Wanting to find a someone to repair an old, small windshield crack, tried a couple local businesses and was referred to one so I called and he said the employee with the kit was out but would be in the next day. Needless to say, this went on for a couple more times without a call back. Found Ace Auto Glass right off Kanoelehua Ave and met with Kelton Chang and asked if I could return in an hour. Returned fir the scheduled appointment and he guided me into an open bay and he went to work. Within 30 minutes, he was done and the cracked was filled and sealed. Kelton who happens to be the proprietor was very friendly, personable, and easygoing. Highly recommend for windshield crack repair. After calling three windscreen service centers in Hilo, I opted to go with Ace for my windshield replacement. Took a couple weeks to get my windshield into the store (ordered from Honolulu). Ultimately I am glad I went with Ace; but there is room for improvement. Prices and workmanship are excellent. Kelton is very friendly and easy to work worth. The not so great is their communication. No one picks up the phone or returns voicemails. So if you are fine with going to their service center to get updates and scheduling, you'll be good. Just be patient and it should go well. read more

Had a cracked windshield. Called Kelton at Ace Auto Glass and was lucky that he had the windshield in stock. Set an appointment for 10 AM the next day. When we dropped off the vehicle he said it would be about 3 hours to replace. Ace is within walking distance of Mall and other stores in area. Ordered glass 9/29/22 it's 6/29/23 still no glass and unhelpful responses from the company. If you want it done go elsewhere. I gave up.

They provided me with excellent service and was very professional. I have no complaints at all and they delivered as promise. They are truly professionals--friendly, efficient, and reasonably priced. I paid less than 30% of what I would have paid for at the dealership. I called them on Monday afternoon, and I came in the next morning. My windshield was fixed in under 1 hour.
