Our product specialist Keyshon Taylor did a great job of comparing what we thought we wanted with other models and other similar popular brands. We feel this will outlast any other unit we may have purchased somewhere else. We picked the Speed Queen TR7 because of the features - and selected the Howard's folks to do the delivery & installation. It was in stock and set up for the NEXT DAY. Really? Fantastic. The install team was there exactly when they said they'd be there. In fact they were early - and it was raining! They hustled the old unit out, waited while we cleaned up the dust bunnies, and then got the unit set up, tested, balanced and running in a flash. We can't say enough about the help we got all around. Thanks, Howard's team! You've earned a new loyal customer.

She followed through with every single delivery and provided us completed serial numbers to register our warranty. It was truly amazing to have Diane Dao as our sale rep because she was attentive, passionate, and patient with every customers and every purchase from small to big. The guy I spoke to said special orders were taking 8-12 weeks, so be patient. I went online on 12/5/25 to see if Howards was still locally based. What I found out is that S5, a Newport Beach based private equity firm bought Howards in April, 2025. I also found in the OC Register that Howards laid off its employees on 12/4/25, and closed operations: WTF?!?!?!?!?! I immediately disputed the charge with my credit card company. I am not going to pay for something I did not receive. Its not the consumer's fault the private equity firm appears to not have done its homework, and now has to close a local business founded in 1946 down.

I found an set on sale at Best Buy, but the holiday deal wasn't great and the wait time was over a month! I looked all over town & online and decided to try Howard's, too. They had one of the sets I was looking for at an amazing price with the holiday sale & rebates. I really should have come here first! David A. and Carlos were very helpful on my 2 visits before buying and were very knowledgeable about all the brands and features. That's very helpful when trying to pick the right brand. While Howards sells high volume, the delivery time was much shorter time frame than expected for this popular LG set. When the items were delivered, the workers were extremely careful with installation and both the new set was in mint condition. I'm thrilled with the new LG set and the deal I got at Howard's and appreciate the excellent customer service David A., Carlos and the two delivery men provided. 5 Stars!

Everything went extremely well! I'm a returning customer and very happy with Tim's customer…read moreservice, knowledge, and technical skills. I initially called on AT Appliance in 2020 to service my refrigerator motor. When my refrigerator was leaking water this time (6 years later) I found my previous receipt of service and called AT Appliance again. They were very responsive and scheduled me for next day service. Tim called me before his arrival and was able to repair the leak and also returned today to replace the water dispenser part that I requested. Looking at my previous receipt from 2020 it turned out Tim was the same technician that helped me back in 2020. I was pleased to realize this and also to experience the same quality work that was done back then. Tim really went above and beyond to deliver reliable quality service. His work is honest with transparency, clean and organized. I appreciate reading reviews of other customer's true experiences and wanted to make sure to write this review to share with others that are looking for a creditable appliance service. I highly recommend Tim's service.

They were polite, professional, reasonably priced, and very patient for payment (our fault hehe). The -1 star is only for the fact that the correct diagnosis was one that chatGPT suggested (a faulty coil) as opposed to their more expensive original diagnosis of a faulty valve. Thanks AI! This is the second time we've used their services and will continue to do so, as alas these older but more reliable machines of ours are starting to show their age.

Eric helped us right away, and let me just say he is extremely knowledgeable and so personable. There was zero pressure, just honest answers and efficient service. It took us about 5 minutes to pick the fridge we wanted, and another 5 minutes in the office with Eric to go over delivery details. That was it, in and out in about 10 minutes total. Delivery was just as smooth. For reference, delivery was $50 and haul away of the old fridge was $35, which is incredibly convenient and reasonable. Our new fridge arrived the very next morning, and Steven, who handled the delivery, was amazing. He hauled away our old fridge, set up the new one, and even connected the water line for the ice and water. He was professional, helpful, and made the whole process stress free. From start to finish, this experience was efficient, honest, and reliable, exactly what you want when dealing with an appliance emergency. This is officially the only place I'll shop for appliances moving forward. I highly recommend checking here before going to the big name retailers. & only if they don't have what you need would I even consider looking elsewhere. So convenient, so honest, and so reliable. Highly recommend.

