We hired Accurate to take care of multiple issues in our home for the last 2 years. In the most recent problem, we noticed that our heater would sometimes not turn on in the middle of the night. Our house was built in the 50's, which means minimal if not any insulation throughout the home. In the winter months, we set the thermostat to 70 overnight and I would wake up early for work and see the temperature inside the home would be 58. We have separate independent thermometers throughout the home and all would verify the same results. We booked an appointment to get it checked out and the HVAC service provider who came out was David. He was very professional right off the bat and was determined to figure out the problem. When he entered our home, he covered his work boots with shoe covers without even being asked! I greatly appreciated his considerate practice. I explained the issues we were having and he listened intently to our problem. Before even looking at our furnace, he inspected our vents and noticed signs of a malfunction. David was able to climb into our tiny crawlspace and figured out the problem. He figured out that our system was choking and didn't have a large enough return inlet. He explained the problem using analogies that made it easy to understand the problem and potential issues that can come down the line if left without repairs or intervention. David and I discussed options to resolve the problem. We explored different locations to place additional return vents, relocating our current vent to another location, or upsizing the current location. We discussed the logistics of each option and decided upon a practical solution that would also help with better access for future service. Since the job was going to be more than 1 day, we set an appointment for the work to be done later in the week. David came on the scheduled day with Tristan, who is the framing/structural associate. David discussed the gameplan with Tristan and they coordinated the timing and logistical order in which the work was to be done. Tristan was also very professional and notified me of what he was doing along the way. Both of their coordinated efforts showed me how efficient and diligent both guys are. After each guy finished, they cleaned up after themselves and left no signs that they were even there! They explained and showed me all the work they did when the job was done. I asked many questions and they patiently answered my questions. ACCURATE ELECTRIC IN GLENDORA WAS NEXT LEVEL PUSHY AND SHADY. Let me be very clear. I requested an estimate. That's it. An estimate. No work was performed. No agreement was made. Not even a verbal agreement that I wanted the work done. And somehow I receive an INVOICE with a signature on the customer line. Excuse me? Since when does an invoice exist before work is done? And whose signature is that supposed to be? Because I never signed anything authorizing a $5,200 job. From the second they walked in, the vibe was aggressive sales mode. The electrician wasn't assessing. He was selling. Hard. It felt like one of those high pressure timeshare presentations where you're just trying to breathe and they're already calculating financing options. They quoted $5,200 to "upgrade" a panel. I ended up hiring a licensed electrician who did the job properly for $3,000. Same scope. Legit. Clean. No theatrics. Then came the Edison rebate story. They claimed there was some rebate through Southern California Edison and that they'd provide a letter. That sounded convenient. I called Edison myself. Turns out those rebates apply to EV outlet installations, not random panel upgrades. So what exactly was that about? Because the information they gave was flat out misleading. And let's talk about the subtle nonsense. During the appointment the technician says something along the lines of "talk to your wife?" There is no wife. It's 2026. The assumption alone was outdated and unnecessary. Just another layer of unprofessional energy on top of everything else. But the part that really sent me was receiving an invoice with a signature on it as if I authorized $5,200 of work. That crosses from pushy into shady territory. If you are just looking for an estimate, protect yourself. Do not sign anything. Double check everything. And absolutely do not feel pressured by the sales tactics. I went in wanting information. I walked away feeling like I had to dodge a contract I never agreed to. That says everything. **** I am not friends nor am my family to this company.... The sale pitch of giving me a $300 discount that should be used each month.... Pathetic.... I saved myself a headache and $2200....... Overpriced and very shady. Very unprofessional and a complete waste of time. I scheduled a dryer vent cleaning and the technician who showed up couldn't even move the stackable washer/dryer to access the vent. I tried helping him move it myself, but he still couldn't get it done. Instead of resolving the issue, he told me they would need to reschedule and come back with another person. Fine -- things happen. But here's where it gets ridiculous. The rescheduled day came and no one showed