After getting my 2nd set of choppers, I complained about biting my lower lip when I ate. They told me to stop chewing with my front teeth. Two weeks later a tooth fell out where I was biting myself. They fixed that tooth but I complained again about biting myself. This went on for about a year. The last time I went in they tried to fix my problem but I told them that I'm still biting my lip. They charged me for that repair. When I complained about this on-going problem and that they should not have charged me, they said it has been a year since I had them??? I've been biting myself for over a year and I am still biting my lip. I Will not go back to this uncaring company. read more

I went to a denture place on 38th street by the Tacoma Mall what a joke. My denture broke in half almost right away I went to Accusmile and Alex knew I was miserable. All he said to me then was it's okay I'm going to make you a very beautiful denture for you. I have a top one only bcuz when I was 13 riding a 10 speed in the pouring rain and went to cross the street and my front tire found the rain drain grate on the street and it stopped me like I hit a parked train. So I lost my teeth and had porcelain for 25yrs. When they fell out I had no choice but a denture. Anyways I've had these for 4 yrs now and I've never once had to use anything to keep them in. No glue nothing they're so great the airlock is wonderful. I can eat steak an apple whatever. They may rock a little bit but they hold on place. I love Accusmile and tell everyone I know. ACCUSMILE gave me back my ability to smile. I always had perfect teeth until getting sick and a medication I was prescribed ruined them. Dr. Melner is as good as it gets for dentures. He is a wonderful artist for certain, but also makes sure that the dentures he makes for you are to the best possible benefit to your health. Ensuring that the "bite" is perfect, and that materials used are the latest and best in the field, he also takes the time to be sure that the fit won't damage your jaw or bone structure. Dr. Melner and his assistant Julia work very very closely with you, taking care of any problems that might arise, and the follow up is fantastic. My experience with Accusmile was beyond 5 stars. A front tooth on my upper denture fell out and apparently dissapeared with the food I was eating at the time. I surfed the Web until I found AccuSmile and phoned with some questions (estimate, etc.) I spoke with Alex and he informed me he was on his way to the office and could fix the problem. He quoted me an extremely fair price over the phone, but I neglected to tell him I didn't have the original tooth. Once I arrived and he determined that the tooth itself needed to be replaced (instead of just reaffixing the original tooth), he stuck with his original quote over the phone. That duly impressed me. The workmanship was superb, as was the service. I spoke extensively with the receptionist (I'm sorry I didn't get her name), who was extremely friendly and knowledgable. I am a Registered Dental Hygienist and very particular about the aesthetics and function of any denture. My spouse goes to Alex because I think his work is superior to many around town. That being said, no denture is as good as your real teeth. So floss and quit smoking. I don't have enough words to describe how awesome Alex and Julia are. I had the misfortune of having a tooth break from my denture, and found Accusmile on a yelp search. I was desperate to get it fixed but wanted to find the RIGHT place regardless! In the process of getting the repair done, Alex pointed out the flaws in my existing denture, and suggested that I consider replacing it. There was no pressure, no fuss. But looking at my options, I realized that it was time to make my smile look a little more natural! In just over 2 weeks, after a few appointments for impressions (Alex is a perfectionist, but his work shines because of it) I replaced my horridly bad fitting dentures with a smile that is so natural looking that even people who know me don't recognize it!
