Walked into Office Depot on a Sunday afternoon because I needed a new mouse for my laptop today,…read morenot in two days when Amazon decides to grace me with a delivery. I was greeted at the door, pointed toward the Great Wall of Mice, and honestly felt like royalty for a solid 45 seconds. I browsed, I compared, I made my choice. Easy. Smooth. Efficient. And then... the journey took a turn. Because now it was time for The Great Checkout Quest of 2025. You'd think holding a product in your hand near a register would summon an employee, like retail Beetlejuice. Nope. Not here. Instead, I had to go on a little safari and eventually spotted Marco, crouched over a display like he was examining ancient ruins. I got three looks from him -- Look #1: "Ah." Look #2: "Still there?" Look #3: "If I ignore him hard enough, maybe he'll evaporate." Zero acknowledgment. Not even a head nod. Nothing. So I walked over and asked if anyone was working the front. He says, "I'll be right with you." And then proceeds to move toward the register at a pace that would make a sloth question its life choices. I've seen dial-up internet move faster. Once we finally get to the register, the real priority becomes clear: not my money, not my time, not my sanity -- my phone number. Because of course, nothing says customer service like interrogating me for loyalty points I will never use. Got checked out, grabbed my mouse, and basically sprinted out like I'd just escaped retail purgatory. If I didn't need that silly little mouse today, I promise you I'd be clicking "Buy Now" on Amazon from the comfort of my couch. And honestly? That's exactly where my future office supply needs will be handled. Thanks for the adventure, Office Depot. Really.

I'd been carrying around some used ink cartridges to bring back to recycle. And when we were a few doors away, we saw this store. So first, I stopped by the register to do so. As a member of their loyalty program, you get $2 per returned cartridge. I had a prior credit that I needed to use before the end of the month, and I needed some new ink for a newer printer. It turned out to be a good stop. Got what I needed at an even better price -- after using the credit.

I went to this Office Depot location to get help printing a document. Having difficulty printing…read morethe doc, a "manager" had to assist me. His name was Shaun. When I asked for help, his response was, in a loud, argumentative voice "I don't have to assist you. It's self service. It's not my job to help you.I'm not here to help you." He actually screamed at a paying customer. I'm not sure how desperate Office Depot is in needing managers, but this rude, disrespectful POS does not fit the bill. (It has nothing to do with this review, but Shaun smelled like he hadn't bathed in about a month). To whoever runs this particular OD... customers will NEVER return with such abominable treatment. If you've wondered why business has slowed down and you're not making as much money as you would think, Shaun might be a BIG part of the reason.

MOVE FORWARD TO THE NEXT LOCATION! Customers met with limitations…read more Services best fitting to customer was not offered. Horrible customer service. Simple print jobs turned complex and overpriced. No customer friendly faces in the print area. (Gentleman at the general checkout area did makd a difference) Misleading machines FORCING your self service work into (FULL SERVICE) (NO USB USE). No offer of front and back further in reading your print job prices. Request black and white only, color still used and charged for it. Process for copy and print full services was clearly shared upfront. Each step you found out after the fact. The cost was ridiculous as many I watched came into the store to use the self service machines identified with USB inserts and instructions of how to use the inserts (I took pictures) only to find out 30 minutes later as store associate watched while sipping on a drink as we're inserting credit card information for each machine and attempting to use 3 different machines with the USB that would never work. We get in line just to ask the question about the machine with the USB inserts and instructions, only for the store associate to smack lips and say "oh that's not going to work on those machines, you will need to come over here (counter) for that." Interestingly, I go to the counter, the store associate surprise me again by saying "yeh, this is going to now be full service at the counter." What! Due to timing, I am moving with the foolishness to get the job done but this is not ok. Store associate builds up the prices, prints receipts, and says go to another counter across the way to pay and she will begin printing. After payment was made and we returned with receipt, store associate surprise me again and states "yeh now I will do the printing." I am furious! You haven't printed the simple job? What! Now the more waiting for a simple job that could've been completed on the machines myself in less than 10 minutes. (No exaggeration) Store associate begin the printing, only to return to me 8 minutes later and tell me she now have to go on the floor to find more of the same paper I asked for the job to printed on since the simple print job elevated to another level due to inefficiency of the location. Unbelievable! To save time and the moment of telling this store location something unkind, I asked the store associate to please print the remaining pages on your available paper accessible to you. God knows if she goes on the floor, if she would get lost or how long that would take to return. (Sigh) Horrific, unnecessary, unprofessional, and far from customer centered. See more on Google reviews. Next location to you may be a better option to keep your day on track and PEACEFUL!