up. No call. No message. Nothing. When I called the company to ask what happened, they told me that moving the unit is something they "don't do." So let me get this straight: you reschedule me for a service that you apparently never intended or were able to perform in the first place? Why reschedule at all if your company policy is that you don't move the appliance needed to access the vent? This company wasted my time twice, failed to communicate, and then contradicted their own technician. If a business can't even coordinate something this basic or stand behind what their own employee told a customer, that's a major red flag. On 4/1/26, I had an unexpected leak coming from my faucet underneath the kitchen sink. Since my wife and I were hosting for Easter, we had little time to ponder other than just getting the leak repaired. I purchased a new faucet at Home Depo and contacted Accurate Electric for the installation. I am a frequent customer and had used them for countless other repairs the last several years. The responding technicians were professional as usual and stated they could install the new faucet for $700. I thought this was a bit high, but didn't have time to shop around and needed it repaired ASAP. Unfortunately, the hot/cold valves were also old and needed replacing as well. These valves are $15 parts at any hardware store but I was charged approximately an additional $900 to install both valves. Even with my discount the total was $1,588 for installing a faucet and 2 valves. The total time was approx. 2 hours. I understand things are more expensive now, but in my opinion, this was beyond outrageous and really surprised my wife and I since we have been longtime customers of Accurate Electric. Needless to say, we won't be calling them for any future plumbing needs. read more

They discovered several issues that need replacement or repair and came up with a comprehensive plan which is both financially reasonable and will be functional given the high mineral water content of Azusa. I contracted Accurate to rewire my entire house and add a sub panel on 06/03/25, 5 weeks later I still have no power the work has been left unfinished including preexisting wires that should have been removed. I would love for the owner or upper management to stop by and see their technicians work. Nothing but a headache since they started, mistake after mistake. They left my house a mess every day without cleaning up after themselves. Saw dust, papers from wiring, and energy drink cans left behind. So much unnecessary damage created throughout the process. No accountability has been taken from there techs or management. Not to mention a failed city inspection for rough electrical. I gave them 1 star because there isn't an option for no stars. I'm usually too busy to even leave a review but I wanted to save others the trouble from what I've experienced. So, what I requested was a free estimate for any electric, plumbing, or HVAC issues to be repaired (I'm about to close on a home in 2 days) whatever they see that i can repair. Kim was nice enough to waive my service call fee, I think it was $98. But what happened was the electric tech selling me a $9.99 monthly plan, then a full inspection for $698 on-site. I was not prepared, thought I requested for a free estimate of whatever electric issues he sees. Then the electric tech tried to stop the plumbing tech for giving me an estimate, saying that I needed to pay for a full plumbing inspection before I can get an estimate. This is the first I've ever heard from a plumbing company. I've gotten several free estimates from other companies. The problem with the home I'm about to close on had overt water lines everywhere (should be inside the walls) inside and outside the house. All a plumber needed was to walk-through the house and seeing all the overt water pipes to know that the house needed a repipe and basically note down the number of fixtures (sinks, toiles, tubs, showers.. etc) and how a repipe would run to calculate an estimate for the repipe. There's no crawl space, I didn't ask to check the drains.. I just wanted to know what were my options with the overt water lines everywhere. Also, if a full inspection was needed to get an estimate, why didn't Kim just tell me so when i was making the appointment? Why did she bother to waive my service call and saying this would be a free estimate? It would've saved hours of my time and their time! Kim waived my fee when I said I'll think about it if there's a fee for them to come out to give me an estimate. There are plenty of electricians, plumbers.. etc who would come out to do free estimates. so this is definitely a disconnect between Kim who booked my appointment and the electrician. Anyhow, I voiced my frustration after the visit also the morning after - i just wanted the estimates that they're not giving me but selling me full inspections. Not only did I not get the acknowledgement that I did request for a free estimate, but Kim instead blamed me for not clarying that I'm not yet an owner (in 48hrs I'd be and what does this have to do with anything?), so that I needed to pay $398 for