I spent a little over 1 week with CWTutoring preparing for the SAT and I couldn't be happier with the progress I've made. The person who tutored me was a senior named Chris who got a 1390 on his SAT and i've felt much better that a student only a year older than me and took the SAT was prepping me for it. Chris was always well-prepared for our study sessions and his patience and clear explanations made a huge difference in my understanding of everything that was going to be on my SAT. Chris was also very flexible and responsive to messages with scheduling, which I really appreciate. I recommend CWTutoring to anyone looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable tutor. I have been a licensed HHA since 2019 by the Department of Heath and currently attend college for Social Work and am a 4.0 college student and without a doubt dodged a bullet with potentially being trained with inaccurate information and or not all of the pertinent information as it pertains to the classes. If a program fails to provide basic pertinent information such as their will be a quiz during this orientation/ interview what else are they gonna leave out... That's dangerous and creates unprepared and potentially misinformed future EMT's I was invited to attend the Senior Care sponsored EMT program Orientation/ Interview in February of 2025 it was never mentioned that I would have to take a test and upon taking that test I scored a 9/10 and was invited to continue to interview with Senior Care on another day which it was never mentioned that their is a two part interview. I ended up getting covid and was unable to attend that second interview and had sent an email and requested to reschedule that second interview however, nobody replied to me. I signed up for the next sponsored orientation and was invited to attend again Thursday, May 22nd, 2025 and attended. There was no mention yet again that I was required to take the same test that I took last time I came in less than 6 months ago, Obviously I was not aiming to score high on the same test I was aiming to simply pass which I did and got a 7/10 not knowing that that this program does not accept those that score 8 or lower which I found out literally yesterday after I pressed Leah for the truth on the phone yesterday which is bias. Upon speaking to Leah on the phone yesterday I wanted to follow up and see if they would be letting me in this sponsored class and explained to her why I scored low and to advocate for myself to start the conversation off she stated " why did you call us for this you could have sent an email" I felt like saying well i would have if you guys had replied to my last one but kept it to myself. Long story short she stated that we do not accept people into the program who score 8 or below. I argued that passing is passing and that my college GPA and my healthcare experience should trump that exam which is logical and practical argument she indicated that they would not accept and being very cloak and dagger and I asked flat out are you accepting me into this program yes or no and she stated no. My time and money was wasted traveling from Far Rockaway. This program has no respect for my time at all but in the end I do not want to be associated with with a program that engages in the shady and bias business practices but in the end it worked out for the best. A snake will always be a snake no matter how many times it sheds its skin.........

My classmates and I had a significant amount of time to practice on adult/pediatric dummies and the instructor do a great job preparing you not only for the skills assessment but the written EMT certification exam. Once you are let in, you are guided to the elevators and checked into the test site. Order in which you get checked in depends on when you get there. I would estimate maybe 10-20 minutes in between getting checked in and starting the test. Test proctors were extremely attentive. Personally only took 45-60 seconds to check out or in during breaks. This might be because it was a pretty small testing center, maybe 10-20 ppl testing at a time. Things were explained very thoroughly. Phones are put in bags to ensure you don't use them during breaks. Also you are not allowed to take off ur sweater while taking the test (because it causes noise for other test takers) so make sure you adjust during the breaks. Proctors were good about letting us know the temperature of the room. At the time it was 75 in the actual test room, even tho it was colder in the break room. Would recommend just a t shirt and no sweater in test room but bringing layers for your break. There was a water fountain there in case you forgot water. They give you a marker and a reusable notepad. Make sure you ask them to test the marker before they give it to you. Some don't work. Overall great experience. Would recommend

I've taken two exams with Pearson in the…read morepast and both times I've found the system in place to be efficient and pleasant (or as pleasant as one can be when taking an exam). It's important to note that in this particular building, the earliest you can arrive is half an hour before your appointment. Any earlier, and the security guard will force you to leave the building (they will not let you stay in the lobby). When you arrive at the security desk in the middle of the lobby, they already have your name on a list with all other test takers so you just need to show your ID to verify who you are. Upon entering the suite, you again show your ID (and a credit card or something else with your signature) to the guy up front. They give you a set of instructions to read over and when you're done, you get your picture taken. Depending on the test you're taking, you may also have to get a pulse reading. You then stash all your stuff in a locker and take your ID, locker key, and maybe a calculator if one is permitted to the entrance of the exam room. Your proctor then goes over rules with you (basically whatever you need whether it's to go to the bathroom or you need more scrap paper, you just raise your hand and the proctor comes to you). The proctor then walks you to your seat and logs you into your exam. You're taking your exam in a room with a bunch of other people separated by cubicle walls and there's a timer on your computer. This center also had two clocks on the walls so you can check what time it is. Noise canceling headphones are also on your desk and ear plugs are available upon request. Once you're done, you go to the front and there's usually a printout. Either you get your results right away or the printout instructs you on when to expect results. You get your stuff out of the locker and you're free to leave. The staff at this location are all super friendly and efficient so definitely come here if you're an anxious test taker like me and want the moments leading up to your exam to go smoothly.

My mom unfortunately had an aneurysm in her right eye; very scary ailment to have. However, with the right medical care one can survive this. This hospital has excellent pre-op and post op follow up with my mom. Pre surgery, my mom knows exactly what to expect and how to prepare with detailed instructions and explanations given to her. Post op also is top notch; very attentive and caring care. Highly recommend this hospital.

I had a pretty smooth testing experience here at Pearson. Facility was clean, environment was…read morequiet, and tech worked without any issues! There was a good amount of seats and clocks in the waiting/break area. Lockers were big enough to fit a full backpack (and maybe a little more). No issues with the keys. Hangers available for bigger jackets. The center doesn't open until 730am, but there is an adjacent room where test takers can hang out. Phones must be turned off once you enter (even in the break area) and they require proof during your initial registration. Bathrooms were around the corner. Staff were polite for the most part, but also strict as expected. Compared to other testing centers I've been to, I appreciated how attentive they were to people waiting to enter back into the testing rooms (vs me trying to catch their attention so my break time doesnt run out). The entrance to the building is currently tucked away and next to the Zara construction boards. You'll see a set of resolving doors and a bright, silvery lobby.