He's a natural problem solver who anticipates issues before they arise, which makes a huge difference. Doug is also incredibly responsive. Warranty Experience with Chef's Toys and Mulberry Technology…read moreInitial Purchase and Expectations In 2023, we invested a total of $26,472.61, which included taxes and two warranty insurance plans, for a 3-door KINTORA refrigerator and a 2-door KINTORA freezer. Our initial experience was smooth and hassle-free, largely thanks to our salesperson, Estaban Aguirre. Unfortunately, we later discovered that Estaban was no longer with the company. The Issue Arises On March 6, 2026, the hinge of our 3-door KINTORA refrigerator broke, rendering the refrigerator unusable. Since we had purchased a warranty, we immediately reached out to Estaban for assistance, only to learn from Raul Flores that Estaban was no longer employed with Chef's Toys. Raul provided us with contact information for Mulberry Technology, who was supposed to handle our warranty claims. Challenges with the Warranty Process This marked the beginning of a frustrating ordeal. It quickly became apparent that Chef's Toys was not well-acquainted with Mulberry Technology. Raul initially gave us an incorrect contact number for starting our claim. He directed us to Joshua Wohl at Mulberry, who, while not involved in claims processing, was helpful enough to connect us with the appropriate department--after we had already experienced several unhelpful responses from Raul. After sending our purchase order to Karime, our contact at Mulberry, we learned that Chef's Toys had never registered our protection plan with Mulberry or transferred the necessary funds for our warranty. We attempted to follow up with Raul but received no response until we escalated our concerns to Chef's Toys' corporate office. Unfortunately, reaching out to their main line at 714-662-2433 during business hours of M-F between 9am-5pm only led to a voicemail, and our emails through their website also went unanswered. This is TERRIBLE! Resolution and Lingering Frustrations Eventually, Raul from Chef's Toys responded and offered a courtesy repair for our refrigerator door but informed us that our remaining warranty coverage would not be honored. This was frustrating, as we had already paid for the warranty. During this period, on March 25, the Health Department visited and deducted points from our inspection due to the non-functional equipment. We promptly notified Raul about the urgency, as another inspection was scheduled for April 6. Fortunately, the Health Department accepted our communication with Raul and a photo of the completed repair as proof. The entire process--from the breakdown on March 6 to the repair on April 6--took a full month. This delay was disappointing, especially given that waiting for a part should not have justified such a lengthy timeline; someone could have delivered the part to expedite the repair.

We had the most wonderful experience in the paint department on Friday evening…read more We have a large building in need of painting - trim and doors, with some stucco patching & painting thrown in. We had a paint chip from the stucco & wanted to get a sample mixed that we could test before committing to a gallon. Mac stepped in, said he could do it, & to swing back by in 10-15 minutes. We wandered the store, picking up other supplies for our project & then came back to make decisions about rollers. Mac came over & spent 10 minutes sharing his knowledge on paint viscosity, roller thicknesses, paint application & it was all done with kindness & making certain we understood. I call customer service like this the "Nordstrom" approach, where sharing thoughts can be done without arrogance or talking down to the customer. Mac was definitely going above & beyond with us BUT it's obvious that he treats all customers like that. Lowe's - you've got a great employee in the paint department. Thanks to Mac for your insight on our plight!!

I've had multiple bad experiences at this Lowe's, but an incident from about two weeks ago finally…read morepushed me to leave a review. A few months ago, there was an employee working self-checkout who seemed completely opposed to the concept of self-checkout. Instead of letting customers scan and pay for their own items, he insisted on doing it himself, argued with customers for no apparent reason, and turned what should have been a two-minute transaction into a frustrating ordeal. Then came the recent trip to the garden center. The only employee around was the cashier. We asked where the flower bulbs were, and her response was essentially, "I'm just a cashier, I don't know." Now, I don't expect every employee to know the exact location of every product in the store, but if you're working in the garden center, flower bulbs are about as basic as it gets. At the very least, I expected an attempt to help. Instead, we got a shrug. It somehow got worse at checkout. We asked whether some bulbs that had already started sprouting qualified for a discount. Rather than checking with a supervisor, calling someone from the department, or making any effort whatsoever to find an answer, she basically said she wanted no part of the conversation and left it at that. She then proceeded to miscount multiple items, turning a simple checkout into an unnecessarily long process. The best part came at the end, when she asked what flower bulbs even were and whether they're basically plants you buy instead of a full plant. After spending the entire interaction working in the garden center, it was honestly surreal. I shop at Lowe's often, which is why this is so disappointing. I don't expect employees to be walking encyclopedias, but I do expect basic competence, basic customer service, and at least a minimal effort to help customers. Unfortunately, those standards seem to be optional at this location.