something I forgot and $xxx for xxx I also forgot because by this time I was fuming inside. Her point was that because I'm not yet an owner, I cannot request for a free estimate.. she said that i told her that I'm the owner.. i honestly don't remember if she even asked me that question. So basically Kim was trying to say that "owners" can only get an estimate after paying $698 for a full inspection - like what the electrician tried to sell me. I just don't understand, a repipe is well over $10-15,000 these days that they could earn.. why are they holding back in giving me a repipe estimate, instead pushing so hard to sell me $698 full inspection??? So if you're looking for a free estimate, go elsewhere. Otherwise, you'd pay for the service call, plus $698 full inspection before you'd get any estimate. I'm scratching my head how they get any business.. consumers can easily call businesses that offer free estimates! It was a complete waste of time, gas and energy on both sides! read more

Requested service and tried to get a smaller timeframe like 1 to 2 hour window and they don't offer that yet they work in the area seems like maybe they should reevaluate where they offer their services and I'm sure that would help with offering better customer service. PRICE GOUGING and LIES In Feb I had a few kitchen sockets fixed/replaced. Kenny was very knowledgeable. Kenny told me about the $20 a month membership for future services. You would get 20% off services up to $500 off. That being said I called Accurate again to have my upstairs bathroom checked. There was a leak that went down to the garage ceiling. That bathroom hasn't been used in 2-3 years because of Insurance issues and the leak. Martin from Accurate came and said he would have to cut a hole in the garage ceiling and check for the leak. He also said he would clear the drain. (He didn't- lie) I asked if he was going to fix the hole in the ceiling. He was very sarcastic and said "No" he was a plumber not in construction. I said since he was working on the leak, could he drain and refill my water heater. He did. He fixed the pipe that was leaking and then removed the water heater to drain. I have pictures of him fixing the leaky pipe working over the water heater. He told his office that he had to remove the water heater to get to the pipe! Lie!! I have pics, I was taking pictures cuz my son wanted to see what was being done. After he took a 2 hour lunch he came back to finish up. I had an Accurate gc for $25 I gave Martin, he didn't use it but said he did. (Lie) The charge for a pipe replacement and cutting the drywall ceiling was $3,464.00!!! You would think for that price he would have used his own ladder! No, he used mine, and I cleaned up the mess! Martin said that was the amount after he deducted the $500!! So I'm guessing they use the "membership" to price gouge. ACCURATE can't be trusted. Last thing Martin asked me, " Now can you do me a favor?" I was kind of taken back and said What? He asked me to give him a 5 star review!!! I said I would have to think about it and I'll write something later. He said he could tell me what to write. This made me very uncomfortable and felt he was targeting me because I'm a female. He waited for me to finish the 5 star review and left. He never gave me a receipt. As soon as he left I went back to Yelp and cancelled it. I called the Office and spoke to Sheri. I had to call back 3 times for an itemized receipt. Which I never received. Martin combined the water heater draining and leaky pipe replacement all together... they wouldn't give an itemized receipt for each service done. I filed a complaint with the BBB, and may pursue this further. I just want all to know how unprofessional, unethical and a Liar Martin is. Also, I called 2 other plumbing companies, which I can't disclose, their prices were $1,000. - & $1,700 difference. I cancelled my membership and was given $250 back (Sheri said half of the $500 which was never given to me) Makes you wonder how many clients were asked to give 5 star reviews. I would give it 0 stars if I could. I called and said I needed service for my electric tankless water heater which keeps blowing a fuse. First an electrician comes out and tells me that I need a plumber instead. He then calls a plumber out who, because it's ELECTRIC won't work on it. I ask what he suggests and his response was, "Put a gas one in instead". Sure! I'd love to spend several thousand dollars to run a gas line out, not to mention buying a new water heater! Thank you for the response to my review however, your response is inaccurate. Your team DID NOT install correct wiring nor did they install/correct the circuit breaker. They did NOT RECOMMEND that I contact a spa company. I chose to contact a spa company because your techs stated there was a problem with the spa motor. The spa company checked all motor components and the spa company confirmed that there was NOTHING wrong with the spa motor. The spa company checked connection wiring's and the circuiting and removed the wiring and breaker that were placed in error by your team, started the spa, and the spa has worked fine since the spa company corrected it. The work your team did was incorrect and accordingly the spa was not correctly hooked up. Since then, I continue to receive invoices that I have never approved and threats. Your GM informed me that the original invoice (in excess of $1800) sent in error. read more