My nightmare with 90 Degree Office concepts began when one of my clients needed a new conference…read moreroom table for their office I was furnishing. I found this company online, called and spoke to Bernie about what my client was looking for. He touted himself as a builder of HIGH QUALITY, CUSTOM office furnishings and made representation he could produce a table for my customer with the amenities we needed: -9x5 -6 Outlets that included 2 HDMI and 2 CAT 5 ports -covers for the power/data that sit flush with the tabletop when not in use -Casters on the bottom so the table could easily be moved -Extra sturdy too and ends because the table would often be leaned on/sat on during presentations -Legs off the floor enough so the power cord could be pulled through the bottom of the leg Coincidentally he was local to my area in South Florida, so I met him to drop off my deposit check and look at laminate samples. I probably should have been weary of his unprofessionalism when he soon thereafter text me asking me on a DATE (see pics). I was appalled and disgusted, but I chose to ignore the message as I knew he had my $4,000 deposit and I needed to get the project completed to meet my obligation to my customer, thinking Bernie would 'get the hint', and just trying to get through this now awkward and unpleasant experience. I wish it had been that easy. So can you guess how many of the custom designed details we received on our $7,300+ table? ONE. The table was 9x5. That is literally the ONLY thing they had correct. The table is cheaply fabricated. The top is a single 3/4 piece of plywood that bows on both ends as it's literally just ends hanging in mid air. No support on the ends whatsoever. Please message me for video of the ends flexing wildly with light touch. The HDMI and CAT5? They are just HOLES. When I asked where my data was - mind you I paid many hundreds of dollars additional for - Bernie said "we don't wire anything". So I paid $600 for 4 holes? Yet they installed a USB jack I never ordered. And you couldn't possibly wire them up yourself like he says you need to, because they are sealed up inside the table. It would need to be completely disassembled to access the holes. Further, none of these outlets are even centered and aligned. Think it couldn't get worse? It does. At the ends of the power data there's RAW PLYWOOD on all sides. His response "if we finished that section the covers would sit 1/16 above the tabletop" Seriously Bernie? Because you can't properly design/build the height of the cover you just leave it raw wood and act like that acceptable?? Don't believe it could be this bad? - see the pictures for yourself. And the legs weren't high enough off the ground for us to get the power cord through (per the specs of our 'custom' design) so I can't plug it into an outlet to power it up anyway. To top it off, the edges were cracked and it doesn't roll. This is an amateur job - poorly designed and poorly executed. This table was constructed by someone who has absolutely no clue what they are doing, no concept of physics or engineering and no concern for producing a quality product. Even the two people Bernie sent out from his company stated it was a terrible design and they could not help me. Bernie has had nothing but ridiculous excuses ranging from blaming the moving company for "not assembling it properly" to him "not knowing how to modify standard designs" (That's what CUSTOM means, no?) and the most perplexing one that I (the CUSTOMER) didn't properly the design the support system of the table. Yes that's right - although I don't work there, don't build tables, never was asked or told Bernie anything about how to design the support system, or any other system, that's why he says the table is flimsy junk. Clearly it makes no sense whatsoever that you hire a custom furniture maker and you, the customer, would ever be relied upon to engineer the product. In speaking with Mr. Fairchild to find a resolution, he offered only to make cheap fixes that would not maintain my original design specs, instead he will add wheels but that will raise the table height, Or he will put laminate on the raw wood but that will raise the covers above the top, just to name a few. The most disturbing part of his offers was in the midst of suggesting these ridiculous "fixes" he sent yet another text stating "if I pull this off you have to have dinner with me...." (see pics) To say the least, I'm sickened and disturbed by my entire experience with Mr Fairchild and his company. Every aspect of my dealings with him has been the worst of my career. The product is not professional nor is Mr. Fairchild's conduct. I've since had no choice but to have another company rebuild and modify the table (including adding a full steel support structure) costing me several thousands of dollars, weeks of time, and untold damages to my client who's facility has been rendered useless.

My main focus of this visit was to get a chair for my desk- preferably one without wheels. I had been looking all around and figured if an office supply store didn't have what I wanted, I'd probably never find anything. I decided to take a look around before I hit what I actually needed. They have a ton of stuff here. Printers, paper, general office supplies like Kleenex, Sharpies - which I love, printer paper, and the list goes on and on. I was asked a few times if I needed assistance, which I appreciated. The back is where the desks and the chairs are. They didn't have a wide variety of wheel-less chairs, but I was able to find one that did work. If I needed one with wheels, they certainly would have had what I wanted. The cashier was super friendly and did her absolute best to assist me. Who knows when I'll need to come back here, but I'm glad I did. I was kind of pleasantly surprised. I picked up my desk chair and few things for my office that I wasn't expecting. Overall, not bad!

He had two models in stock neither of which were on the display so I have no idea what they look like. Ugh!!! Office depot needs to get their shit together.
