders, roll their eyes and they just KNOW..... "oh its just Kimberley's way....." Not to say that I recommend that this is the way YOU should go about things, but it ends up being the way I HAVE to do things sometimes because I have been given no choice by others. If you can, please give them more lead time. It will be less stressful on everybody. Today, a very rude and arrogant potential customer came in and needed his stuff done "NOW!" as in "RIGHT NOW" and then Ace Grapix explained that it would be an extra $15.00 expedite fee (which is only fair mind you). When I was hit with the expedite fee....which was more times than one, I paid $20.00 and sometimes $25.00, in order to show my appreciation for their excellent service. They were able to meet my deadline and then some. Amazing how a few $ will work that way sometimes. Needless to say, I did NOT bribe them but showed my appreciation instead. It was not necessary to do what I did. Getting back to the story from today, this businessman, took out his cash and literally THREW the $15.00 at the girl who was trying to help him with his issues. Instead of listening to what she was saying, which was "YES, we can do this for a small fee", he was understanding in his lame, close-off brain that she was saying, "NO, we cannot meet your deadline. Period." Classic case of man shouting and demanding, person responding and then talking over each others words. GOD! I hate that! If anybody does THAT to me...... Talk OVER me......... Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Hope that guy learns his lesson one day. He probably won't. Some people are just like that. read more

There are times that I notice a mistake in my artwork and they were nice enough to let me make a quick change whereas at Kinkos they won't even let me touch the mouse. 2. Super fast! They work quickly and efficiently. They always finish my orders on the dates promised. 3. Awesome quality! Yay! I get my prints made here and they always come out marvelous! 4. I went to Acegrapix to get a large sized paper printed and since they are the only printers that are affordable and efficient AND have a flat bed printer, I knew I had to go straight to them. Jimmy was very nice and patient with me even though this was my first time printing something this large. I went there asking for a simple quote, nothing more - I needed to print tags/labels for my wedding day. I can be a very difficult person. Ace Grapix worked to fulfill all of my needs. I went in to make 6 different business cards, albeit I had the designs already made, Nikko did the formatting work into proofs for free. Being the difficult person I am I submitted a change after the proofs were submitted and Niko still accommodated my request! I received my cards a few days later and could not be happier! I work at a 300 person company near by and we use Acegrapix regularly. We always have tight turnarounds that they meet every time and have reasonable prices. We have used other printers close by and they can never meet the deadlines or are double the price. Quality is great too and Nikko and David have saved me more times than I care to count. read more

I COMPLETELY vouch for Bobby V. I'm getting really upset just thinking about my own experience with the people and the owner of this place. I went to Acegrapix to create 5 canvases of my engagement pictures for my wedding. When i went to pick up my canvases, i guess they had accidentally printed on wrong canvases so they had 2 copies of each picture I ordered. So after I paid for my order, the girl tries to sell me on the EXTRA canvases they accidentally printed. She tells me that i can get it for a discounted price, for $100. That's considered a discount?? I paid $120 per canvas which were thicker so i'm thinking the thinner ones should be less than $120.... so maybe $100 should be about original price. SO, UMMMM...... NO THANK YOU. So i passed on them and asked her what she was going to do with my pictures. She tells me, "WE'RE GOING TO DUMP IT IN THE TRASH" with the most rude voice. I was completely shocked and disgusted hearing what she just said. WHO says that to someone about their personal photos?? Not only that, they were my ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS! At that point, i was in disbelief that there are people that are this disgusting! Absolutely no heart or any morals. The situation didn't get any better when the owner stepped in to handle the situation. Completely unprofessional. By that time, i still haven't received my original order, so I just waited until my order was complete, and NEVER set foot in there again. Completely shocked in disbelief I started crying bcuz i didn't know what to do!!!! I will NEVER do business with them ever again. They have absolutely no ethical value. Oh, and that picture of Sunglasses girls on their wall, that was MY file that I used for my business, and i told them not to use and of course they used it anyway and BLEW IT UP even bigger than my own work and have it posted on their entire wall of their store. ................................. Everything i wrote is absolute truth. NO BS. Not sugar coated for bs sympathy or anything. Straight truth. Methinks not for sure. Absolutely zero customer service. Mediocre price. Mediocre product. I ran three sets of business cards, and a small run of circle labels. I requested cards asap and was told 3-5 days minimum. The stickers were off-center when we peeled them from the backing. When I asked if anything could be done, I was told via e-mail: Jackie is saying that there should be extra quantities. Are all stickers are bad? Your artwork didn't have any bleeding. It is hard to cut on the lines exactly. If the order was 1000 qty. or more, it could've printed on Big Offset printer with pre-maid die-cutter which costs $400 ~ $500.00 Even with more accurate cutting, revised file would've been requested. Your order was 25 qty. It had to run from largeformat inkjet printer + contour cutting. We charged you $30.00 which was really reasonable price. You can compare prices with any other printing shops. Please understand reprint will lead to same result. I am afraid we can't help you at this time. .....it would have been helpful to know that a low volume run would be inferior and to allow us to make a better decision. Ironically -- the runs I've done subsequently at Vista Print are centered, cheaper, and smaller quantity. Oh -- and no delivery 5 blocks down the road, but I could pay for shipping. This must have been the worst place I have ever been to. After being a GD for 25 years I have never experience such rude people ever. They were basically saying here is your print now leave. All i needed was some cardboard, yes cardboard to put over my print as i drove home. They made such a BIG deal about it. That is not a way, at all to treat a customer. Customer is always the one you treat with care and love when come into your business. A guy in the back had helped me out but the so called owner guy, was rude and said you should be charged for the cardboard. Unbelievable. I give this place a F-. Never been to anyone this rude. I love this place. They are conveniently located in the South Park area of downtown. Eat that Minuteman!!! They have all the equipment and resources for professional results without the attitude. Hector, the large format manager, ensured that my portfolio is the best it can possibly be when it comes to printing. The prices are reasonable and they do have a $20 minimum for credit card charges but you get the most out of your money for less. I am singing the praises of this printing company to the high heavens. They have found a regular customer in me. read more