It started on the hottest day of the year, and my central air wasn't cooling the house down. I called Accurate and I met Mark, one of their service technicians. He looked at my system and basically gave me the bad news. It was an ancient system that could not be repaired due to the age of the unit! I knew this unit was old when I bought the house and actually got an extra nine years on it. I was given an estimate which seemed to be very fair with what they had to do. I was scheduled for the next week, however, they rescheduled four days earlier, which was to our benefit, being the weather was still hot and the temperature in the house was 88 degrees. Edwin and Anthony showed up on Tuesday and went to work installing a new central air system. First, two very pleasant human beings who engaged in some great conversation. Edwin explained to me what was going to be done and how long it would take. I gave them access to the inside and outside part of the units along a certain route, due to me having a guard dog on the property. They listened and went to work. At the end of the day, I felt a cool breeze on the back of my neck and realized the unit was installed and working. When I was shown the unit that was installed, I was thrilled. My older unit was so old, it had a brick holding the filter into place. That was gone, along with the old thermostat, and replaced with a state-of-the-art system. I talked with my neighbor and my mom's handyman and told them the price, and they said that was the going rate on the unit I purchased, so the price was not an issue. The work was the best I've ever come across on yelp, and I was a little hesitant, because I hired someone on this site that wasn't good for something else. So now I am two for three on good workers! They cleaned up everything as if they never were on the property and they landscaped the outside unit, which fit perfectly where the old unit was with a nice pebble layer and left me an extra bag so I could add more! Inside, Edwin explained the entire unit and guided me through the process of installing the application on my phone. For anyone older, I missed all this technology and am learning it all as I go. Edwin was a great educator in this process and left me with extra filters and the knowledge of how to maintain the unit for best results. At the end, there was a little communication problem with the payment, which was resolved the next day instantly, so that really wasn't an issue. This unit cools my house faster than the older unit ever did, even when we bought the house. I was completely impressed with the work ethic, the professionalism, and the just the great conversation of Edwin and Anthony. Accurate should know, that these two gentlemen, along with Mark, who I didn't forget, have secured their business as my air conditioning and heating company. Thank you for everything! read more

I had electrical work done by Kenny, who was really nice and very knowledgeable and personable. The first time he started to leave, he had said the a/c was working and I had him MAKE SURE and it was, in fact, not working (even though you could hear the fan) and he had to make some adjustments. Then he came back today to install a 50 am breaker. Again, before he left I asked him to MAKE SURE the a/c is working, and again, he assured me it was. Well, not it is 7:30 p.m., 80 degrees in my home, and I have medical conditions that are drastically impacted by being over-heated. I called their "24 hour service" number and they ARE NOT available to come out this evening, telling me it will be tomorrow before they can come do whatever is needed to do to get my a/c working again. It was working when they arrived and is no longer working, so it is an electrical issue that they created. And yes, you can hear the fan, but the cooler part is not working at all. I guess if I end up in the hospital, they'll get the bills. And if I have to get a hotel room, I guess they'll get that bills, too. I love that Accurate offers a service plan with included maintenance visits that they make sure to follow up with you on getting scheduled when the time comes. Every time accurate visits they are always professional and make sure to explain in detail all the things they checked and conclusions that they came to. I've had at least 5 different Accurate techs over to my house and all have been great, and we are a shoes off household that all of them have respected by bringing their own shoe covers. read more

The receptionist, Paula, seems to think that if you have a credit card which expires because of "membership fees", it's up to US to know this and contact them with an updated credit card. Two months went by without my knowledge of the card expiration. Miss Paula had the audacity to ask me to pay $9 for each of the two months. I didn't even know my membership was in arrears.
