Our product specialist Keyshon Taylor did a great job of comparing what we thought we wanted with other models and other similar popular brands. We feel this will outlast any other unit we may have purchased somewhere else. We picked the Speed Queen TR7 because of the features - and selected the Howard's folks to do the delivery & installation. It was in stock and set up for the NEXT DAY. Really? Fantastic. The install team was there exactly when they said they'd be there. In fact they were early - and it was raining! They hustled the old unit out, waited while we cleaned up the dust bunnies, and then got the unit set up, tested, balanced and running in a flash. We can't say enough about the help we got all around. Thanks, Howard's team! You've earned a new loyal customer.

This is the 3rd time I came back to Howards to purchase appliances because of Diane Dao. This time…read moreshe helped us purchase the whole home's luxury appliances package. She was articulated with providing all the needed specs for all of Miele appliances to make sure that it would fit with our kitchen design and layout. Diane was very knowledgeable about Miele and made this whole stressful situation enjoyable and lovely. She went above and beyond to make sure that our appliances arrive on time and scheduled delivery times that fit well with our construction timeline. She followed through with every single delivery and provided us completed serial numbers to register our warranty. It was truly amazing to have Diane Dao as our sale rep because she was attentive, passionate, and patient with every customers and every purchase from small to big. She took care of us and our purchase until the very last day. I will always come back to Diane Dao if I need to purchase anymore appliances in the future!

We've all heard the expression "if it sounds too good to be true, then it is." Well my experience…read morewith Western Appliance Warehouse proves that expression is false. We were surprised when our nearly new refrigerator abruptly failed! We watched several YouTube videos on point and found the right refrigerator for us. Then we Googled info at Costco, Home Depot, Sam's Club, Lowe's , and Best Buy. Every one of those sellers was problematic. Refrigerator price, installation price, delivery schedule, delivery price, and removal fee were all at issue with one or more of all of the sellers! Then the stars aligned, and we found Western Appliance Warehouse. Factotum, Keimora, puts a lovely face and caring way on the Company and the owner, Eric, is totally knowledgeable and understanding. Together they are a team you will have on YOUR side--working to solve your issues. There is NO sales pressure. They worked to provide the refrigerator we wanted even though the did not normally stock either that Brand or Model. They resolved all of our problems presented by the big box stores! As a matter of facr, we we so pleased with their refrigerator solutions, we simultaneously purchased a new dish washer to replace ours which was functional but ineffective. I doubt we will ever shop for any appliance anywhere else! Sincerely, Kenneth Cassell

Everything went extremely well! I'm a returning customer and very happy with Tim's customer…read moreservice, knowledge, and technical skills. I initially called on AT Appliance in 2020 to service my refrigerator motor. When my refrigerator was leaking water this time (6 years later) I found my previous receipt of service and called AT Appliance again. They were very responsive and scheduled me for next day service. Tim called me before his arrival and was able to repair the leak and also returned today to replace the water dispenser part that I requested. Looking at my previous receipt from 2020 it turned out Tim was the same technician that helped me back in 2020. I was pleased to realize this and also to experience the same quality work that was done back then. Tim really went above and beyond to deliver reliable quality service. His work is honest with transparency, clean and organized. I appreciate reading reviews of other customer's true experiences and wanted to make sure to write this review to share with others that are looking for a creditable appliance service. I highly recommend Tim's service.

Since the cooktop is older he had to try to find the parts so it couldn't be fixed right away (which was totally understandable). However, after texting back and forth over the next few weeks he basically just stopped communicating and following up altogether and left me hanging. Mind you I had already paid the diagnosis fee of $55.00, which would have been applied to the repair. But now I'm just out that money with my stove still not working right. Not sure if he's just too busy or doesn't want to bother with the job since it's an older unit but the lack of communication and follow-through is disappointing.

I had an outstanding experience with this business during every part of the process!…read more Last week, my one year old very expensive Speed Queen (SQ) dryer, which apparently even the guys at the firehouse can't kill, stopped heating. With a mystery on my hands and rage in my heart, I had multiple interactions with SQ. They initiated a ticket with a local service provider, whom I immediately yelped and learned were widely despised! No way! When I found that Coast Appliance Services, with their incredible reviews, were an alternate option for Speed Queen servicing, I jumped at the chance to work with these folks. My initial phone call was quick, easy, and friendly. I received the confirmation call I expected the day before my appointment and was thrilled that they had noted and were trying to accommodate my work schedule. The day of, I received a 20-30 minutes to arrival text and found Edgar in my driveway exactly within that window. Edgar was super professional, efficient, and effective, and the work area was so clean that even my pack of pit bulls, who needed to do a full investigation of Edgar's work after he left, couldn't find anything weird to snack on or track around the house. Amazing! I really appreciated that in a stressful situation, Edgar and this team were so on the ball and keen to explain what they found, what would happen, and that I could call them directly for any future issues. An added bonus? Our dryer dries again! Life is way easier when your dryer just, you know, dries. For those annoying times when it doesn't, I recommend contacting these folks immediately. I've already shared their info and my experience with them with friends and family, and if any of my appliances misbehave in the future, this number will be the one I call! I hope you'll do the same!

This review will tell you everything you need to know about Coast Appliance Services…read more My refrigerator was making a very loud noise. I called another repair company who came to my home, and quoted me over $700 to replace my battery and battery encasement. The man was very young, and I suspected he had no clue what was wrong. I paid the mandatory $100 service fee and said no thank you. (See my other review) Then I called Coast Appliance! They came over right away (father and son, nice family business) and had a look. Within 10 minutes- he tells me I had a loose fan that was knocking around!! He tightened some screws, and VOILA my noise is gone!!! He didn't charge me anything besides the service fee!! This level of honesty and integrity is worth more to me than anything. More than just the $700 that he saved me, it made my heart burst just knowing good people still exist. You can call this company and KNOW that you will be treated fairly and be told the TRUTH about what your appliance needs. I will be calling this company from now on for all my appliance service needs. Thank you so much!! You made my day sir!!!

The guy I spoke to said special orders were taking 8-12 weeks, so be patient. I went online on 12/5/25 to see if Howards was still locally based. What I found out is that S5, a Newport Beach based private equity firm bought Howards in April, 2025. I also found in the OC Register that Howards laid off its employees on 12/4/25, and closed operations: WTF?!?!?!?!?! I immediately disputed the charge with my credit card company. I am not going to pay for something I did not receive. Its not the consumer's fault the private equity firm appears to not have done its homework, and now has to close a local business founded in 1946 down.

It turned out the freezer I wanted was out of stock, but they were able to get me a comparable one. They gave me a great deal on it as well! Furthermore, they were willing to deliver for a fee which was great because I had broken my leg a few weeks ago. They even offered to help me unbox the freezer; I couldn't have done it without them with my hurt leg!
