They are slow with service after waiting over 10 minutes in the lobby to speak with someone about a safety deposit box. I tried to close the box and turn in the keys a week ago but was missing 1 key and they said they will charge for missing keys. They never mentioned needing an appointment but when I returned a week later, they acted like I should have known I needed an appointment to turn the keys in because they said it was a "BIG" process and that "no one was available and that they were too busy to run around an open the safe right now and to come back in 3 hours." This was at 11 am on a Thursday. They acted like it was a huge deal to shut down a safety deposit box. They have a representation in the lobby that was also discussing banking information with customers that was personal and was not considerate of other patrons having to listen to that customer's banking dilemmas. I would not recommend this bank to anyone.

I had a checking, savings, credit card and an auto loan there and decided I didn't want to bank there anymore. As a punishment they revoked my access to paying off my car online, seeing my payment statements and balances on my auto loan. I had to call every month to pay and get updated on the new balance and confirm they received it and deal with children who always have different answers because none of them have been trained to know the same information. The people in the Berkeley Branch are decent people who thought it was ludicrous that my access was revoked (I literally couldn't log into the site) all because I didn't want my hard earned money to be kept there despite being a loyal customer and paying my auto loan on time. They weren't able to help but agreed it was ridiculous.
