I know you're upset, my response was please consider future customers and look at the map before someone rearranges their entire weekend to have you come out and provide a simple quote. I don't know what kind of business determines travel is a little too far, but that should be done in advance for the customer. This is likely indicative of the type of service that they will leave you with. I would stay clear.

Overall, the project and the results were excellent, they could not have been better. Communication during the project was on-going and they were excellent advisors to us when selecting tile. A special shout out to Ed Corbett, Tara Hawkins, Larry, Luis and the two guys who first came out to deal with the water damage. Everyone was a pleasure to work with.

Tara is the person who was going to put the estimate together for us. She said she would have it to us by the following week on Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest. We received an email from her on August 29th stating that they needed access to the house, they were bringing some other contractor with them so she could put together an accurate estimate. This is the last correspondence we had with her. When I followed up the next two weeks with phone calls, texts, and emails, we got no response. This past Monday, September 18th, we finally called their main office and spoke to the managing supervisor and only then learned that they were not going to proceed with our project. He stated to us that they had known this for some time and we were supposed to have received a call from someone telling us this update. Nobody contacted but rather they dodged our calls, text, and emails for over two weeks. This has delayed our project by another month but thankfully another impressive group jumped in and picked up the work. This is unacceptable business practice and behavior for Venturi especially since this is such a difficult and emotional situation and the scope of the work was very extensive. They have been involved with this since day number one and Jason was even in meetings with the civil engineer. We were astonished that they just abandoned us with no correspondence. I will never use Ventuir nor refer them to anyone again. ***And what is even more interesting is that as I am typing this, we just received a work order to sign so we can proceed with work for them even though they stated they cannot do our project. There must be lots of disconnect between employees at this company. Would not recommend it if you want your project actually completed.

We reached out to Go To Services as our 3rd call to get our bathroom remodeled (just a tiny, 6'x9'…read morebathroom), but they ended up being the lowest bidder, and seemingly the most honest. Our bathroom had some mold, but we suspected it was simply surface mold and not black mold; our first two contractors that came out just made the on-the-spot determination: that's black mold, we'll need to tear everything down to the studs, replace everything, etc. Go To was the first to say, "Let's take a look at this." Thankfully, everything tested out just fine. There were a couple hiccups along the way: there was a misunderstanding about the tile pricing, and there was a considerable issue with the people who came in to do the tile work causing damage to my front yard by walking through it, using it to set up equipment, etc., but in the end, that was remedied after I talked to the foreman. The final result was a very beautiful bathroom with extremely well-done tile, paint, and plumbing work. They were very good with communication throughout the process and took care of EVERY issue as soon as it was pointed out. I would definitely use them again.

Lack of respect for the home with issues like damage done to preexisting items and significant paint over spray. Constant miscommunications with who was showing up when. Went through three project managers and still needed to have an outside contractor come in and check all the work daily. Things broken and then hidden. They do the bare minimum and then see how much you are willing to complain. Cracked materials used, damage to stainless steel appliances by resting other metal items on them. Weeks and weeks of waiting to go things ordered. They wasted my own left over materials I gave them to use. Easily the worst situation I have had with a company . The mold mitigation team and Alex in the front office were awesome and lured me into a false sense that they could do the rebuild. They did win in that I finally just had to tell them to get out and have the rest done and a cleaning crew come in. I will be sharing this to all platforms, review sites and the better business bureau. The only advantage I had was they were part of my home insurance so I had to sign off on there work. I did extremely reluctantly. I have extensive documentation of everything. They will not be working with my home insurance company again and I warn anyone else from using them.
